I don't know who Hemlock is, but all I can speculate is that it has to be either Vincenzo Cicatrice or Robert Snow. But I sincerely doubt it could be Robert Snow. He's been nothing but helpful from start to finish, although said help has been hardly any effort on his part. That said, about the only thing left to do is wait, then I will play through and see if my original hunch was the correct choice.

Storywise, this entire case does have a chilling underside - not in reference to how Nick will lose his badge when the curtain closes. Just from the start of the 1st Investigation and the 2nd; Where it is clear that most of Nick's investigation skills will be turned on their head and force him to make tough calls and do without the tools he needed, with a dark shadow lurking behind him, around him, and everywhere, watching, plotting, and waiting to see his every move. It's like a giant ant-hill: the deeper you go, the more tunnels you find, and very likely you risk getting bit by the first thing that pops out to attack you when it sees you as a threat.
