We know that Sasha didn't know about Azura's heart condition. But here's something I don't remember: did Shipley and Crab know that Ora was innocent? If they didn't, it was actually dangerous for them to want to keep a killer orca alive. If they knew she was innocent, why didn't they try to disprove the book? Surely it wouldn't be such a horrible invasion of Summers' privacy to reveal her medical condition posthumously in order to prevent an animal she trained from being slandered.

I don't think the game explicits it. I think they didn't know, or maybe Shipley knew about the heart condition but couldn't be sure it was the cause of death.

I think she actually hid it from everyone?... They actually just believed Ora couldn't be the culprit.

Yes but at the same time, I remember Shipley didn't want to let Sasha perform when he learned she had a heart condition, precisely because Azura had died from it. So Shipley had to know...
