Such is the difficult choice that must be made at times in this kind of game. Do you heal the character you want to live or do you hurt the characters you want him/her to outlast? Your current approach doesn't appear to be working at the moment; it is only delaying the inevitable.

Give ol'Ray a jolt of healing.
Of course since we're down to 5 I might propose a sudden death mode. Where everyone's health is reset and the healing/damage ratio is adjusted so people cannot endlessly heal.

I object to your proposal, Pierre. By implementing a sudden death policy, any prior healing done to boost Apollo, Phoenix, Ray, and Kazuma would be negated, effectively nullifying the efforts of the people who gave them those boosts in the first place. It would be unfair to Apollo in particular. I offer a counter-proposal: No character's HP total may exceed that of the character who currently has the most HP. As such, since Apollo currently has 50 HP, no one may have more than 50 HP. If someone hurts him, the maximum is lowered to 48 (unless someone else has 49 or 50 HP by then).

And I like Pierre's suggestion. I was gonna suggest that we go all out and say only damage, but that wouldn't be fair for the unpopular characters with lesser points. So for this end round, I'll allow players an option. You can either heal a character for 2HP or damage a character for 3. Choose one or the other, not both. The points can be divided among characters as you see fit (or be merciless and unload all your damage onto an innocent soul, your choice).
