Babylon Zoo, Beck, Bézèd'h, Billy Talent is okay, Bloc Party too, Blondie, Buckethead (Population Override style), Calvin Harris, Cee-Lo, Coldplay's Viva la Vida album, Daft Punk is ace, Deathstars is lol, so is Deltron 3030, Department of Eagles, Depeche Mode, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Duran Duran is OKAY not great, same with Earth, Wind & Fire, Electric Six's "Fire" album, The Best of Faith No More, Fatboy Slim's early work is amazing, Flobots is not bad, Fuijya & Miyagi is the best, Gnarls Barkley, Gogol Bordello and Gorillaz are okay I guess, recently gotten into Ian Brown's solo work (Manchester pride...still dislike The Stone Roses though), Jaga Jazzist, Jamiroquai is brilliant, that one Johnny Hates Jazz song, Joy Division are okay (again, Manchester pride...), same with Justice, Kanye West's "Graduation" album (didn't really late Late Registration), Kasabian used to be one of my faves, Klute, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Ladytron, Logic System, LUNA SEA, Maxïmo Park, Maximum the Hormone, Michael Jackson isn't a band but whatever he rocks, same with Moby, same with Mylo x100, everyone likes Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Reno Project (free stuff), Röyksopp, Sam Sparro, Stereolab are the best, Styx were okay, so were Television, The Cure is ace, so are The Little Ones, same with The Prodigy and The Strokes, The View is a guilty pleasure, and of course the best band of them all Yellow Magic Orchestra.

I recommend Nightmare to anyone who has a love for the old fashioned kind of rock. Before all that emo crap. I would recommend Sendai Kamotsu to people but you would probably be freaked out by their bizarre humor. But for any of you who actually enjoy things that are out there and can enjoy the addictive music, then go for it! Yeah......
Oh and also: Guitar Vader and any works by Masafumi Takada. That man is a genius.

I think some people don't really like the subject emo music talks about (which sometimes involves depression/suicide but not all the time). However, emo really isn't that bad so I agree with you. I really don't consider FFAF to be emo though.

TBH I only listen to Nightmare cause well they sound different and at least provide a little more variety in their music, instead of "BLARRRRRGGHH! METAL 24/7!!" (That's just an example don't take offense to it)
Plus the vocalist is amazing! He can sing in any pitch! And he can sound like a perverted old man (lol Sendai Kamotsu) and still sound good.
That and everyone of them has written or composed a song. Most of the song writters in the group are Sakito, Ruka and Yomi. So they aren't just a pretty face, they have talent.
I'm not trying to convince you, just throwing that out there to anyone really interested.

...I guess if I had to give them credit for something, at least their name's not some throwaway European phrase to attempt to make the band seem more "meaningful" than they should be.
