Here's another topic that doesn't seem to be here yet. Does anyone have any favorite film scores? It can be from any movie.

I've been listening to the Blade Runner soundtrack recently. I really enjoy it's subtle electronic score and haunting tones.

Any score by Studio Ghibli composer Joe Hisaishi is great too.

What are your favorites?

I think Disney animated movies have great soundtracks. I love the soundtracks for Hercules and Pocahontas.

Yeah, Howard Shore is an amazing composer. I can't believe he was able to compose so much music for such a long film series, without deteriorating in quality throughout. The London Philharmonic Orchestra is one of my favorite symphonies because they do so many film and video game scores.

I'm very fond of the soundtrack for the Ivan the Terrible films, composed by none other than Sergei Sergeyevich Prokofiev.

I liked Inception's soundtrack quite a bit. As well as Pacific Rim's. IE: I really liked the fact that they reused the same themes in the soundtrack, but tweaked them to g w the soundtrack a... Sort of motif, I suppose?

Huge fan of anything by John Williams and Joe Hisaishi myself.
On April 3, 2016, Court Records Forums experienced a miracle upon that day.

The music in Star Wars is half the reason I like the series.

Heck, anything by John Williams is amazing.
Lord of the Rings is good too.
And anything by Hans Zimmer.

Sweeney Todd is a musical, so of course it's got tons of music! I was literally obsessed with this when it came out back in `07 and I still think it's absolutely magnificent. I do recommend watching the film, of course.

The best instrumental soundtrack I've came across is probably the from Harry Potter films, and I mean the first few movies more than the later ones with different directors, different dumbledores and all that. Not as good as the firsat two or three movies, but still the most excellent movie series ever directed, geez.

Although the movie wasn't well-received due to it's plot and/or script full of inaccuracies, the soundtrack of Les Miserables 1998 was awe-inspiring and breathtaking. Oh, and never forget any soundtracks by Joe Hisashi.

Yes, they contain some great music, I don't know how many times I listened to the soundtracks to Kill Bill 1 and 2, and Pulp Fiction when I was 14-15. Giiirl... you'll be a woman soon....

My personal favourite movie soundtracks are the soundtrack from Barry Lyndon and basically any soundtrack from a Peter Greenaway film. The baby of Mâcon has some really great music that fits the mood perfectly, but then there is the other movies with music by Michael Nyman...

The Pirates of the Caribbean films have one of the best soundtracks I've ever heard. Some personal favorite tracks are He's A Pirate, The Medallion Calls, Davy Jones, and Up is Down. Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events: The Movie also had a fantastic soundtrack. The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly, though I've never seen it, is another that has a great soundtrack. Oh, and I can't forget Star Wars. The cantina music is one of my favorite tracks, as well as the Imperial March.
