While playing 6-4, I never noticed
Spoiler:
that Kisegawa's voice bleeps are higher-pitched than Uendo's and Patches' before the reveal as well.

Spoiler: SoJ
I didn't catch until now that Inga's full name is a long-ass, stupid pun. (...and I found it really funny. >.< Probably because it took me off guard and because it's so stupid.)

It is by far the dumbest pun in the game, but it goes by so fast I can almost excuse it. Almost.

I never noticed that
Spoiler: Turnabout Trump and Turnabout Revolution
Kristoph talked about the back of the cards being blue and THEN Payne presents that evidence. Usually I can catch things quickly but that wasn't one of them. Of course I knew later but not then. I also didn't get the idea that Inga had propag-whatever, never even crossed my mind.

Actually, the above is one of those things I caught on to rather quickly. I'm surprised I even did, because it was so subtle. Just another reason why I like that case so much

Post subject:  Re: Obvious things that you didn't notice right away (spoile

I actually got that SoJ thing fairly early on too. It's probably due to having played another game where that was a plot point.

Yup, me too, for the same reason. A lot of people that have played that game seem to have caught up on it for precisely that reason :edgey:

Same here. That game. :edgey:

Yes, of course. No, I didn't mean it in an arrogant way, I just thought it looked kinda cute since they were so close to one another, the posts.

It just tires me, in general, when people feel they have to point out other people's mistakes when the mistake in question is completely irrelevant for the discussion at hand. It feels like I've seen it quite a bit lately, and, especially when someone feels inclined to post just to inform someone they made a grammar mistake or typo or something, it contributes absolutely nothing to the thread and doesn't really give a welcoming atmosphere either. ... But I can take "cute".

Post subject:  Re: Obvious things that you didn't notice right away (spoile

Aaaah, yes, I understand if it sounded like I meant it that way, and I should have had made it clear what my intentions were, because I certainly don't like those things either, they tire me out and irk me a great deal. I didn't do it to correct you or pointing out a mistake, it was just the fact that I found it a bit funny and cute because the two posts were right after one another (save for my post in between), otherwise I wouldn't have bothered or even cared. But you're not a mind reader, so I should have written something more and not just posted those two straight after one another. My apologies.

Anyway,I looked at Mr.Monkey in 1-3, and I realised that I saw its nose as its smile. I never did realise that until now. Which is funny, because I've seen that picture many times. Many, many times.

WG: Yeah but it's fine, thanks. I've just been thinking of the aforementioned behaviour for some time and I wanted to say something about it so now that an opportunity came to bring it up in general terms I took it.

That monkey is hella confusing. I can't see what I suppose to be the upper line of its mouth as anything other than a crooked moustasche.

In relation to what GoingForMiles said, I failed to realize, until replaying the case
Spoiler: Turnabout Storyteller
that the female voice in the intro could not have been Geiru to begin with and it's revealed fairly early too. Yes, I know it was Kisegawa now but upon replaying it, the game makes it very clear in Geiru's first testimony that she never entered the room around when the prologue happened. How I didn't notice that at the time, I don't know.

Finally, someone else who didn't understand Atmey's name. When I played the first time, it took me until my bro said it out loud and it hit me. :atmey:

More like hindsight things, but since this is the third time I've played case 4-3:

First, this dialogue, after having played DD:
Trucy:
Feelings are what matter,
Apollo.

Apollo:
It's kinda hard to build a
court case on feelings.

Well, hm.

Also,
Spoiler: 4-3 and 4-4
It's pretty neat to think about the fact that two Gramaryes unknowingly performed an illusion together (Lamiroir and Valant with the teleportation trick at the concert)

Post subject:  Re: Obvious things that you didn't notice right away (spoile

Dunno if this qualifies as double-posting, if so I'm sorry, but I just realized something! Borrowing the definition from Ace Attorney Wikia, The Divination Séance is a gameplay mechanic in Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Spirit of Justice. A key function of Khura'in's court system, and maintained by royal priestess Rayfa Padma Khura'in, the Divination Séance is the process of calling upon the spirit of a murder victim to witness their final moments through their eyes.

Spoiler: 6-5
And by this, we are able to solve the case of the fire and clear Dhurke of suspicion by calling for... the spirit of (Jove) Justice.

What? I thought the trailer did plenty enough already? "The WAA is in a crisis!!" as Apollo Aploplo walks off in emo-pirate fashion.

Sure, the actual showdown was a bit disappointing, but the premise was silly from the beginning.

I've known about this symbolism for a while, but when I played through the game, I didn't realize it at first.

Godot has 107 blends of coffee. That definitely seems like a lot, but it's also 1 less than 108. 108 is a number of great significance in the Buddhist karmic circle of retribution and often times is the final count of hardships and temptations across a long and arduous journey that is life. That Godot was missing the "whole" by just one actually adds to his character and the role he plays as antagonist.

I hope in the aftermath of T&T he finally made a 108th blend. It would probably be a humblingly bitter yet deep and rich flavor, to honor the trecherous yet enlightening journey Phoenix made since his rookie days.

Now that's what I call the "Wright Blend".

I wouldn't call this obvious but, I've realized that in that one DD cutscene, Athena is holding Clay's jacket a little after Apollo throws it.

It's 15:15 on this video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5BYIRnXVLKI

Good that they didn't just leave it on the floor, I guess. Or maybe she picked it up in the air?

It's Drew Misham's signature on his coffee mug. I always saw it as a random line because I don't think I've ever examined it in detail before.

This one I figure is totally coincidental, but it's nice to look for similarities.

I also notice that she doesn't have that pose in the present, I guess Phoenix removed that out of her. Thank goodness. Can you imagine if she were like Zak?

Rubia: Always taking after current daddy-o :3
SC: Phew. Like Edgeworth not doing creepy von Karma fingerwag anymore. Zak-like Trucy soundsincredibly scary.

There's a cactus in the Wild West section of Gatewater Land in I-3 that was donated by the police. Hmmm...

How did I not realise it was Billy?
