Are the differences between Ace Attorney & this game subtle?

I'm talking about Danganronpa. I only just recently got into the game, but all I've seen so far are the classmates pointing out contradictions and breaking more claims.

As much as people get hyped on the interjections of Phoenix Wright, I often would find myself constantly repeating, "You've got that wrong!" or "Sorewa Chigai yo!"

What do you think? Are there more or less differences about ANYTHING between Danganronpa and Ace Attorney?

I can't really comment since I've only played the prologue on PPSSPP, but I found there to be more in common with Dangan Ronpa and Zero Escape than Phoenix Wright.

It's more similar to the Zero Escape games because both are about escaping some place. Unlike with Zero Escape, which champions science fiction as well includes more mature themes, Dangan Ronpa is just zany: zany characters, zany story, zany mysteries, and zany gameplay. It's a visual novel with arcade minigames, for crying out loud.

The sequel vamps up on the variety of minigames, and is improved over its predecessor in practically all aspects. Should you want to explore DR2 (actually called "Super Dangan Ronpa 2"), there's a translated playthrough of the game on a mirror site to SomethingAwful forums. Just google "Let's Mirror Super Dangan Ronpa 2". The blog updates regularly.

There are quite a few differences between Ace Attorney and Dangan Ronpa.

For starters, Ace Attorney isn't terrible.

Still way better than DR1, and I'm saying this as a fan of DR.

I'm of the opinion that more visual novels should have Monokuma. He's the perfect collection of evil, annoyance, and satire all in one.

Dongle Rongle is pretty good up until the story begins to forget what it's even trying to be anymore. You can say the same for Dual Destinies, but at least DD tries to ground itself in reality the entire way through.
