The full case has now been released! Download Now! A few notes: * The case features roughly 8-10 hours of content. * You absolutely need the newest version of PyWright (version 0.989, included with Conflict of Interest), otherwise the user interface will not work properly! * There is a strange and inconsistent bug that has been reported in which characters suddenly disappear altogether from court sections. It usually happens when you save and reload too often. To fix this, simply restart PyWright and load at an earlier save. * There is an examine spot during the investigation seemingly hidden behind the 'Back' button. Unfortunately, there's not much I could do there. It's still fairly visible on the top screen, though, so you should be able to get through the section without much issue. * Which also brings me to another point -- please play in dual screen. Mainly for some interface details. Premise Taking place several months after the events of Spirit of Justice, Phoenix finds himself alone when he takes a rather strange -- and extremely hopeless case. With an uncooperative defendant, a staggering amount of evidence supporting the police's case, and a prosecutor that clearly has it in for him, how will Phoenix turn things around? Is there even any room for doubt? Where does the truth lie? In the hearts of the key players, all with their own secrets and motives? Between the trees of the dense forest, the scene of a horrific murder? Or perhaps, in the mythical city of gold that seems to be the connecting factor between the strange circumstances of the case -- El Dorado? _________________________ While this case does take place after SoJ, it's worth noting that this case contains practically no spoilers for the story of that game. In total, it only features a handful of references. Screenshots Spoiler: Possible Spoilers Credits Spoiler: Credits (Spoilers for the case!) Walkthrough (One is included in the game files, but you for extra convenience, I've included one here, as well) Spoiler: Massive spoilers, obviously Ace Attorney / Gyakuten Saiban is property of Capcom. This fan game is not affiliated with Capcom in any way and is entirely by and for fans. |

Accepted. Along with kwando from AAO. I think I'll be accepting one more beta-tester. If there's no interest, though, I think two should work out just as well. |

For a brief moment, I thought this was a crossover case with The Road to El Dorado. |

I am also interested in helping out, may not be able to help much but would be glad to try and contribute some testing |

Given the lack of other applicants, in the interest of moving things along, you'll be the third tester. (Actually the fourth because y'know them S E C R E T beta-testers and their cooky ways.) I can honestly say, DWaM, this sure was not what I was expecting when you mentioned you had a case in mind. |

(I still say a DWaM VS Jakkid166 collab is a great idea.) Also DWaM if that "speedzoom" bg isn't sped up, and gets flipped whenever Phoenix uses it this case gets thrown in the garbage as a worse case than 2-1. You've been warned, friend. |

Yeah, I assumed it was just a coincidentally similar name to moment I saw who made the thread, which was approximately half a second after I read the title. I'll be sure to check this case out in the future, if I ever have time to do anything again. |

A Turnabout To El Dorado - Part 1 Is Now Out! Download Here! A couple of notes: * You absolutely need the newest version of PyWright (version 0.989, included with Conflict of Interest), otherwise the user interface will not work properly! * Music does not loop. I can't exactly claim it's intentional -- it's just something I honestly have no skill, time or effort to do. If anyone wants to do it, they are welcome to, of course. But just wanted to point out it's not a bug. * There is a strange and inconsistent bug that has been reported in which characters suddenly disappear altogether from court sections. To fix this, simply reload from an earlier save, before experiencing the issue, and that should fix it. Save often just in case, though! The main post has also been updated with the credits for this part. I hope you enjoy! |

No, you can. Just not all of them, as it seems I misspelled 'label' for the label for 'other' evidence. Oh, well. Not a major issue, either way. Will be fixed in the next release. |

Thanks to the efforts of Spybreak001, the game will have a properly looped soundtrack after all! This will be included in an update that will come along after a bigger majority of people have played through it and have the inevitable bugfixes and such. |

This is a pleasant surprise. I'm gonna wait until everything is released, or else this case will be stuck in my head for months considering how complicated DWAM cases always are. |

DWaM's grimdark cases might not be the best, but they were super unique. DWaN grimdark is like rare hamburgers. So good when done well |

Post subject: | Re: [PyWright] A Turnabout To El Dorado (Part 1 Released!) |
There hasn't been an update mainly because there's no update to give. I've done no real progress due to my real life obligations, as I suggested I wouldn't. It will pick up soon-ish, but until then, I simply have nothing to show. Interest seems to be somewhat low anyway, so I don't think I'm at too bad of a position when it comes to slacking a bit behind. I do intend to have it done by the end of the summer overall, but I make no promises. |

True, but the interest in AA cases is usually silent majority, so there's probably hundreds of people who are anticipating it, due to the view count :P |

I agree. Despite the seemingly low interest, a lot of people are looking forward to the next part. Personally, I have been checking this topic every day since your first post. I've played all your cases and I've thoroughly enjoyed every one of them. So, I can't wait to see how this particular story unfolds. |
