for the characters you listed...
:garyuu: kris-TOF
:gipsy: her japanese name is in katakana that says "ra-mi-ro-a", so I pronounce it lah-mee-ROY-ar. seems to make sense.
:pencil: DAH-ry-en
:Maki: is definitely MAH-kee, as suggested by his japanese name in katakana. his lastname in japanese is to-baa-yu, I have no idea how that should go in english..
:doodle: i always thought was VER-ah...
Magnifi - i seem to pronounce it "Magnify" (as in the verb).... but maybe i'm just weird
LeTouse - leh-TOW-ss (as in car towing)

Hm... looking at this makes me feel like I'm pronouncing all of their names wrong. When in doubt, I automatically use French phonetics, so yeah...

Kristoph Gavin - Krist-off Gahv-en
Klavier - Klahv-ee-yay (My Canadian logic: Klavier = Clavier, which is French for keyboard)
Ema - Ehm-uh (the same way you'd pronounce Emma)
Olga Orly - Oll-guh Or-lee (her name is a reference to ORLY, but since it's Orly I pronounce it normally. Plus it fits better with her first name)
Romein LeTouse - Rohm-mayn Luh-tooss (Romaine Lettuce, but I pronounce his last name the French way)
Lamiroir - Lah Meer-rwar (in my head, at least. When I try to say it out loud it comes out as 'lammy wahr')
Machi Tobaye - Mah-shee Toh-by-yay
Daryan Crescend - Dahr-yan Kres-shend
Valant Gramarye - Vah-lant Grah-mahr-yee or Grah-mahr-yay
Vera Misham - Vee-ruh Mish-um

And because I have time to waste, let's see how Microsoft Sam pronounces them:

Kristoph Gavin - Kris-toff Gah-vune ('une' like the French word)
Klavier - Klah-vaye-er (rhymes with 'fire')
Ema - Ay-muh
Olga Orly - All-guh Or-lee
Romein LeTouse - Rom-in Lee-towse
Lamiroir - Lah Meer-wahr
Machi Tobaye - Mack-aye Toh-bay (um...)
Daryan Crescend - Dayr-ee-yen Kreh-send
Valant Gramarye - Vahl-int Grah-mahr-ee
Vera Misham - Vee-ruh May-son (... wot?)

Oh yeah, forgot one. In my head, Valant = VAH-lahnt usually, or sometimes Vah-LANT. (As in a French pronounciation. Valant would roughly translate to something like "worth", am I right?)
I sometimes think "Klah-vee-AY" in my head too, since that's how I pronounced it when I first saw it.

:yuusaku: I'm actually not a fluent speaker of French...

But as far as I know 'valant' isn't a French word (though it sounds like it should be). You're probably thinking of 'valeur' (value) or 'valoir' (to be worth...). You do bring up a good point, though. Even if it isn't a word in French it probably is a similar-meaning word in another language. Could be useful for his bio page on the main CR site.

Hmm...are you sure? I'm preeeettty sure it's a word...you could say, for example..."Un diamant valant 2 millions de dollars" ; "A diamond worth 2 million dollars". That would make sense...I think? (I've been in french immersion for about 8.5 years...plus the online translator translates it as "being worth" =P) I wonder if that actually has anything to do with his name, though?

Lamiroir was from northern Europe, was she not? And if I recall correctly, some picture had something looking like Cyrillic letters, so I thought some French-like pronounciation was out, and I went with the simplest, just splitting up the written syllabels: La-mi-ro-ir

In German, äu is is prnounced like "oy" I believe, so that's Froylin (With the R like in German, not like in English).

Ja is simpel, "ya".

The "ch" in Achtung is prnounced like J is in Spanish, if that helps. "tung" is something like "toong".

As for Klavier, I always thought it'd be "KLAY-vee-ur". But apparently it's a German word or something, and I know jack about German pronunciation, so I'm probably wrong.

I'm conflicted on Lamiroir, but I'd say "LAM-ih-roar" or "LAM-ee-roar".
