Many people won't agree with me, but after finishing this game I got a feeling that Prosecutor Miles Edgeworth chooses to be het.
No doubt he's emo, but he's a gentleman, the ladies' man. I truly loved his remarks about decoration and fashion, especially when he was with Franziska. By the way, this game makes clear to me that they behave exactly like siblings. I cannot think about them as a pair anymore.
I also support Franziska X Lang (he has guts to call her 'sis').

On the subject of crack ships, I really feel the game could have been improved on so many levels by replacing Kay with Viola.

And when Franzy is your partner and you investigate random pieces of furniture(Especially in Allebahst) He makes comments about interior design! Now that's a stereotype, so by itself it doesn't say anything. But I wouldn't think that Capcom's writing team would put that in and not realize that having him comment on interior design while investigating a crime scene is quite the stereotype. And Capcom has a separate writing team for the US version of the game then the Japanese version so it's not like the writers are all a bunch of ignorant Japanese men in suits who are out of touch with stereotypes.

So... Shi-Long Lang/Dick Gumshoe. After being used and abused by Edgeworth, Gumshoe runs crying to Lang looking for a better life. And Lang accepts him with open arms! I'm not saying I support this. But I'm just throwing it out there so it will invade your mind and make you have dreams about it.

This pairing is HOT. I thought so while playing the game, and I still think so. Oldbag could WORK that Pink Princess costume, and they could do it in Alba's office by the fireplace.
Still, in-canon, it's definitely a one-sided attraction. Oldbag's all "I know you know I'm hot, but you totally can't have a piece of this." It's a shame, though... Alba had all the hotness of Gant without the rapist stare.

Thinking about it, I believe Lauren and Viola would make a great couple. Due to Viola's connection to Lance, it's perfectly possible for them to meet. Both have some messed up habits, they've done bad things for the sake of love, and they've been hurt by someone they thought cared about them.

Portsman/Matt Engarde. While this seems like a crack pairing, I ship them because they like sports. Based on the comment Matt said in 2-4 that he was good at all sports. Portsman loves all sports.
Zinc/Drew. Based on their love for art. Not shipping Zinc/Vera for obvious reasons.
Lance/Wocky. Two young punks.
Lauren/Wocky. I can see this happening, even though I don't like this pairing.
Demasque/Demasque2. Just the characters, not Ron and the Demasque 2 guy whose name I can't remember. Ka-shi Nou or something like that.
I came up with another reason for Luke/Cammy. Remember, Luke wants to be loved. And Cammy, well definently can give him that love.

LOL I thought of those too when I played that case XD I thought of Lance/Alita too.
As for other pairings, so far I've only come up with Gumshoe/Maggey and Miles/Rhoda (It was so sweet when he bought her suitcase. He actually felt bad for her T_T). If I can think of anymore I'll come back.
