Got a Japanese 3DS? Then hop onto the eShop for the DGS2 demo! While the majority of it is the same as the web demo, you get to see the pre-trial sequence in the defendant's lobby, as well as a special trailer at the very end. And some nice new music at that!

Oh, sorry - to clarify, the new music is a title screen theme we haven't heard before and the full version of Ryuu's Objection! theme in the trailer at the end. The courtroom themes are still carried over from DGS1 directly.

Is there any way to extract the new themes (including the full Objection! 2017 theme) and the trailer?

Is the trailer new, or is it just the launch trailer?

It's new, but unfortunately due to technical issues I'm not sure when I'll be able to upload it.

I'm playing through the demo right now and I noticed something that wasn't in the web demo. Or at least, not by my knowledge:

Spoiler: Case 1 spoiler I guess?
The journalist has an additional animation. After Souseki is finished posing/speaking, the journalist will lower his camera, take out a pencil with a twirl, lick it and then he starts writing furiously in a notebook. As he does so, both his face and the inkstain on his hand are clearly visible. I guess it was removed from the web demo to make it less obvious he's involved with the actual case?

The trailer doesn't really show us anything particularly new, supposing you've kept up to date with the Famitsu info. There's only one thing that stood to me as new information and that was the reveal of a new jury member. (some sort of card-shuffling magician with a very villainous moustache)

Well, that trial sure was interesting!

Another detail that I learned from the trailer (thanks to airisuwatoson on tumblr for translating it):

Apparently Aldamont (Case 2's Juror No. 4) is described by Ryuu as 'the director's wife'. On the two shots we see of her, she mentions setting up a meter, and later remarking on someone at a business office. Maybe Petenshy's workplace might be a place of interest?
