...I am such a nerd :P
The other day I came across small program that changes the looks of the cards in windows card games (solitaire, hearts, and freecell)
It comes with some custom decks, but I thought they were all kind of lame so I quickly edited the standard one (which has really huge cards o.o; ) into a Phoenix Wright related one ^^;
...I did it in paint so it kind of sucks XD but if you guys want to check it out I will post up where to get the program and host my deck edit.
Here are some screenshots..
The solitaire ones have been resized. You need a pretty big resolution to play with the biggest card size (mine's like... 1280x800 i think)
but the program can resize the cards...see screenshots, hearts and freecell are normal sized xD
Here's where I found this program :P
http://home.comcast.net/~ammaxamma/You can download my suck-ish Ace Attorney deck here:
http://zeiralia.deviantart.com/art/Ace- ... s-91585359There's one custom back that I did quickly in Paint :D
And I'll post how to get it all to work :P
First just download the exe (that's what I did, but you can DL the zip if you want. But I dunno how that one works exactly) and install it.
Then go to your main drive and find your program files. The folder inside containing the cards.dll enhanced should say "Cards.2005.01" and inside is a bunch of stuff like the main exe's and the dll itself, and an ini file, CARDS.ini
You'll see the folders containing the custom cards, there are 5 default.
Inside those will be gif imaged named with numbers, 1-68
So making your own cards are easy, just remember to name them correspondinly (1 = ace of clubs, 2 = 2 of clubs...all the way up 'til 52, and then the crisscrossy thing (53), then the backgrounds, and then the last two things (the X and O) for solitaire. Whew!
So if you're using the one I made, unzip it and stick it in the main part, not in any of the other folders.
Then open the CARDS.ini in notepad, and it says something like
Code:
[Card]
Current Folder=AA 213x288 Gifs
Folders Path=C:\Program Files\Cards.2005.01\
Border Color=0
Corner Type=1
[Misc]
IniFile=1
Special Config MS Apps=1
change the thing after "
Current Folder=" to the name of the folder of images you want to use, don't put a space after the =, though.
If you're using the Ace Attorney cards then it should say "Current Folder=AA 213x288 Gifs" like mine ^^;
Then click on the exe of whatever game you wanna play and it should work. :P
Feed Godot, click on the image. xD;;
