You are not funny, go jump off a pier.

And right now, people saying how they don't care about Valentine's Day. You obviously care enough to say it, shut the fuck up and move on for a day.

I don't know if this is a saying, per se, but I absolutely hate it when people say, "You need a boyfriend." or "Why haven't you had your first kiss yet?"

I cannot STAND it when people say 'Awkward' or 'Awkward moment when {insert situation here}'.

It bugs me so much; YOU JUST MADE IT AWKWARD BY SAYING IT'S AWKWARD. :zenitora:

I looooooattthhhe the phrase 'Allow' or 'Allow it.' Just SAY 'Let it be allowed' - do not shorten it to just 'Allow' - otherwise you are allowing it yourself and not asking someone else to allow it! :zenitora: :zenitora:

Agreed, if only because it really is one of the most overused sayings of the last five years.

Especially in movies or television with the sing-song voice. "Awk~waaard...!" "Awwwwk~waaaaaaaard~!" UGH. Enough.

I second this. :/

Also, I can't stand it when we say something and mean it, and someone says, "You're funny. You should be a comedian."

Another one I really hate is: "Your mom!"

e.g-- "Eww, what's wrong with this banana?"
"Your mom!"

"Where's the party again?"
"Your mom!"

"Hey, is there something I did to upset you?"
"Your mom!"

It may be funny the first time, but it really isn't when your friend says it 50 times a day.

Haha, is that what that means? Goodness gracious. I'm glad I never figured that one out. There are so many abbreviations these days, I think I just gave up after a while. Tix for tickets, tats for tattoos, referring to a celebrity using some form of either their first initial/syllable of first name and first syllable of last name, fusion terms for any romantic/friendship pairing, and most acronyms to come out of the internet in the last five years.

I hate it when people call my instrument a trumpet. I play the baritone horn (it's like a euphonium, Google it) which is fairly large. Trumpets don't come close to the size of a baritone horn case. Or tuba. It's not a tuba, either. Tubas are far bigger. It gets on my nerves. I've been playing the instrument for about 2 years now; everyone who is guilty of this knows what it is now! But still it's a trumpet or tuba.

I just hate it, when people call me deaf.

Like: "Oh hi, you're the dumb deaf person I just met?"

No.

Just.

No.

I barely hear anything and probably different than other people, but that doesn't make me deaf. And it doesn't make me dumb either.

I have excellent grades (A, B and C) and I'm good in school, especially when I study a lot. And uh, okay, just because I don't hear anything without my CI doesn't make me deaf.

Is it based off of some song?
The only time I ever use something like YOLO logic is if there's something that is a limited time-thing.

"Should I play X or watch X on TV?"

I would watch X because y'know...it's only on once and I can play anytime.

Oh, so that's where it's from! I was wondering where that originated from...

Happened a lot in my last few years of high school. The teacher asked a question, some students raise their hands and she picks one to answer. Generally, when the answer was correct, you could bet one of the students who didn't raise his hand, was being a smartass, saying "I was just gonna say that". Nice and all, but raising the hand definitely increases the chance of getting picked to answer.

"Just do your best next time/Try harder next time"
I hate hearing this. After all, every person has a different level of what their "best" is or how hard they can try at something. Perhaps a student who was already doing their best, still doesn't get more than a B on a test.

There's a sentence we always said before eating in kindergarten, but I'm not sure how to translate it. Basically, it was a rhyme saying that we all like each other. (For those who want to know "Piep, piep, piep, wir haben uns alle lieb")
It's such a horrible thing to teach kids. I'm not saying teach kids as soon as possible that the world is not nice and all hope can be lost once you reach the age of 6 or whatever. But this overly-sweet, cuddlification of stuff is just sickening.
There will always be people you will meet at some point in your life that you just plain don't like or who don't like you. I learned that pretty fast (through logic) and I sure as hell am glad that I did.

I hate the word swag.

Swag is as dumb as yolo.

I mean, okay. If you're on Facebook and if you would go to the newsfeed, then you'd probably see a lot of guys who are saying 'swag' after every word in every sentence.

As for 'yolo', I've seen some 'funny' statuses like: 'You only love oreos' or 'You only love one' or 'You one lick other'. They are soooooo funny, okay.

(I hope nobody minds if I revive this topic.)

The one that angers me the most is: The 4 people who disliked this video are ______ For me this overused youtube saying is arrogant, ignorant, ego-pumping, judgemental, and just lacks any common sense. But it also makes me laugh that people get so worked up that somebody disliked a video they liked, it's like a new form of trolling. And to finish this off, nobody knows who disliked your favorite video, so why make baseless assumptions? And we have every right to dislike a video for whatever reason, this is not a first world problem.

Thumbs up if _____ Do I need to explain this one? :chinami:

Swag This phrase makes me think of the pokemon move Swagger.

YOLO This one rubs me the wrong way.

I don't like this pairing/anime/movie/character/etc. but I like the video. Nobody asked you if you liked it, there's no need to defend your pride.

When people use gay as an insult or a synomym for stupid. I have my reasons.

And people who overuse the word overrated. Nowadays people just use the word overrated to say "I'm sick of everyone talking about this so therefor, it's overated." Seriously, I've seen someone on deviantart who thinks being single is overrated and being a virgin is overrated. :zenitora:

Edit: 2 more I forgot to add.

Still a better love story than Twilight. This. One. Is. Just. Old. :devasque:

I hate ______ just because of the fanbase. For me this is never a good reason on why a person hates a series. And when a person says this it makes me think that the person dislikes the fans/fanbase more than the actually series/content.
