Finished up the rough sketch of Case 1, the beta-testing was totally random. Just as intended. The prosecutor turned out to be a killer, and the body wasn't even found! However, the autopsy report was made. And then a unicorn with a hat showed up.

The project is on a 1-week hiatus. However, the last time it was frozen like this, the pause lasted 3 months. So you'll have to wait for the Case 1 a little longer.

I've been told this project is on pernamant hold, what's worse, is that there's a presently-unfix-able game-breaking bug that prevents a select few (including me) from playing it. (This has made me very upset)

What's even worse is that the guy running the project is very stingy and refuses to let anyone help him or take over the project. I am highly doubtful he will fix it himself as well.

There is no hope for this project.

So... any recent progress updates? I've watched all the videos. This looks super-fun for Ace Attorney fans such as myself, as well as people not into AA who just want a fun trial RP system. I'm interested in seeing this fully fleshed-out with different "courtrooms", more judge/"admin" powers (starting cross-exams, testimonies, handing down verdicts/deciding a "winner", etc.), and even more features. I have some ideas for how this could be awesome, but I'm sure you do too so I'll keep them to myself for now. I'll be watching this one...
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.

Guess not... -_-

I'm telling you, ask for help.

Also when I left my server I was still on my server and the character I chose was not selectable.

That always happens to BYOND games. I don't trust BYOND game makers outside of the ones that stick around anymore. Even released games wind up getting canned.

Heck, even some of the older ones never get updated or canned.

Wow just wow I can't believe this is actually real.

I mean I'd seen it all being put together but when I went into spectate and saw it kicking into action it was amazing I guess I'd never believed it could turn out so well.

If only you could make the music loop properly. I also think if you could include a scroll bar for the text log it would be even better but wow Fanatsors colour me impressed.

What codebase are you using to code it (like Virtual Basic and C++)? Maybe you could ask in a forum where people use said codebase?

If you fail to get a loop you could at least use the super extended versions (like to 10 or 15 minutes) that are all over youtube so that hopefully you might not even need to loop it as the 'need' for the music will disappear and another tune would be played.

Here's an example of the kinda thing I mean.

Just get a youtube ripper on that and you'd be golden.
