Yeah, as soon as I replied to that, it occurred to me that that might be the case.

Hey that's alot of characters :udgy: A Furio Tigre song would be funny :zenitora: :keiko:

I won't do any voices but I'll be watching from the sidelines like that annoying fly that keeps flying around the room and won't go away until you put aftersun lotion on :maya:

Tigre? I thought it was only gonna be the first game?
Hmm... that is allot of roles that need filling! I may have to work on some recording now that I figured out how to get the best quality sound from my mic and have been working on my singing. (Every Sunday at church lol)
Hmm... do I want to try out for everyone and see where it goes of just pick one to focus on...
I'll get some recording going once I'm feeling better. (I've been sick all day) >_<

Yes, it's only the first game, and Furio Tigre only has a small cameo in the opening number, August Day, which you can listen to here.

Just a reminder - as has been stated several times, the forums are really the best place to look for the latest news. That way you don't miss things like new songs. ^^

It's called the musical.
Really, everything is on the forums for the project.
It's gonna be animated so of course there will be visuals.

Now, everyone, let's carry a tone of respect here, please. A person asking whether or not there will be a video isn't looking for a snarky comeback.

Actually, the first art meeting will be held this Sunday to discuss planning of the animation and/or storyboarding process. If you're interested please check out this announcement and discussion on our forums. Leeness and ThePhantomOtaku are our awesome art heads.

Everyone involved in the project, I'm really sorry for my lack of involvement lately. My computer messed up in such a way that it was impossible for me to listen to Putfile without the whole thing shutting down, and so I sort of forget about it and then I ended up being really busy...I will be back, promise.

Greetings, people of Court Records!

I know this thread has been dead for over a year now, but rest assured, I am resurrecting it for a very good reason.

The entire project is being recast.

Yeah, you read that right. Every part is up for grabs. This was a necessary step in order to keep the project alive, and to produce the best final product we can. To quote from the official announcement:
Quote:
We realize that if we go through with this recast, the project MAY die. But if we don't recast, then it will DEFINITELY die. And all of us agree that we'd rather take any chance we have, and fight with every last bit of energy we can muster, than let this thing slowly putter out and fade into obscurity.

Part of the point of this recast is to get new talent involved with the project. Don't miss this opportunity to audition! You might be just what we're looking for.

Audition information is here. Auditions close February 16th - I apologize for the short notice.

Do you like conventions? Happen to be at ICON Science Fiction in Long Island, NY or at Animazement in North Carolina? Well prepare to have your minds blown...

THE PWM IS GETTING IS OWN PANEL.

You heard right, guys and dolls, we're having our own panel! Allow me to quote my good friend MaxwellsDeamon to giva y'all a little info (You could also click the link below, that works as well).

http://megalomaniacalme.net/pwmusical/v ... f=2&t=1752

MaxwellsDeamon wrote:
SO what our our plans? Well naturally to get as many people to come to those cons to show off what we've done so far, INCLUDING what will hopefully be our VERY FIRST FULLY ANIMATED (keyframed) SONG, WHAT WAT?!? yeah, that's right, and it's a world premier, which means there wont be ANY sneak-peaks until we go to those CONS. As for who is going? Well the Leaders are still trying to decide who will go to each, but be sure that Pleady, Diana, Shawni, Myself, Arri, and a few other people will be at one or the other (unless we can swing both, but I kinda forgot who said which they'd definitely be at, so everyone can sound off below).

Now all the information is a little up in the air for now, but as we get more info I WILL BE SURE TO MAKE SURE IT ENDS UP ON THIS MAIN POST (as well as in the comments)..

OH and as for which song we'll be animating? August Day! THATS RIGHT, BEGINNING TO END OF AUGUST DAY WILL SOON HAVE PICTARS TO GO WITH IT!

So when are these cons?
Well Icon is the first one, being April 15-18
ANimazement is May 28-30 (if memory serves me)

SO, LETS BE AWESOME!

RAWK OOOOOOOOOONNNNN

Rock on, indeed. <3

PWMusical changed their site domain name the other year. It can now be found here:- http://turnaboutmusical.myartsonline.com/

As to the original demo's I'm not sure but maybe there is info on their facebook page (there's a link to it on their site).

They closed the forums whilst they were preparing the final version of the full soundtrack (which is now available for download on their site minus 'Dawn of a New Trial' because they were trying to remix a few things) for release and as far as I'm aware they never opened them again.

Gonna commit thread necromancy because I've waited to see this musical come to fruition for years and I finally got the time to watch the multi-cam edit today.

The performance was fantastic, I couldn't be happier with how it came out. The singing was incredible, the casting was spot-on and the dialogue was quick and precise. I'm particularly impressed with how you were able to simplify the cases enough for the stage while sacrificing the bare minimum of the story. The sheer quality of this was amazing, and I couldn't be more happier, and thankful, for the people that put it together.

I've always liked to look at the different ways you can tell the story of the first game. The video game seems to focus on Phoenix's relations with Edgeworth while the original musical seemed to focus on Phoenix and Maya's relationship, as well as Phoenix's confidence as an attorney. This production took it a whole new direction, showing Phoenix's relations with all of his friends, not just one or two, and the epitome of this is that final song, a masterpiece.

I cannot thank everyone involved enough for making this production, as well as giving me a great amount of entertainment over the years.

Hey pals! It’s me again. I’m here to invite you to a new discord server for discussing Turnabout Musical!

If you have discord, simply follow this link to join us in the new Turnabout Musical discord!
https://discord.gg/mxGFmgH5My

Now, I know what you’re thinking. Am I really committing necromancy again just to plug our discord server? Well, HOLD IT! Can it really be called necromancy if the subject was never dead in the first place??

As evidence: Remember, we released the original soundtrack in 2015, then Nerdification recorded and released “Turnabout Musical LIVE!” in 2016. And there has been more new content since then!

Just last year, there was a new version of Dawn of a New Trial, again from Nerdification: https://youtu.be/Jj1B7UBs69I

Then there’s the new demos hibob7 and myself worked on:
https://youtu.be/rhxX2p8YJFY (Interlude ~ Keeping the Peace)
https://youtu.be/KDD1N09HMao (A Pal You Can Trust)

Even TriforceBun himself released a new arrangement of Justice For All: https://youtu.be/MiVElWUMXTw

So you see, you can’t use necromancy on this project because IT NEVER DIED! TAKE THAT!

Seriously though, we’d love you guys to come join us on our discord. Thanks and please don’t penalize me, judge. The defense rests. :phoenix:

PS: HAPPY ANNIVERSARY TURNABOUT MUSICAL!

Post subject:  Re: Phoenix Wright - The Musical [05/03: Do you know...]

Hello again, pals. I hope you'll continue to forgive this occasional thread necromancy. This forum and thread is where this show started, nearly 14 years ago.

I'm posting this time because there is a new milestone to share for this project! For the first time, an independent group has performed a complete adaptation of Turnabout Musical! It was performed by Albino Squirrel Productions as part of the Minnesota Fringe Festival. This version is shorter, just over 2 hours. There were a total of five(!) live performances at the Phoenix Theater(!!!) in Minneapolis. Huge thanks to Albino Squirrel Productions and the entire cast and crew, they put on a very lively and entertaining show!

I was fortunate enough to be able to make a trip to attend three performances of the show, and record a video of the final performance with help from hibob7(Max Dziabis) and another friend! I have released this video on YouTube as:

Turnabout Musical - Live at the Phoenix Theater

Please check it out, and be sure to come join our Discord! (Invite link in the video description)

The 14th anniversary of Turnabout Musical is coming up on November 24th(the day Ethed made this thread). We usually like to have some kind of evidence to present on anniversary dates when we can, just putting that out there. :phoenix:

Love to you all and long live PWMP!

My good pals,

I return again with another new version of our beloved show. This version is the biggest overhaul the show has ever received, with new orchestration(sheet music coming soon), a story streamlined for the stage and focused on emotional story beats, and loving nods to this project's history. It was created by The Maya Fey Protection Squad, a group which included PWMP alumni like myself, Arri, and Diana as well as amazing new talents that were crucial in reaching this show's vision. The audio was produced by Nerdification Media. We're really proud of what this show has become, and it all started here on these forums over 15 years ago.

Thank you to everyone who has ever contributed. There are multiple unique versions of this show now, and we are proud to circle around to add one more, and continue the tradition this project has always had of art, music, storytelling, and community.

Please enjoy our presentation of
"Turnabout: An Ace Attorney Musical!"

Act One

Act Two

Much love,
