I play the games... Everyday so I'm trying to get the feel of them into this project.I got a new background in, and since i'm such a spoiler whore, here's a sneak peek at the picture.
Yeah, I know I packed it with people. But this is what it'll look like when you investigate in the next case... It'll be less crowded though.

The next Background is done. And with that we can start work on the first day of the second case when the second part of Checkmate and Turnabout is done.

As you'v seen in the first case of Checkmate and Turnabout, The Evidence I made, isn't all that great. I'm better at making people I guess. I'm NOT looking for edits, I'm looking for Original work.

When you open Checkmate and Turnabout 1-1.zip, there is a folder "Checkmate and Turnabout"
Open the PyWright folder, and drag the "Checkmate and Turnabout" folder from winrar onto "games". It will extract into PyWright/games so that you now have:
PyWright/games/Checkmate and Turnabout
You should then be able to run PyWright.exe, and choose Checkmate and Turnabout from the game list.
(Note that there is another folder inside "checkmate and turnabout" also called "checkmate and turnabout". You want the FIRST one, which contains art, music, sfx, a textfile etc to be in PyWright/games. Don't do anything with the folder inside)

I’ve come to give a report on what’s been happening. I’d like to say the second part of Checkmate and Turnabout is finished, but it isn’t. FerdieLance promised he’d get whatever he could done and send it to me in a week. … That was over a month ago. Ferdie just disappeared, and I don’t know why. We only had one more cross examination to work on, a few more little things with a ‘surprise’ waiting and that was it.
Since I don’t know when he’ll come back, and this is unfortunate, I’m going to have to drop FerdieLance from the project. With that said, I’m now looking for help again. If anyone wants to give a hand and help finish this, please drop me a line. More then half the case has been finished so there’s not a whole lot to work on.
Saluk- I may need your help with the ‘certain something’ in the game. Ferdie told me you helped him with it and I may need your insight on how things work.
So if you think you can help, drop me a line Via PM.

I've played the demo, and I liked it a lot! It's realy almost like capcom made it(if their the ones who make these games, that is).
There was just one thing that bothered me...
If Maya would have to fill in for Phoenix, she'd call Mia.

First off, Checkmate and Turnabout is almost done! With a few more scene's left to do, thanks to Tap, we might get the the first case done, before the month is over, so... Huzzah. It's gonna be a great second half, so remember to replay the first half of Checkmate and Turnabout. You might need to.
Second, I'm slowly getting the second episode "Highschool Turnabout" started. The script to the investigation is done. all i need is to get some character sprites done , get the sprites animated, and commission some folks at DA for some more pics. With that said, the next episode may come out faster then we can all hope for. I won't make promises though, so just say tuned.
EDIT: I'll ask for people to Beta test soon, so if you want in, send me a PM to reserve. I'll have two spots open, besides Ping.

I actually tried to do that, But for some reason when I tried to play the .wav file on the sound editor "Audacity" It wouldn't play at all.
It's okay though. I played around with the Objection.wav from Court records and got rid of the Ting noise as best I could.

I fixed it by opening the file in MAGIX Music Maker (or any sound-editing software will do) and saving it as a new .wav file. No editing, just re-saving it. Worked just fine afterwards.

There's a good reason for the title name. You'll just have to wait and see, what it'll mean then.
If you decide to use PWLib, I can help with tips and info as needed.
Unfortunatly, PWLib is too complicated for me to use. I don't have to know how on using script type game program like that. I don't know if i'd be able to understand that stuff. Though if there's an easy to understande method, i'm all ears.
I think I need to find a Voice actor for Lt. Prosecutor Hawk, and have him make me a voice file saying OBJECTION. I already have some for Maya.

Ping pretty much gave me his report saying it was bug free. I fixed the grammar issues he mentioned and am about to play test the whole thing myself, one more time.

After one last test run, I decided to release the game tonight!
The conclusion to Checkmate and Turnabout! Check the front page and you'll find it under the first half of the case.

It was a long time coming, but I'm glad to get this out to all of you. I've already started work on the next case Trials after Justice case "High School Turnabout". So look foreword to that soon!

Yaaaaaaay, finished! Commenting on the second half... McQueen had a very strong personality, hmm-hmmm... His and Phoenix's sprites were both good. I also liked including the chess stuff in it ^^
