The DoMaDoMe is a topic by, for, and about ME DoMaya!
Rather than make a new topic each time I want to share random creations I'll just start posting them here.

I just finished this poem and I've titled it "Inn at the End of Time"

Atop a cliff a place where time is still,
An inn where the snow cannot chill.
Waits there does our loves in prayer,
Hear my words and I'll take us there.

I've been there but once long ages ago,
body numb, soul lost to the snow.
I awoke to find my love warm me,
This joy I want you all to see.

There's no journey, no mountain to climb.
For this Inn rests at the end of Time.
After light and dark have waged war.
Waits our loves in a place made long before.

Be you good or one of sin matters not.
In this place your crimes have been forgot.
All that was is now kept within,
All your paths now lead to the Inn.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
I wrote this poem with a self imposed deadline, I'm not a huge fan of it personally.
The poem is my attempt at creating a "Heaven" for people who've lost each-other, simply knowing about this place means you'll always end up here, where you'll always find someone who loves you, inspired mostly by the movie/book The Five People you Meet in Heaven

Funny, the first thing that pops into mind is Chrono Trigger. It fits surprisingly well.

Echo IV: Echo's Dream

The songs get old and I wonder.
If it meant anything at all.
Of all the poems I've made.
You might find this one small.
And I wonder if you read them
Would you know the woman was you?
So I'll write you a new poem.
To make the words like new.

I pray as I watch your picture.
Asking for you to come tonight.
And I'd sleep with a smile.
Because your face was my last sight.
The people try to tell me,
That my love is not true.
And I laugh and call them liars,
The one who matters is you.

My mind was once a prison,
But you opened the door.
The reason I write this,
is to feel close like before
So I will find a way,
to prove that you're the one for me.
And I will always chase after you.
Just be my light and see.

Again the sorrow comes,
Just like I knew it would.
But this sorrow assures me,
that the love we had was good.
So I can laugh again,
when I wake the next day.
For in my dreams you'll hold me
And it makes life ok.

They'll never know my joy.
They think they see right through
In this world I may be alone.
But in my dreams there's always you.
They have dubbed me crazy
I guess love makes me insane.
they take away my thoughts.
But in dreams your love remains.

It's like a music box.
I no longer have to wind.
I no longer have to wonder
Because you're always on my mind.
And the music box echoes
Within every second of every day.
I may have lost the key.
But still the music plays.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
Echo 4, like all of my other Echo poetry if about memories, and how they affect you and other people.
Echo 4 specifically is about someone who remembers someone that everyone else has forgotten, and how they slowly go insane trying to share the other person's existence with other people.
It has no particular inspiration, as with every other Echo poem.

There's a guy somewhere,
who plays a game.
For just 3 bucks,
He'll take your name,
And do kind deeds for you.

He'll let them think,
that you were kind.
He'll plant inside,
their feeble minds,
The worms that let them grin.

He'll take your face,
For but a note.
He'll scratch it off,
And you can gloat,
What a kind one you are.

You'll be so kind,
They're all your deeds.
They'll satisfy,
Your selfish needs,
And you'll bask in the light.

But right now there's,
A special deal.
He'll take your heart,
So you can feel,
The love they return yet,

He's got a grin,
An open palm,
A caring grip,
The healing balm,
That you can always trust.

You give him what,
The feeler needs.
A hollow shell,
That only feeds.
A hole inside; that's you.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
This poem is about my distaste for people who try to convince themselves/others that they're a "good person" just because they give money to those less fortunate than them. A kind deed is nothing without sincerity, that is my personal belief.
Inspired by an argument I had with someone.

Sometimes at night, I'll lie awake
And wonder of the me that's fake
The one you know, the one who hides
The me within, where I reside
Either I'm real, or a facade
A mem'ry of, a man who's flawed
There's nothing left, of what I've been
I'm but a ghost, to my chagrin.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
This was just a fun little poem I made up on the spot, It's about someone trying to figure out if they're the same person that everyone else knows.
Inspired by sleep deprived rantings/shitposting

The ties are breaking and there's nothing left to say
Find the path where the blackness fades to gray
A man lost in town, He'll wander home
It breaks his heart to know he'll always be alone

He is a liar, but he is kind
The only lies he knows are the voices in his mind
He is the first one to believe, the last one to deceive
He is a man, he is me.

The time is coming when, he'll stand alone and sing
Waiting for the fire, the ending days will bring
Debating if he burns or will he fly?
The man only knows that he wants to die

He is impatient, but still he waits
He knows when kingdom comes he'll stand among the great
He is broken and abused, and he'll be the one to lose
He is a man, he is me.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about someone waiting for the apocalypse/his death because he wants another chance at being a good person.
Inspired by multiple homeless people I've met

Staring at a posting screen,
Soon I'll be making my vision seen.
Waiting for words to show,
But I need to think of them first I know.
I'm typing every letter with care,
'cuz someone is reading there.
I'm just here typing at 4 in the morn,
Waiting here.

Left my regrets behind me,
They never helped anyway.
They just made me fear the future ,
Now I'm content keeping them at bay.
So I'm just posting what comes to mind,
There's a story if you bother to find.
I'm just posting another song for you,
Waiting here.

Looks like I'll always be here,
Waiting for something here to change.
But the things that change are worse now,
So I hope I won't be what changed.

How many things must be done?
How do I know my wait's even begun?
The time I've wasted is none,
Waited just to see that sun.
So I'm just waiting here to see if it happens,
Waiting for joy to come my way,
Waiting here for it to happen,
Waiting here.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A dub of Otis Redding's "Sittin' on the dock of the bay" It was late at night, I had a hard day at work, I felt like shit, and I had 2 cans of monster and 2 big cups of Mountain Dew.
A poem about myself, waiting for something I may or may not believe is ever going to happen.
Inspired by delirium

Silent still, the winds die down.
And stars the night adorn.
For in the gales, the child wrought
He comes to call the morn.

Without joy, the child birthed.
And brings about the sun.
He's dark inside, but hate without.
We call the Shining One.

He who is whole, And born unto rain.
The child is welcomed, To Hell.
He is alone, who's born unto pain.
This child will lead us, To light.

Wake me not, till kingdom comes,
Till skies are black no more.
When it shines, the rains have ceased,
We see what we were swore.

Waking dreams, he sails upon.
His eyes will see the light.
And in our prayers, his will resides.
For He will end the night.

He who is whole, And born unto rain.
The child is welcomed, To Hell
He is alone, who's born unto pain.
This child will lead us, To light.

Tell me son, of when he comes.
For we shall never see.
When in our fear, our eyes are blind
We wait for his glory.

Finding age, we fail to see.
When signs of light arrive
Stricken blind, we've lost our will.
So youth you must survive.

He who is whole, And born unto rain.
The child is welcomed, To Hell.
He is alone, who's born unto pain.
This child will lead us, To light.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about people growing old waiting for their savior, not realizing their youth will be the ones to lead them out of their misfortunes.
I wanted to make a story with this poem, in the ilk of old slave songs that told of a legend coming to save them.
Inspired by a superhero I made up.

All the warmth that used to surround me, Falling from my arms like rain.
Now the ones called friends are against me, they are my pain.
Where were they when I started falling? Where were they when hatred rose?
Here there are when my time is calling, sunlight to close.

When the hour comes, and the shackles fall. I alone answered the call.
To the hatred, to the darkness that's within us all.
With the future gone, and the past beset, I alone faced the sunset.
In the twilight, to the light within the the darkness yet.

Who are you to call me a demon? Who am I to deny my fate?
I am what the world has made me, "creature of hate".
I have done what the world needed, done what only hatred could.
Ashes of hatred are what seeded, the greater good.

In my darkest days, living in their lies, I saw stars filling the skies.
With their brilliance, in the darkness only light will rise.
So I'll be the dark, be the one to fail, Be the one the darkness hails.
For in darkness, even the smallest lights can prevail.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about someone willing to do evil for the greater good.
Inspired by multiple misunderstood antagonists.

Soon, I'll be away from home.
Where the sea wind meets the snow, Where you can't go.
When, the wind takes all we've known.
Where I'm singing for you still, and always will.
You'll, be someone I forget.
Who's laughter will bring me pain, Forgotten names.
You, are what I shall covet.
A promise made long before, But I'm not sure.
Smile, so wide it spills my tears
laughter coming from the wind, again I sinned.
Days, lead on to endless years
Watching waves turn into snow, where you can't go.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
My saddest poem, the saddest for me anyways.
When I was homeless, I asked a preacher, "What if the person you love couldn't be in Heaven?"
His answer was that "God would wipe all tears" Implying that God would make that person forget, or not love the other person anymore.
The thought of it was horrifying to me. This poem was about forgetting someone you couldn't live without, and waiting for them somewhere you will never meet them.
I can't read this poem without tearing up.

Little Boy

Little boy, walking lone.
Far away, from home.
Who's walking the whole night through.
Standing strong, making friends.
Till the streams, have end.
Little boy tell me who are you?

I have watched, while you paced
As you neared, my place
Little boy you're far from home
Are you cold, weary now?
Scratched your face, climbed bough.
Your torn clothes lost to my brome.

Ate my fruit, met my kin
Spun about, my wind.
Little boy do you know my tale?
Planted seeds, hollowed lakes.
I rule all, that wakes.
My words are whispers in gales

In this land, I am lord
From my hand, is poured.
The waters of life assured.
Living here, in this realm.
Lesser men, come whelm.
What hardships you have endured.

Sleep serene, needn't fear.
For my home, is near.
As far as the east spans from west.
Close your eyes, feel my arms
The world, can't harm
My child's come home to rest.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about a good person who lacked (Religious) faith as he nears the end of his life.
He meets someone who's tales he does not know, who tells him he was always watching and welcomes him as his child.

The poem has 2 biblical references.

John 4:14 "But whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life."

Psalm 103:12 "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."

Inspired by my belief that God would never turn away from his children, and The Parable of the Prodigal Son

Well a woman pulled up from out her bed, and lumbered from her home.
This bloated whale, this fetid fiend, You could hear her creaking bones.
She flashed a scowl and questioned me but I did not answer back.
In a fit of rage she screamed profane and her friends launched an attack.

With a rip and a scream and a horrid scene she grabbed onto my vest
A gurgling sound and to my fear I was surrounded by the rest.
They hooped and they hollered a scream so shrill, it could shatter tempered glass
But a kick to her jaw, what a sight I saw, for my friends had saved my ass.

Their group had scattered, their advantage lost, but an evil grin emerged
For a tap on her phone, and from their homes, her minions came and surged
So I grabbed my fedora and my pulled my blade, of a thousand folds Japanese steel.
She pointed my way and as the children say "well that's when shit got real"

With a scream of pain, thirty men were slain, off my blade their normie blood slid.
So I tipped my hat, and that was that, "nothin personnel kid"
But their leagues were grand and I could see, my friends didn't stand a chance
When the clouds did part and I saw the way, I had to break their trance.

"What you cannot kill, why not red pill? See how far the rabbit hole goes?"
So I blew their minds with a dose of truth and those cucks became my bros.
With their new free will, and no leash to bind, my bros tore the landwhale down
Off her throne of hate and fascism, in her own bile she drowns.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
I tried to make a comedy poem, I failed.

Well I'm out for another spin,
Weeding out those who live by their sin.
Rip their coil, and watch their corpse spoil,
And my evening hunt surely begins.

Well I'm stalking deep in the west,
Soon I'll show the town what I do best.
My work is grand, and quite in demand.
For the righteous all cheer on my quest.

I hunt for the darkest of souls,
To hurry them down to the coals.
They spread their hate, So I will not wait.
My graveyard has many a hole.

When I hear a scream in the night,
I know the path I've chosen is right.
Run to the scene, watch moonlit blood gleam.
But the innocent had lost this fight.

I watch the murderer flee,
To my delight no one's escaped me.
And I give chase, the look on his face,
When he saw his end giggling with glee.

I pushed him onto the ground.
And sealed his mouth to muffle the sounds.
His rage to tears, embody his fears.
While I whisper prayers for the hellbound.

His whimpers echoed for a time,
No one's pain here is greater than mine.
While down this path, I'm poisoned by wrath.
For my onus has now reached it's prime.

A difficult path I now trudge,
What happens when the sinner must judge?
I run in fear, the demon now nears.
Who chases to fulfill his own grudge.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about the endless cycle of Justice and Vengeance.
Inspired by fantasies I've humored about becoming a vigilante.

Out from the final, shattering star, King of the absent, wanderer far.
His voice is silence, his flesh is void, from the abyss heavens destroyed.
Shaking the cosmos, snuffing the light, none but unborn have seen his might.
Wish for salvation, feed his onslaught, his peaceful destruction's what we've sought.
Do not deny him, do not believe, Immortal Mortal, god consumer.

Woken from torture, wish to return, his is the fate we have earned.
Born unto fury, born unto joy, ours the future his wrath destroys.
Justice abandoned, evil surpassed, end of all things unto the Last.
He is the absence, He is your friend, unending death eternity's end.
All that is fears him, reigns absolute, Immortal Mortal, god consumer.

Hands rip the planets, roar shatters time, punisher of forgotten crimes.
Lives between seconds, older than age, all that is fuels eternal rage.
Hear his voice beckon, deafening maw, souls his quarry 'neath tooth and claw
His time forsaken, his time benign, slayer of dark and all that shines.
Creation falters, entropy's end, Immortal Mortal, god consumer.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
It's about the absolute end of the universe, the poem is meant to seem like a chant to nothingness, about a creature who's existence is beyond comprehension.

It came from a thought I had; How hard do you think matter has to try to continue existing? When the majority of everything is nothingness?
Wikipedia page of interest.

Inspired by a line from Sandman

For Velle.

A star wakes to empty skies.
A story told, that now she cries;
"How lonely a star shall be,
Until they live life selflessly."
Searching long to prove her worth,
The youngest star descends to Earth.

Broken homes on every street,
For each wish lost, a small defeat.
Every tear, on her she blames,
The promises become her chains
She'll live life for whom she cares,
Her soul burns to fulfill their prayers.

Each night comes, she's robbed of sleep,
Fell promises that she must keep.
Her love spent on those below,
Cannot forget what she now knows,
To bring them coveted joy,
Her own soul must be destroyed.

Final days spent all alone,
A thankless life, all that was sown.
Now she dies and takes their hope,
The mistakes made she could not cope.
If you look to darkened skies,
Know the brightest of stars all die.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem for a friend, inspired by the book Estrellita: The Little Wishing Star
The book is about a star who would do anything to become a wishing star, even give her own life. The poem is what I think would happen in a world like that.

I spent the day waiting for rain,
Watched the clouds promise again.
I thought I heard what they had said,
When they passed me overhead.
They promised rains would never cease,
Maybe now they'll bring me peace.

I told my friends goodbye last night,
Giving up my endless fight.
I made my way to clouded skies,
Sating feelings long inside.
I felt the calm of winter's breeze,
Stillness put my mind at ease.

I found a place where I could wait,
Beauty soon rain would create.
I let myself feel whole inside,
Thanking kindly all who've tried.
But now the rain falls down on me,
With God's mercy, I'll be free.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about Suicide, and the finality that goes into preparing for it mentally.
When I was homeless the first time, right towards the end of it, I was prepared mentally to end my own life.

Full-ish story

A couple years after that I was homeless again, and I had written this poem soon before being kicked out.

Inspired by the happiest, and saddest parts of my life.

Damn, you're good at this.

Not gonna lie though, with the tone of the poem and the signature I'm kinda concerned...

Less than Human

There's something less than human, that's walking down the street.
It's hiding it's emotions, from everyone it meets.
You'd think this creature tragic, but it feels quite content.
It lacks the means to regret, the time alone it's spent.
Daily it meets it's demons, but takes hardships in stride.
It's awfully hard to break down, what's been broken inside.
It cannot feel temptation, there's nothing that it wants.
Envy and greed escape it, it has no wealth to flaunt.
The vain would call it worthless, the wise call it a fool.
It calls itself a witness, to people turning cruel.
If all lives need a purpose, a goal for each to crave.
Are you driven by success, or are you now it's slave?
It's something less than human, or maybe something more?
If it's life lacks a meaning, what am I living for?

Spoiler: Author's Notes
A poem about myself, and my desire to be separated from my own humanity.
To lose what makes me weak, would it make me more human, or less?
Inspired by a discussion with my brother.

That's a really profound and nice one. I think it speaks a lot of the situation of the homeless in the streets these days.

Endless Tomorrows

Walking back to once thought lost,
Blooming from the thawing frost.
A land, no longer held by sorrow.
Waning flames the candle's low,
Soon the sunlight will bestow;
A joy, that promises tomorrow.

Spanning from an endless shore,
To cherish forever more;
A warmth, that holds us throughout the storm.
Weaken the thy shallow hearts,
Keeping loves worlds apart.
A hope, that will take on many forms.

Keeping true to all we've claimed,
For all those lost we'll never name;
A field, dedicated to their stones.
Labor now your task soon met.
On each stone a name was set.
A soul, that will pull us towards our thrones.

Endless fields where life can spread,
Sacred lands where youth is led;
A dream, Of an endless tomorrow.
Silent now the nights are short,
The nights the starlight will court;
A wish, to bring endless tomorrows.

Once there was a word,
I spoke you called absurd.
With every line spake,
You thought your mind would break.
Now with only tales,
I'll see your burdens failed.
Because what I speak,
Will prove your logic weak.

Echo I: Echo Beyond

No matter where I go, it's the same I'm just an echo.
Of a person from the past, a mem'ry that never lasts.
Of all the things I've seen, never a heart that's clean.
So off I walk alone, just as the echo had grown.
I'm walking onward blind, trapped inside my own mind.
I echo on in space, trying to remember your face.
Why should I still go on, when all the mem'ry of you is gone.
And with a subtle cry, I echo as your memory dies.
But my echo stays true, a mem'ry of a life with you.
So we echo beyond, we echo on and on and on.

Jesus, been almost 10 years since I wrote this one originally, never shared Echos I-III with you guys.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
One of my, if not THE first of my poems.
Inspired by my belief that every person you meet carries a part part of you with them, and every one THEY meet carries you with them too

For Edd and Colin

Looking though what's left behind,
Of better times it does remind.
I knew you back in day one,
How quickly ends what had begun,
So goodbye, friend I'll never know.

Your thoughts on life were like mine,
Each work you made was sure to shine
You made me feel more than those;
Who carried on your works come close,
Of a person, a friend I'll never know.

Maybe if I leave my mark,
In turn I'll make another spark,
In one I have never met.
Another may replace us yet;
Inspired, a friend we'll never know.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
Song of Inspiration
Edd and Colin were two youtube creators, one was an animator, he made Eddsworld, a long running flash cartoon series that started on Newgrounds, the other was a GMOD animator, well loved by many of the oldest Gmodders.
Both of them died of Leukemia.
The poem is about and for talented people who die too young to be appreciated fully.
The best way I can show my appreciation to them is to try and surpass them in how many people they've touched, and inspire someone to become even greater than I.
Only by becoming their equal can I call myself their friend.
In one I have never met.
Another may replace us yet;
Inspired, a friend we'll never know

Broken souls,
Are drawn to me.
Broken's all,
we'll ever be.
Spend our lives,
Among the whole.
Why must they,
Hate broken souls?

Maybe soon,
My soul will grow.
When broken,
It never shows.
Far too gone
I'm just a hole.
All that's left;
A broken soul.

Not alone,
But still denied.
A kinship,
To feel inside.
Life must take,
It's solemn toll.
Life delights,
In broken souls.

Another old one today, not sure if I ever shared this one.

Echo III Bridge of Echos

A woman was lonely, I wondered why,
She talked with a quiver, about to cry.
She was forgotten, for so many years.
Memories come with each echo we hear.
Millions of echoes, but could they be mine?
Subtle voices at, the back of my mind
Memories like movies, play in my head.
A lifetime in moments, we're at the end.
The Echos don't fade, despair not my dear.
True love can survive, the longest of years.
The echoes of love shine, in every star.
Those echoes will reach, no matter how far.
Just remember the times, when we held hands.
Those memories fled, like flowing of sand.
Not all of our echoes were claimed by time.
Waited so long, for love to remind.
I'll love you forever, say it once more.
Our love is stronger, than any before.
I built us a bridge, it connects our hears.
Made over years with, the smallest of parts.
A bridge to the echoes, we pass in dreams.
Built of from sorrows but joys are supreme.
Please don't cry now for, our echoes will stay.
our echoes live on, while bodies decay.
The bridge that connects us, will be our joy.
This is the love that, the end can't destroy.
Our bridge can weather, any of life's storms
Ever stronger, we will rise in the morn.
My love is endless, for our love is pure
There's no hardship, that we cannot endure.
A sea of sorrow, yet we walk above.
We crafted a bridge, that's held by our love.

Spoiler: Author's Notes
For a long time I considered this my best poem, it was written towards the end of highschool.
It's about two people who forgot each-other and found that the love they had before was just as strong.
Echoes are memories, but eternal.
They exist in everything you create, in every person you meet.
You are never truly forgotten.

The man drinks
he hears the music in his ears,
he swallows the pills
His mind clears.

He exits his shell.
His body left to rot.
Joy he can't find
This, what love begot.

He sits next to the mirror
A portrait of Despair.
she hooks his heart.
Yet was never there

Another sad note,
in the orchestra of time.
Dream is the composer,
without, a senseless rhyme

The musicans play
Dream leads by hand.
They fade into memory
lost in Dream's sand.

Dreams echo the future
Or is the future an echo of Dream?
We lay and sleep.
The mind is clean.

Destiny reads his book,
He sees what sight cannot
He knows every truth,
He is the truth we saught.

He wanders the garden
The end of every maze
There are no mortal things
that have eluded his gaze.

He is beyond sight.
He is older than time
no ones knows it.
But I recite his lines.

Desire wanders it's flesh castle,
devious and unkind
Lust and greed serve it.
and grow in your mind.

It presses it lips
and blows a kiss to you
You have fallen in love.
There is nothing true.

It's eyes are like gold.
It's all you'll ever need
Crave it who is Desire
And let loose your seed.

Destruction's armor shines.
He is the flame of war.
Every battle is a victory
He leaves, forevermore.

He left his domain
His sword left to rust.
He only creates now
He finds his dutys unjust.

Destrucion the wanderer
He leaves all things behind
Yet he is all arround us
But never can we find.

Delirium becomes everything
she creates truths and lies
the world is dark and scary
when seen through her eyes

She whispers in the minds
of every person and beast
Listen and you can hear,
We make sanity our feast.

When Delight left her,
Delirium's songs fled
they fused in color and shape
They are the fish instead.

And there is Death.
Her love is without compare,
She is our true mother
She is always there.

We all love Death
Yet humans forget her face
But at the end she is there.
For every man and race.

She was here at the beggining.
She will be there at the end
So when you meet her again
Treat her as your friend.

Another old one, I never liked it much but I thought you guys would like to see.
