After all Phoenix put her through in GS3 she actually hired him out of college. That had to be an akward job interview.

Given that he helped her solve two different incidence at the same time, and that he was something of a loser, she probably had some pity for the guy. So when he showed up at her office looking for a job three years later, she probably saw him as a good partner in her crackdown on DL-6 and her mother's reputation... or at least, someone she could help in her spare time or something. >_>;

I don't think Phoenix had sex with Mia. I think he did somthing else besides that. He has shown some affection for Mia, but I don't think it would be full blown sex. Sorry for raining on your parade, but I think it would be somthing like this:
