He looks like a badass, even his name is badass. I don't really like the English name though. Thought it was not "manly" enough.

Here's an explanation for people who don't get his name:
His localized name is actually just the (Mandarin) Chinese reading of the Japanese kanji characters 狼士龙, which were already meant to sound super Chinese in the first place. (What with him being from "Zheng Fa" and all.) It's kind of a perfect, no-brainer localization, and none of the meaning gets lost because the characters mean the same in both languages.

Pronounce it as "Shir-Loan Lawn" and you will have my props for saying it better than 95% of non-Chinese speakers. ;p Better yet, say it with the family name first: Lang Shi-Long, pronounced "Lawn Shir-Loan"! That's how it's supposed to be said, plus it's not as awkward without the two L's together.

Also, has anyone else noticed that both Phoenix's and Lang's Japanese names have dragon in them? And that they both have spikey hair and a thing for prosecutors?

My current theory is that Lang is actually an alternate personality of Phoenix's, born from being pushed around by prosecutors one too many times.
