This game will have a Logic mechanism similar to the one in Downfall of the Turnabout.
And this will be programmed in RPG maker VX, which has a few perks.
-More Features: This engine does not have the limits that PyWright presented me. And therefore can insert more features in an easier rate and quantity
-Little to no scripting - The program uses little to no scripting whatsoever. I will need to script when modifying the engine itself, but to program the game, no... But it also brings us to...
Downsides...
Even though the program is fancy, it's not all peaches and cream.
Here are some downsides.
-Programing Difficulty: Even though it doesn't use scripts, the engine is not meant to run Phoenix Wright-like features, to do this I have to go around the programing limits and insert some tricks of my own.
-More bugs: The program might bug, but it happens at a less rate.

Anyways... On to the game itself.

Edit: The game has been changed once more... :payne: Sorry...
Reason?, time. I think it will be quicker to do this...

Now, I know Turnabout Substitution already exists... (Which is an AWSOME game BTW, seriously, go play it. NOW!)
But I'd like to make my own interpretation of how a Case 5 would have unfolded. :hobolaugh:
Well, here's the Art:

Spoiler: Case Art

Sipnosis:
Apollo hasn't had a Trial in several months... Easy to say, the trials weren't as
exiting. Sure there was an important part here and there... But one night...
Apollo gets a call at 4 AM from the Detention Center. A man is asking for Apollo to
represent him in court. The man's name is Jhon Doe, he's accused of murdering
the former Judge. He accepts the case with a passion to fins his client innocent...
However, the more he investigates... the more he doubts his clients innocence...
Which will lead up to the inevitable question...
Should a person be judged by what good deed's it has done, or the sins and troubles he provoked?
What's better, to risk sparing a guilty person? Or condemn an innocent one?

I like the idea! It sounds pretty cool, with the parallel universe idea promising! Maybe Edgeworth finds himself in there and guess what? There's a murder...and it's related to the one in the other universe!
Anyway, it would be good if you could message me if there's any progress on it! :edgy:
Please don't hate meeeeeeeeeeeeee!

There is a lot of progress actually...
But I could use some help...
I need some sprites of Phoenix Wright in Gyakuten saiban 5 style

I know there are already several people who have made GS5 Phoenix sprites. You could try talking to one of them to get permission.

Revildaron made mine, but I'm not sure if he's been on lately. I think he might have a thread on AAO. You could just look through some of the sprite threads on this site. I know there's others. That was one of the first things people made after the game was announced.

The project isn't abandoned.
I reprogrammed it to resemble the Nintendo DS more.

Wow! I can't wait for more news on this! :phoenix:
This new storyline is..well...amazing! :edgy:
Apollo defending Shelly is clever, too. He's DEFINITELY the person you'd least expect to be on trial, let alone your own client. :odoroki:
