And while it's nothing fancy, I figured I might as well share my own Investigations cosplay too. I'm a HUGE Ema Skye fan, so when my friend text messaged me that she was included in the the new game I freaked out. I wore this costume last Otakon and it was a blast. I hope to make another new AAI costume for this summer as well (as part of Trickssi's group awwwyeah >XD).

Isn't she amazing? I freaked out the first time I saw her photo while browsing. Her face looks a little airbrushed/ smoothed out in a way, but I swear it's as though she literally walked out of the game. I was astounded! I'm glad to hear you both enjoyed the photos as well :D

Isn't that Rhoda seriously awesome? I only wish she had more photos of that costume uploaded to her account! There's actually another Rhoda cosplayer I have saved (she partner cosplayed with the Cammy I posted) but I can't get over the original one up there. Especially that smile and HAIR/WIG. ;A; So fantastic.
And thank you guys so much... seriously. ;_; It's incredibly kind of you, and makes me really happy that fellow Ace Attorney fans think my Ema cosplay can pass. What's really dorktastic is that I still use the robot purse I made for that costume XD It's just so cute! I-I can't help myself haha.

Well, with whatever fabric you're using, I... think you could probably just starch it. Or something. But glue on all the blue trim first. It's not a must, but I think it'd be easier to do it that way. <--- just me
The top of the hat, just cut the shape out that will fit in, making sure it would fit the dip in the hat. The trick for that would be to cut extra around it(like you would if you were sewing - what the devil is it calle- SEAM ALLOWANCE that's it) but notch it towards the inside and fit it into the hat. Then just glue it.
...I think.
