"I-I'm only doing this for group unity, or whatever!" Akio snapped. "So, uh...Yeah!"

He took a deep breath, and dropped it on the pool floor, ready for anyone to pick up. It would potentially reveal a dark secret about his past -- one that could change everyone's opinion on him forever.

"Oh right, the contents of my letter." Shirly came out of the changing room in her usual clothes. She pulled it out of her pocket and passed it around for everyone to see.

The contents describes Shirly's family, everything being cited with documentation. It details how they fell into extreme poverty. They don't have a home anymore, and child services have separated her parents and siblings.

She goes over and wraps Shirly in a hug, while still soaking wet.
