Ah yeah, that's from the Leon Knig. Good movie.

Except the song is Sphere of Standing around

(Yes I know it's not that song but they both have 'sphere of' in the tittle)

Yeah, I realized that just now. It is a good movie. "The Leon Knig" reminds me of how we in Sweden have a fine tradition of referring to the king - "kungen" as "knugen". I don't know why that is.

Is the k silent in knug? Fun fact, originally words beginning with 'kn' had the k pronounced. But we became lazy so we're here today.

Sorry

I feel like that fact ties in pretty well with the sphere of standing around. Also, no, the k is pronounced. In Swedish the k in kn-words isn't silent, having to wrestle polar bears on a daily basis we can't afford to be lazy :simon:

Oh, and I remembered another dream. Vera Misham was confirmed to be trans, in the same way, I thought, as Dumbledore is gay, that is, canon as stated by "Word of God" but never referred to in the work itself.

Neato! So what's your record?

That is,the record for most number of polar bears you've brutally murdered? And how does it compare to that of the number of polar bears you've simply won against? Being Swedish must be hard. No wonder Pewdiepie keeps leaving. I'm not sure if he'd be up to this

I know I wouldn't

I'm still half asleep so I'll hav' tuh come back later, but first...

I got a new request on my fanfic blog on tumblr from an anon for my ask meme, where I write silly ficklets but keep everyone as in-character as possible. (This has been happening irl a lot lately.) This time, it asked for a fic where Phoenix and Edgeworth were trapped in a room somewhere and it may have been Maya's fault. I don't remember the rest of it, but somehow the fic I wrote led to them having an escape-the-room adventure and all the while trying to but failing to avoid situations ripe for gay jokes.

Rayfa studied up on her science. She was so proud to state how ev'rything is dictated by the law of thermodynamics. I, taking on Ema's personality, wanted to correct her that the law she should have been referring to is "conservation of energy", but now that I think it over, maybe she was talking about the 2nd law.

Ray Shields visited Khura'in and was pleased to meet her. I'm n't sure, but I got the impression he was tutoring her on something.

Also, Larry was there. He too wanted to meet the princess, but I don't think things worked out since all I saw of him was his crying face.

Lastly, Phoenix was bragging about how he's a "solid meme killer" but I replied that he was just a "small machine killer".

And then something about the internet being for porn

No, I don't even remember his three finger plan (yet I watched said movie yesterday, but it wasn't memorable), but at the end of the movie he

had gotten himself sentenced to death because of it,

so I think Apollo's is the way to go.

Hahaha, I would have almost-jumped too!

When I watched that movie with a buddy yesterday I pretended that I had to reply to an important text message that couldn't wait until after the movie, when I, in reality, texted GfM to quote it.

No dreams for me *glares at a friend of mine who had decided to pull an all-nighter even though he knew that I was going to need to sleep to have the energy to hang out with two other friends the day after, and since he doesn't live in my city I couldn't exactly go home and sleep* , but after that night of terrible sleep I at least had vanilla latte in GfM's hometown (like I had in their dream where I had visited café Retinz) before I was meeting friends in said town, hopefully this will induce stuff. And if it doesn't, well, it tasted great, even though I wished it had been from Retinz' café.

So confused. Currently am unable to distinguish reality from dreams. Oh well let's go

CR got mad at me and triple banned me because I said something weird,I entered a hotel but it was also a school and college,I saw the school festival, and also I somehow nearly got expelled shoot

Also just remembered that the mods were playing this weird shark game where they tried to kill each other. Dunno why. Maybe it's because of 'Orca'? It's a stretch, but that's all I can come up with.

WG: Something about getting someone to give all they have to you. No, I doubt that would happen to Apollo. He just sentences Klavier to "the little death".
Yes, I think he just stood around doing nothing at all.
And eh, that's impolite. Disrespectful, almost. You don't just "decide to pull an all-nighter" if you have a guest that wants to sleep.
But I'm glad the vanilla latte-dream came true... kind of.

SC: Aouch, I wonder what one would have to do in order to get triple-banned.

---
Flashing image of Apollo in the white room smoking a hookah. Oh dear, I bet he misses smoking stuff while in there.
Nurse Resident was talking about some hypothesis that extracting a molecule from something or someone, and one molecule from something/someone else (might have been the same person/thing but in different dimensions or timelines... in that case then this is what happens when you watch a let's play of Ever17 before going to bed) and then merge them you'd get one molecule containing pretty much all information possible. Ahe said something about "common knowledge" too, like things that both Aura and Apollo would know how to do, "like autographing" Aura said. And Apollo asked them to "please tell me" about what the heck it was that had just happened to him, with the blood and that, so that's a cliffhanger...

Mhm, that's what I thought as well. "But you're allowed to sleep, of course!" Gee, thanks dude, because it's so comfortable to sleep when someone else's awake in the same room, no privacy. At least I let him now that I found it impolite and well, yeah, almost disrespectful.

That sounds really interesting! Ah, I like nurse Resident, or rather, she intrigues me. I tried to make you dream about White Room before I went to bed, haha, like "white room, Apollex, white room!" :-P

Looking forward to get to know what that was all about.

Another thing I had been thinking of, regarding the White Room-dreams, what a damn dissonance the blood-one was - had been mighty much of one if you had had "regular" dreams like that before it, but after the silly faces and cranes and such it was rather...

---

Nahyuta just... standing around.

Retinz and Polecat in a bed together. But no need to fear, it wasn't anything like that. They were both fully dressed, it just so happened that they had had an incredibly booze-filled night and pretty much crashed in Roger's bed when they were too drunk to function properly. It wasn't stated, but in the dreamlet I kinda took for granted that they had been hanging out at Retinz' café until it closed, then went to some pub for drinks, and then to Roger's house for even more alcoholic beverages. It looked chill and buddy-buddy.

There was this guy, or rather, old man. I have a memory of him
Spoiler: SoJ-5
working for Amara, and maybe her children, not sure, at least I think he worked for Yuty too... So probably Rayfa as well.

He designed clothes and created perfumes, and he had a make-up brand and was also a jewelry designer. Pretty much everything that had to do with beauty and decorating oneself. He probably created a lot of these things for aforementioned people, I think he even lived with them now and then. He was a really cool old man. He always took pictures of the make-up when it was used, so one could see how it would shine and how much pigment it was in the eyeshadows and lipsticks etc. And the model was himself. He looked stunning, like a really beautiful and elegant old lady, when he used the make-up. Without it he looked like a sweet old man. He had also created a small pool of water, and in it he had put gorgeous shining gemstones, "shining like stars, like gemstones, like diamonds", the water reflected them beautifully and many people who had seen it had said, completely honestly, that it "literally was the most beautiful thing they had ever seen".

Hah... Nurse Rez, since you're standing up... (No, thinking about it, I seem to remember her and Aura sitting on the bed while Apollo was on the floor by the window.) Please Aura, take him for coffee and hookah/weed/firtwigs/vaping/cigarettes/all of the above when you get out of there.

Hm, well if dreams are anything to go by (in this thread? no way!), I dreamed once that he was in the WAA office to let Apollo hear the newest song he had written (I almost wrote "wroted" there for some reason), Tide reminds me bursting thirst to get laid, lalala... So I'll assume he does.

Hopefully stickfigure will include an epilogue like that once it has wrapped all of this up. And Aura seems like the kind of person who would enjoy to smoke a hookah, ja?

Yeah, since we already got the "researching travelling distance between bodies and their fluids" it seems rather unconventional.

Gut. This along with what the two of us said outside of this thread a while ago, namely that Nahyuta's dad would get Polecat a whole lotta shots at Nahyuta's wedding ("Hup! Cheers, boy!"), has now given me the impression that Polecat can take quite a bit of booze, more than one might initially assume considering his fairly small stature.

Happy Birthday to the Nerdy Owl! May you remain nerdy yet wise.

I really want to catch up on this thread, but I'll have to get to it later. First, dream report.

I think I had some inkling of someone being falsely accused. I don't know who it was, but I felt personally attacked for some reason. I think Phoenix may have shown up as a figment for a moment, but he quickly vanished. Then, I saw Klavier looking rather chill. I don't know if he was on the case or just tangentially involved in it. I had the impression I may have been Apollo, since I felt short in comparison to him. (Well, he is a tall guy and I'm close to Apollo's height. Just a bit under, actually.)

He usually does :klavier: (I played first court of 4-2 today, it was so... calm, to have a prosecutor that when he does intervene and argues against us what he has to say is actually relevant and well-thought out rather than just "the defense is wrong and stupid... 'cause")

That's good. Being Apollo is good. (But not that tall! He's just 1.80, after all. But yeah, still quite a bit more than Polly... and you :3)

I drew Nurse Resident today (I like drawing people that appear in my dreams). So I thought I'd upload it here, it won't hurt anybody ^^ If nothing else, WG will probably care, because he said he was intrigued by her, and if he doesn't care he'll have to pretend to care :athena:

Haha! x3 Well, I do care. :-P Ooh, I like the drawing, she looks really cool! I imagined her being a bit older and with darker, shorter hair. (If you've described her appearence before I apologize for being forgetful haha.) So nice to have a face to her! :will:

Haha, good, I don't know what that disclaimer was for, really. And thankya! Nope, her hair is like, reddish blond. (And I haven't)

Sounds like this one, disregarding "bad". Cool and good and awesome and sweet fanfic :godot: Poor cow :sadshoe:

In his late teens, Apollo started a club for discussing books by Jack London and music by Händel... or "Händelman", that the dream insisted on calling him.

White room-dream...but my memories are a bit hazy. Apollo was trying to peek through the side of the door, and could see that outside was a large, bright corridor with a space looking a bit like a waiting room. Two children were there, I think they were on their way out. Resident had left the room, but right as he was looking through the door she suddenly appeared right in front of it (Edit: ...on the outside, I mean. otherwise it'd been one hell of a jumpscare). Roaring. She wasn't serious with it, though. At one point Apollo was crying, but I don't know why. I don't know whether that was explained in the dream, either.

Edit: Took a nap, fell into a light sleep while in an extremely stubborn mind, demanding an explanation for the blood thing. Eventually this dreamlet fell into my lap and it managed to explain... quite a few things, actually.
Aura and Apollo are sitting on the side of the bed. It seemed like Apollo, just like me, had demanded an explanation.
Aura: Look at the ceiling. You see the lights? [There are blue lights that were on, tinting the entire room in blue, in a couple of dreams way back] They're radiating lights. They radiate into your veins, drawing blood. Of course, the blood needs somewhere to go where it can be collected, like a bucket. So, your stomach.
Apollo: Why?
Aura: Because they need the blood. I said it before: "they make bleeding people".
Apollo: And your "bleeding robots"...?
Aura: Got nothing to do with this.
Apollo: But how come you don't...?
Aura: Haven't you understood it yet? Why you're wearing that outfit.
Apollo: But this doesn't make sense, scientifically. (Honestly, I'm not sure whether those were his own words or if he was speaking for the aware part of my mind)
Aura: Do you think they care?
Apollo: But how does that even work?
Aura: Don't ask me. I'm not a doctor, and I'm not a researcher. Not a human-researcher, in any case. They've got it covered. You should ask Resident when she comes back with your change of clothes.
Apollo: I don't want to ask her. Did I destroy their research? When I kicked the bucket. And threw the duvet out. I removed the blood.
Aura: ...
Apollo: So the things I've been given to drink here... [Miso soup, minty coffee, a glass of something after the blood was gone from his stomach] What did it contain?
Aura: Don't ask me. Don't ask me these things. But whatever they give you, you better take it. Or you'll bleed out.
Apollo: I feel dizzy. I don't want to be here anymore. Even less than before, I mean. I want to go home.
Aura: We're working on it, you and me. I'm not leaving. We'll figure something out. Chin up and spirits up, Apollo.
Apollo (clinging to Aura's arm): Unngghh. Aura, I...
Aura: Yeah?
Apollo: Help me.
Aura: I am helping you. To the best of my abilities. We'd better start taking this seriously. Coming up with a plan, I mean. A plan that will work. We might only get one shot at it.
(......Ack! I've run out of snide comments!)

Apollo had bought a fedora in a second hand store. The cashier... was also Apollo. Then there were some shenanigans. Apollo Buyer had some problem with the fedora, so he sent Apollo Cashier an e-mail. Apollo Cashier replied to Apollo Buyer. One of them was pretty impolite, I'm quite certain it was Apollo Buyer. Apollo Cashier didn't approve, and they had some mail conversation until everything got resolved, and Apollo Buyer got pleased with his fedora.

These two guys might have been Godots aides in a way, don't know for what, but their names were Hengeke Malefentagi and Lengeke Malefentagi. They looked pretty much exactly the same, like identical twins - tall, rather muscular, reddish hair, I think they had freckles. But they weren't related. Hengeke was the slightly smarter one, while Lengeke was the funny, ditzy one. They seemed quite charming. "But Lengeke dies!" I thought, being all "noo!" Phew. No, it wasn't Lengeke. I just mixed it up with a character from some book.

Gumshoe was interviewing junkies because the usage of heroin was rising. First he talked to Tommy from Trainspotting, but it was very hard for him to talk to him. It was obvious to Gumshoe that Tommy was such a nice young man, and here he was, a shell of a person, heroin had became his life. Then Gumshoe talked to Renton from Trainspotting, and Renton served as "the only sane man" out of the junkies Gumshoe talked to. He was no-bullshit, kept it real and had a really sensible attitude. Then a little timeskip, and it was after Tommy's funeral.
Gumshoe: Were you high when you attended to your friend's funeral?
Renton: Only half the high [as in he had taken 50% of what he usually pumped in his veins]
So I still get tears in my eye
When I watch how morons die

He didn't mean that Tommy was a moron per se, but he was sad and enraged that Tommy, happy, healthy Tommy, ended up as a heroinist just like himself and most of their other friends.

"It would be neat if [GfM] dreamed that they were Nurse Resident, so they could know what Resident knows, think and speak like Resident thinks and speaks, and to see Apollo when Resident speaks to him."

I was some chill dude in charge of collecting information from the dreams - they got sent to me by the characters that had any gossip to share - so all in all, most of the dreams are gossip or anecdotes. "It's like 'hey bro, I've got some gossip to share'." It was a bit like a television show.
"Let me demonstrate", I said, and I called up Retinz, who pretty recently had had some gossip, for a video conversation. We were quite the buddy-buddies, that's why I chose to call him. "Hey, R! Have any gossip to share?"
"Not yet, I'm afraid! I'll come back to you."
"Alright, hehe. Thanks for helping me with the demonstration!"
"No problem. Hang loose, baby."

Reus was sitting by a table in a psychiatric hospital, which looked exactly like those I've been too earlier in my life looked like. He was wearing the same clothes too, white shirt and blue sweatpants. It was dinner time, and he sat and fibbled with coins and made magic tricks with them. "Gah", he said, "since they changed the coin-designs it takes some time to get used to for me, and make the coin tricks look better."
Gimme a "P"! Gimme an "I"! Give me a "P" and an "E"! What's that spell?! Pipe!

I dunno what I dreamed, but I think I was in a merry band of misfits on a mission to infiltrate a university overrun by an alien race that was rumored to have brainwashed everyone into becoming enslaved to their cause. Also, they couldn't see the color green, so our war machine had a green shield to disguise it.

Anyway, every time a reference to a video game / anime would crop up - Super Mario, Pokemon, One Piece, escape-the-room style games, among others I don't remember clearly - I'd ask Subby, "Where's my Ace Attorney?" And each time Subby would ignore me. But I was persistent. I kept demanding for it and eventually Subby must have been fed up and gave me a quick scene of court where Edgeworth was mocking Phoenix. It felt like one of those moments when the player would pick a wrong answer and was completely out of context.

Okay, I'm back. Is it just me or are the pages for this thread wonky? I keep seeing posts show up in the bachground.

...That was a typo but it looks fancy and I'm keeping it.

A lot of people seem to end up in Sweden through magic.

It's a fickle ficlet, as in a short fanfic that keeps changing its destination because it's always being rewritten. It's my own typo creation. I'm so proud.

Lastly, Phoenix was bragging about how he's a "solid meme killer" but I replied that he was just a "small machine killer".

Hahaha aww, let your daddy dearest keep his illusions :hobohodo:

One of these days, he's going to have to realize he's a meme himself. I'm not sure how's best to put it, though.

Ohh, that gal is on a quest for knowledge.

She must have been curious to know why Yuty was so interested in Ema's investigations and got hooked.

Flashing image of Apollo in the white room smoking a hookah. Oh dear, I bet he misses smoking stuff while in there.

He's so burned out.

Ahe said something about "common knowledge" too, like things that both Aura and Apollo would know how to do, "like autographing" Aura said.

Aura does autographs? Hmm... I can see it. I bet she gets loads of fans.

And Apollo asked them to "please tell me" about what the heck it was that had just happened to him, with the blood and that, so that's a cliffhanger...

The plot blood thickens.

Nahyuta just... standing around.

Oh, no, he's insisting.

And the model was himself. He looked stunning, like a really beautiful and elegant old lady, when he used the make-up.

Edgier and raunchier Klavier.

Dammit. I just read this as "Edgey-er and raunchier Klavier".

I got a new request on my fanfic blog on tumblr from an anon for my ask meme, where I write silly ficklets but keep everyone as in-character as possible. (This has been happening irl a lot lately.)

I keep expecting Edgeworth to turn up in a chef's outfit in one of my dreams because of those. :will:

Thanks for following them. Every time I look at my inbox, I'm overwhelmed by the amount of support I get for them... and how much work I still have left.

I'm sure I had a dream the other day, but I can't remember it now. :sadshoe: I also need to catch up with this thread properly at some point.

Take your time. We're always waiting for Godot old friends to pass by again.

I think Phoenix may have shown up as a figment for a moment, but he quickly vanished.

"Hey, did my job, bye."

If he keeps this up, I am going to swat him.

They see me roll on, my Segway!
I know in my heart they think I'm
wise n' nerdy!
Can't you see I'm wise and nerdy
Look at me I'm wise and nerdy

I feel it is now obligatory for us to play this whenever Nerdowl returns.

That's good. Being Apollo is good.

How many of us have been Apollo now? GfM, of course, and I think WfG was him once before, and now me...

I drew Nurse Resident today (I like drawing people that appear in my dreams). So I thought I'd upload it here, it won't hurt anybody ^^ If nothing else, WG will probably care, because he said he was intrigued by her, and if he doesn't care he'll have to pretend to care :athena:

Her hair reminds me of Mia in a way... but sadly, I don't think she's nearly as cool. Then again, Mia is one of the highest standards in my book.

In his late teens, Apollo started a club for discussing books by Jack London and music by Händel... or "Händelman", that the dream insisted on calling him.

THE Händelman.

White room-dream...but my memories are a bit hazy. Apollo was trying to peek through the side of the door, and could see that outside was a large, bright corridor with a space looking a bit like a waiting room. Two children were there, I think they were on their way out.

These dreams are making me wonder if the "lab" where the white room is located is actually a hospital / psychiatric ward. It's a mix of creepy but intriguing, and now I wonder what really happened to Apollo that got him here in the first place.

Aura: I am helping you. To the best of my abilities. We'd better start taking this seriously. Coming up with a plan, I mean. A plan that will work. We might only get one shot at it.

Apollo, this isn't how buying and selling your own stocks works.

Rozencrantz and Guildenstern?

"It would be neat if [GfM] dreamed that they were Nurse Resident, so they could know what Resident knows, think and speak like Resident thinks and speaks, and to see Apollo when Resident speaks to him."

Good on you, Rubia. Today's lesson is that stubbornness does pay off.

I suppose it does. It's how I got Phoenix to stop pretending to be a merman and eventually got him to stop waking me up by train whistles, and maybe also to show up when I ask for him. Now I just need him to not just vanish as soon as I try to talk to him. Rude.
