Fixed on 1.2, so it will be fine once 1.2 is out.
The game really made me change certain things on PWLib to make thme better. One of them is the loader. Once 1.2 is out, I'll teach Yggdrasil how to make a loading screen, so the case1's loading will be better.

AWESOME!! Especially for a first case! I'll be honest: when I heard the name, I thought "Turnabout Taco" was going to be really stupid, but it was really good! Your style and humor was almost exactly like that in the real games, and you had good objections! (Bad objection = they randomly say something that contradicts the evidence for the purpose of having it be contradicted. Good objection = they say something that makes sense and that they would normally say that just happens to contradict the evidence.)
But, as awesome as Turnabout Taco was, I have to admit Cake and Turnabout was soooooooo much better. I mean, "Work in progress"? GENIUS!!!!!!!
btw, I hope Meson is the prosecutor in the climax case. I don't know if that's going to be case 10 or what, but it would be sooooo awesome to have the first prosecutor that you beat, who is on the side of truth (but doesn't baby you like Klavier >.>) be the prosecutor for the easiest and hardest case in the game.

Also, with Ron's hands going through the glass, should be fixed in PWLib 1.2 (it's a problem with screenery overlay).

The thing is, for unexpected reasons, I've been since Sunday in my grandparents' house, where my Windows 98 PC is, and, as a matter of fact, without an Internet connection (they DO have, but the server had some problems), until today.
Yes, I'm back from my non-existent/wished-one week vacations, and, of course, I'm back at working in Kudo.
Status resume: Everything done, fixing timing in Seed Eating Animation. So, I'll post a .zip in any moment. BTW, didn't find the sfx. I'll use sfx-smack temporarily.

In any case, 2 animations one for each type: sound and soundless. So it fits all appetites.
Edit: DeMatador, you just gave me a very good idea for a SAS feature! (That's what I love about SAS: I can add little things to it, and still keeping it simple).

tip: try to photoshop something but smarty's just use the Background of the evidence images and paint something on it, you gotta change alot colours to let it become a perfect 3D evidence.

Just to let you know, the Kudo file does not have the eating pose, just the eat one. DeMatador's version only include the eat, not eating.
Also with Ini, there's no sleepsh one, only normal.

Also it seems you don't turn the lipsync on when the case begins (if you play once, you will notice it when you play it the second time).
The same goes for the overlay. It seems that the overlay isn't shown (when you fade it off, you forgot to on again).

Just to let you know, the Kudo file does not have the eating pose, just the eat one. DeMatador's version only include the eat, not eating.
Also with Ini, there's no sleepsh one, only normal.

One big tip: never suppose something is activated on pwlib: make sure it is by putting the commands. It avoid issues (and makes the game 100% safe from problems).
Oh, and I used your game to showcase PWLib 1.2 to a friend at the university.

Also, its not so much that I assume its activated, but that it doesn't cause a problem when I check it, so I don't realize that I forgot to activate it.

Well, I don't know about that, Mr. Badplayyrolwheechoochootrainyumyumtacosomething. But thanks for the awesomeness. I did already have this entire case written before I began making it in PWLib, so I sped through it quickly, and then I was already 2/3 done when I actually became a CR member and told people about it, creating the illusion that I did this all super fast.

1. The most recent PWLib, 1.1, is available at http://www.ksatechnologyhq.com:1357/site/pwlib/dl
2. The most recent DS:AA Case 1, U2, is the one linked to in my sig and the first post. I didn't fix any crashing issues, though.
3. The problem may be with your computer, though, in which case I can't really help.

The laptop and its age is irreverent to the issue at hand. The laptop is nearly a year old That is not the problem.

Anyway, I understand your frustration. But you say that the game freezes at different times, so maybe you're having a problem with AIGE?

Try playing it without any SFX or Music on the folders (to see if the issue doesn't appear).
Remember that:
PWLib 1.1+ uses Audiere
PWLib 1.0x's use direct WAV playback + custom MP3 player (with is buggy at certain mp3s).
Case 1-1 and ToL were built over 1.0x's era.
Daimon Shard is 1.1 based.

Yes, perhaps that is the issue. I wasn't aware that I was the only one to actually build AND release a case on 1.1.

I don't know how Audiere plays things, but I have a feeling that it uses the current active codec for mp3 available on the system to play mp3 files, and mgs2master2 might have a bugged one that dies and kills Audiere (that kills AIGE at a point I don't now where and how). That's the idea I have about what is happening. Can't be sure unless a soundless play is executed.
