basically the whole Garage, Inc. album is epic win with all those covers. and now i know why GH:M had Stone Cold Crazy by Queen on it.

I didn't realize that Die, Die My Darling was a cover. :knock-knock:

And that's one of my favorite Metallica songs, too.

That entire album is a covers album. They also did "The Wait" by Killing Joke. I forget if it was any good or not.

I haven't actually heard that one, funnily enough. I should probably point out that Killing Joke have changed their sound dramatically over and over, so don't expect it to necassarily sound similar.

The song I heard was actually called Millennium. Even I'm confused as to where I got Nightmare. :meekins:

Oh! Yeah, Millenium is awesome. And Pandemonium is a fantastic album. But yeah, The Wait sounds quite different. If you're looking for more material in that vein, i'd recommend "Mathematics of Chaos", "Democracy", "Exorcism" and "Whiteout", the latter of these having the priveledge of being one of few KJ songs you can dance like an idiot to. A pure fecking classic.

Of course, you really must check out "The Wait" as well.

Most of these... aren't unlikely. To be unlikely, you'd have to have something very far away from the original.

For instance, anything done by Gregorian. Several Pink Floyd Songs, Losing my Religion, Nothing Else Matters, The Sound of Silence (sorry about the farscape vid)... and they just rock. (metaphorically). Admittedly, some of their covers aren't so good, but that's because they chose the wrong sort of song to cover.

Well, mostly I posted genre-crossing covers. Like The Ataris covering "The Boys of Summer".

And as for "Antisocial", I found it unlikely that an obscure French heavy metal band would get a song covered by one of the "Four Horsemen of Thrash". :rock'n:

She also did a cover of Fly me to the moon twice. There is the 2007 remix and the one she did in 2000 I think. But the 2000 one is pretty rare.

Marilyn Manson can make anything sound sinister. Even grilled cheese if he wanted to.

His "Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)" is interesting, though. Feels like survival horror.
