Ka-Shi Nou: Chinese pronounciation of the Japanese characters in his Japanese name (Aoi Akaishi (sp?))
Zheng Fa: Chinese pronounciation of the Japanese characters in its Japanese name (Seihou)

...Phew. That's the second time I've posted all of that.

Pretty interesting... :yogi: But there's just two things...
Spoiler: Chinese names
Ka-shi Nou would be pretty amazing if it was the double pun of "casino" and its Chinese self, but it's not... In Chinese it is Chi Shi-Kui, which has no meaning...
Zheng Fa is not the Chinese pronounciation of the Japanese name- Capcom actually changed the characters when localizing, which is pretty interesting. It says Zheng Fa, now. I can't remember what the "zheng" is, but 正法 is "to execute" and 政法 is "politics and law." It was originally 西风, or "Western Phoenix."

I pronounced 'Deid Mann' as 'Dee-ed Man'.

It sounds Jamacian!

The "ei" sound is pronounced like "I"... So it would be like "died man." >_>

"ei" has a lot of different sounds.

"ay" sound in words like "neighbor"

"ih" sound in words like "forfeit"

"ee" sound in words like "perceive"

"i" sound in words like "height"

When I first played through case 3 I thought 'Lauren Paups' was a play on 'Lauren pops', as in 'Lauren goes apeshit'.

Spoiler: Case 3
It made so much sense to me when she was being played up as the killer.

Minor Case 5 spoilers:
Spoiler:
"Primidux" almost certainly comes from the Latin primus, meaning "first" and dux, meaning "leader." It makes sense, since he was the first king of Cohdopia, and it fits with the Latin names of Quercus Alba and Colias Palaeno.

I always thought Calisto Yew sounded like "Close to You", as Cece Yew was like "Sees you". They sort of match on that note, and then on top of that, Calisto Yew is always close to you in the cases she's involved in. It's sort of flaunting her presence.
