I may not like Lang, but you think his theme sucks?! His theme is the only good part about him! And have you forgotten that Lang constantly makes wolf related metaphors, just like Godot's coffee related ones? And the fact that he starts out hating the main character, but slowly grows to like them, just like Godot? However, I will agree that Edgeworth's personality is different. That could be because the GK series has a different writer from the main series, which is why all the returning characters have been either flanderized or completely changed. |

Most Investigation characters are just a big fat 'meh' to me, so I don't generally pay much attention to them. However, one character which just bothered me to no end was Justine Courtney. Her entire character is revealed within the first five minutes, she develops exactly like one would expect, has nothing interesting to say, and she's just a boring, faceless blob. ...That and there's something off about her breasts. I don't know what it is, but I'm sure there's something. |

Okay, I must admit, he's somewhat more pompous and less emotional if compared to 3-5... But it wasn't a drastic change at all, he always used sophisticated words and unlike Phoenix, he takes a while to fully explain things due to his attachment to details and perfectionism. And well... Edgeworth is a proud person, that's one of his major traits. All the GS original characters were well-protayed in my opinion... As a stated, I liked Edgeworth, Franziska and Gumshoe. Oh I forgot, Manfred too. My favorite case was 1-4 since is when we learned more about Edgeworth and Franziska's family life and it showed how Gumshoe debuted. The only GS original characters which I didn't mention is either because they were irrelevant (Ema) or because they're comic reliefs/a pain in the ass (Larry and Oldbag). |

Lance. Lance annoyed me to no end. And Zinc... I wasn't keen on Jacques either. I'm only on case four, though. Let's see if there are some even more annoying characters when I reach case 5. |

Mike Meekins is always annoying, but in this game he hit a new low. Zinc LeBlanc might be the least likeable character ever, he's just... just obnoxious and he doesn't have a personality. I can't even hate him because he's just... an empty shell with some irritating traits glued on. The final villain... just give up. Ernesto Armano did absolutely nothing for me, and neither did Rhoda. They were both quite irritating. I don't like Shi-Long Lang at all. He gets on my nerves. And... that "Mask de Masque II" kid deserves a spot here as well. You're NOT Mask de Masque in any way. Idiot.

I think I agree about Meekins (NOT Meekings) hitting a new low, yes. And I completely agree about Zinc LeBlank, it was just... who are you? What are you? What do you want? Impossible to like, and, as you said, almost impossible to hate because of said reasons. Lang gives me a headache, but at least he has some kind of purpose (even if it just feels like he's there to take the piss out of Edgeworth). Edit: ...Meekings. MEEKINGS. That was almost as fugly as Yurki. |

In GK2, Tsukasa and the boxer are probably the most annoying, along with the judge, but I still like her a little. And Bansai... he seems to be made just to be horrible. |

I didn't like the Amanos for some reason. They just seemed kinda "dickish" in my opinion. Also their ear lobes freak me out a bit. They just flow in the wind like leaves. |

When I was replaying this game for the second time I thought I'd be hating Kay for being a Mary Sue, but Gumshoe is so incompetent. He doesn't know what logic is, he can't figure out simple deductions, and he has to constantly interrupt Edgeworth's examinations to be funny. Worst. Assistant. Ever. |

Portsman. He's crossed the line of being annoying. I mean, he accused every single person, even the VICTIM himself. Boy, isn't this what we call "Upper Jerk School"? Hope I'm not the only one who felt vengeful satisfaction when he swallowed his medal and passed out.  Lance. He was a total jerk, too. I feel sorry for Lauren.

I've replayed GK1 after a long while and huh. I grew a liking to some characters, but I hate the most part of them. 1. Jacques Portsman. I dunno, he's just really annoying. Also he killed my Buddy ;_; That's freaking unforgivable. 2. Cammy Meele. Her dumb, useless and shorter-than-short naps were really ticking me off. Also, I personally think that she has no brain. 3. The Amanos. Apart from their stupid ear lobes, their personality really sucked big time. 4. Calisto Yew. The neverending hate for this woman just grew by seeing her damn stupid laughing-sprite and she really can't object. Sucks to be her. 5. Mike Meekins. At first I thought he was cute, a nice character but then it turned out to be a completely mess with him. He's just plain annoying. 6. Oldbag. 1 case is enough, but 2 cases really brought tears into my eyes. I wanted to cry after seeing that she was going to appear in another case. I hate her. As for Kay, I really love her. She's such a cute character  Normally, I don't really like the female sidekicks, but it's a different story when it's going about Kay. She's so.. aaah, just really cute.

i didn't really dislike the amanos, i just thought they were like...kind of awkwardly characterized. i couldn't really read lance's character at all, he kept jumping from over-dramatically poetic and stoic to super anxious and childish, kinda all over the place. i do like his design though (although the pink vest is jarring to the rest of the color scheme imo) Spoiler: calisto certainly had a lot of potential squandered by a gimmick that was stretched far too thin, i feel. the hysterical laughter i think would've worked better if it was used much more sparingly |

I agree about Lance, I never got a grasp of what kind of character he was supposed to be, the only lasting impression I got from him was "crybaby". Calisto never bothered me but I can see why people would be annoyed as she was rather on and off - either in hysterics with laughter or stuck-up and serious. |

I too agree about Lance. I often forget about him, perhaps that's a good thing, but still - not only is he a stupid, annoying babyfaced crybaby with the personality of a baby and with a fugly design and "breakdown", he's also completely forgettable. |
