Hmmm...I find this shipping pretty interesting, although I don't really ship it as of now.
Right now, I don't know if Apollo and Ema have much of a personal connection right now, except that they both worked under Phoenix. But hey, I could be proven wrong.
If I could be converted to a HUGE Phoenix/Maya fan, hey, maybe someone can convince me this pairing could work.

I ship them as good bro's/drinking buddies and I ship them as romantic interest!
I think if they ever had more interaction they could definitely become good friends and maybe more! I'm sure, while Ema can be a bit dodgy and silly, Apollo appreciates her help and her smarts about things. And I'm sure Ema likes that Apollo is willing to ask her for science help and do experiments with her at the crime scenes.
And I'm sure they can bond over their annoyance of Klavier together. uwu
