Their relationship is one of the most adorable in the series (rivaled only by Phoenix and Maya's friendship) even though (at least to me) I can't see it as romantic in the slightest. They're so awesome together, and so totally brother and sister even if not by blood.
I don't remember where I found this picture, but it's so very sweet and so very THEM.

And yeah, Fran/Miles is as incomprehensible to me as Maya/Phoenix- though this could be attributed to the fact that no-one's ever presented a strong defense for the pairing(s).

Same here, I actually find the whole "siblings <--> romance" thing a bit uncomfortable. I mean Phoenix and Maya have this brother/sisterly thing going on too, just like Fran and Miles.
My absolutely favourite thing about Fran/Miles is that Fran considers Miles her younger brother. So cute!
Speaking of the Von Karma siblings though, I wonder if we'll ever see the older sister in a game? Or... Perhaps even her daughter!

Ahahaha, pretty much. One of my favorite relationships in the series, with one of my favorite displays of love in the series. But the romantic pairing is a frothing mass of do not want. (Though, to be fair, I do think there is a bit more wiggle room on the part of Franziska's feelings for Edgeworth than the other way around, despite her being the one to throw around "little brother".)

Miles would have been a fixture of Franziska's life, all her life. As for Miles, he was old enough in relation to her that he would have thought of her first as a baby, and that first identification would color how he saw her for the rest of his life. Maybe he wouldn't have identified her as strongly as a sibling, but he still would. And she would have never known him any differently.
So the hell what if they're not related by blood? Seriously? That doesn't mean that they don't see themselves as siblings, or that they wouldn't find the idea of a sexual relationship with each other repulsive.

surasshu, that picture is amazing. Masterful, even. If anything, that picture shows how Edgeworth and Franziska are similar: They both have a dark side to them, or had a dark side, anyway.

Sadly, as far as I know, she never did any other with the both of them, although she has a whole lot of paintings/sketches of various characters on her blog. Well worth rooting through, and she even has a handy list with just the illustrations. But it's still a lot!

I adore how she's so closed off from everyone else, but around him she's willing to open up and show all her insecurities.
And then he knows her inside-and-out and is able to encourage and inspire her.
They're such a huge part of each other's lives and they've always been a huge part of each other's lives and they're so closely entwined it's beautiful.
And the fandom for them only increases my liking for them--Raelle's GORGEOUS fic just nailed their relationship and solidified my love for the von Karma siblings, and all the fanart (including the ones posted in this thread so far x3) is just adorable.

Digressing.
I love these guys. They are my favorite characters in the game and I love how they are so alike, but manage to compliment each other. She makes Edgey look kind and he makes her look gentle. They sort of make each other human.

I've fiddled around with it in my mind a tad, but I by no means can understand it doing well in a pairing poll.
There's just...no reason for them to be anything besides siblings. They're already adorable enough as siblings.
I don't see how "LET'S HOPE YOU SUCCEED CUZ IF YOU DON'T THEN UUUM BYE :'D" is romantic in the LEAST o.O
And I agree that the way they bring out sides of each other that nobody else gets to see is just love x3
