Nintendo Direct is happening tonight. Ya never know what to expect from these events. We could get some teasings for Layton vs Ace Attorney... Or not. I'm currently away from my computer, so if someone could compile the times for the shows, that's be appreciated. Otherwise I'll do it myself once I get to my computer whenever.

Well, my money's on not, but I'll provide a heads-up if there is any word.

Looking for the latest AA5 trailers or the PLvsAA OST?

I will be away until May 22nd, and then with limited internet until the 27th.

So what is Nintendo Direct? Just another event or is there a theme to it?

It's a seemingly bi-monthly (not)-live stream. Nintendo Japan shows first, NOA has a show later that's Japan's but with subtitles, and then Europe gets their own unique show.

11:00pm ET, approximately 4.5 hours from this reply, Nintendo of Japan does their show.
11:30pm ET, approximately 5 hours from this reply, is when NOA does their stuff. Which, oddly enough, won't involve a video this time? Seems it'll be on FaceBook at Twitter.
7:00am ET, approximately 11.5 hours from this reply, NOE does their live stream. Can't find the URL oddly enough.

Capcom's teasing an 'unexpected title' for Famitisu. I'm fairly sure neither GS5 or PLvsAA qualify for that.
Nintendo's teasing some Kid Icarus stuff. Likely AR cards me thinks.
Some leaks about Mario Bros WiiU are popping up if the game shows, it could contain a bombshell about purchasing DLC if I was reading the last Nintendo investor meeting correctly.

Starting late, but I'll just type out what I see........

Mario Tennis Open coming in May.

Culdcept something. Apparently there's a 3ds-to-3ds thing or something?

'Pocket Soccer Ring' coming out in July.

Then there's an update for the 3ds that will let you make folders in the menu.

There will be more virtual console games. He mentioned Kingdom Hearts DDD, and one or two other games that I don't remember xP ...And now he's talking 'bout Kicarus. It looks like he's giving temps for greater mobility/speed. Club Nintendo is getting a CD (or a discount for it, maybe?)

In the new Fire Emblem DLC, there will be DLC where you get Marth and then Roy and then Leaf (that's what it sounds like, I don't know his English name)

He mentioned Monster Hunter 3G, but....

Now Final Fantasy Theathythm (and I'm starting to get a fair bit of lag ~_~)

Animal Crossing 3DS's name is "Tobidase: Doubutsu no Mori", to be released in the fall.

"New Super Mario Bros 2" for 3DS is coming out in August.

tl;dr version: Wait for someone to watch the English subbed version and post a report, because I'm sure that'll be much more accurate/informative than this xP

...There's also a neat-looking trailer for Rune Factory 4, coming out in July.

Basically, some Pokemon tie-in 3DSWare, a couple release dates, some more DLC talk for Fire Emblem, New Super Mario Bros 2. for 3DS, and game patches and folders in the next 3DS software update.

Also, NoA just tweeted that there'll be a Kirby compilation on the Wii.

I take it these are Japanese release dates you are posting rather than American or European announcements?

Nothing of great interest in the Europe show. Not totally unexpected, but still a bummer.

Poor Europe. We hardly ever catch a break, except for Kyle Hyde's amazing second (and final :larry: ) game, and a few other gems :maggy:

Apparently we did get more Rhythm Heaven/Paradise, though! :D

Nintendo of Europe seem a lot more brave than NOA, though.

NOA: "Adventure games won't sell."

NOE: "Beat the Beat gets English AND Japanese soundtracks!"

Brave? Yes. Smart? Lolnope (at least concerning Capcom). Apollo Justice was released before Trials and Tribulations :S

I love Nintendo for including the Japanese soundtrack in RP:BTB, though. About the late-ish release date...all is forgiven, Nintendo :maya:
