Sorry Kyle, but you can be kinda...umm...mean?

A lot of people seem to prefer Phoenix since Kyle is so mean, but I think that's what makes him so likeable. He's cold at the beginning and then turns into a softie.

I have to choose?! D:

Okay, okay... I'd choose Phoenix. I played the series for about four years, so it's like I grew up with him... Yeah. Phoenix over Kyle. XP

Hmm, depends. I like Nick overall since, well, he's just more entertaining. But Kyle has the better character. You just kind of want to dig deeper into his past.

now i going put my self as:

I prefer Hyde. As much as Phoenix is lovable, that's his only character trait - the underdog protagonist we've seen in loads of games/shows/movies before. Hyde on the other hand, has a real attitude and you can tell it's not a cheap character trait. He's been through a hell of a lot and that's why he acts the way he does.

Well put! Hyde has definitely went through a lot, and he's all the more cooler for acting the way he does.

But Phoenix vs. Hyde based purely on looks, I'd go with Hyde.
I can't say for personality or game since I haven't played Phoenix Wright.

Kyle Hyde! Nothing against Nick.. He's a good character and all. But Kyle was just always my favorite out of the two.

Plus I like the art in Hotel Dusk much more than in Ace Attorney, so that probably makes me a little biased, but whatever~

Both Kyle and Phoenix have a great sense of humor. I mean, it's more of a sarcastic and ironic kind of humor.

But between the two I choose Kyle, simply because he's more shady and blue than the happy-go-lucky Feenie.

Besides, I like it when Kyle is mean.

I love Phoenix, but I'm going to have to go with Kyle on this one. He is too awesome, and I love his rugged, surly handsome ex-cop look. :)

You're right - is defenitely the coolest character in the AA series, but I still think Kyle beats him.

No competition for me, Phoenix wins. I'm basing this on who I'd personally like to know as a person. Kyle is cool and all, but I dunno if I'd necessarily get on with him. Phoenix is a goofball, I know we would be good friends

I guess Summer has a large build, so Kyle calls him a blimp...? Strange wording, but hilarious nonetheless.

They have their own pros and cons, of course. And it depends on the situation.

Kyle does better case work, but Phoenix has a flair for the dramatic; even if he doesn't want a part of it.

Personally, I prefer Kyle, as he's more realistic.

Some time ago, I would be all "LOL WTF PHOENIX IS DA SHIT 'CAUSE HE BEATS EVR1 IN DA COURTROM" but seriously, as much as I like Phoenix, I have to admit Kyle is better. His character, his personality, it's way more "real" than Phoenix's. Wright is a very "noble" and "hero-like" type of guy, the kind of guy we find every 1 out of 30, and sorry for the way I'm going to put this, but it's too "mainstream". Kyle, even if he does have a heart of gold deep inside, is way off the "hero standards" what with his "I hate life" way of living. It makes him sound much more like a normal guy, and it's way easier to relate to him without stretching.

All in all, Kyle beats Phoenix, but Phoenix beats every other character.
