Now I can't technicality play it because
A: it's in Japanese
B: the 3ds is region locked
But anyway that's fine because I'd like it just as a collectible. So I'd like to hear what you guys think. Was it a waist of money for something that's unplayable for me or cool just to have. And I'll let you guys know I'm asking this because my friends have mixed feelings about my decision. Be honest! I'm excited at having a copy and to know what you guys think! :will:

The more financial support for DGS the better, I say.

There's actually a number of ways to break the region lock on the 3ds; here's a list of them: http://smealum.github.io/3ds/

Granted, this won't help you around the Japanese problem, but at least you can run it!

Isn't that the only thing that matters? What's important is whether you feel it's a worthwhile purchase or not. I mean, I also buy books/games/etc. that other people wouldn't think worthwhile, but I think they're interesting enough. On the other hand, I have very little with figures, but the people who do buy them obviously think they're worthwhile.

That said, I'd have waited a few more months if I were you. Ace Attorney games are very bad at retaining value in Japan and their prices drop quite significantly very fast, usually within one year of release (and they are always very easily available, so you don't have to worry about not finding them). Might be too late now, but maybe something to consider if something similar happens again in the future.
