I like Makoto because I think her character design is awesome, and her personality sounds interesting. I haven't played GS4 yet, but what little I have read (I'm trying to remain relatively spoiler free), she seems really intriguing.
Plus, I could see her appearing in future installments of the series. She could even do artistic renderings of future cases. (Note: This is just baseless speculation, I know nothing of the outcome of her character in GS4. It's not based on any spoilers.)
