I've heard it before but I can't remeber it.

It's the theme song to Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Well, I suppose I should throw down my judgements. In order of entry time:

Travolta3335
Hmmm... an original peice such as this was always hoing to be somewhat hit & miss, but for the most part it's a hit. Anything that relies on acting will often lose marks for the acting, which is sorta where this falls short. Of course, for sheer daftness, this does a fantastic job. It also has one of the most laugh-out-loud moments in this contest, being where Gant randomly appears and "yoinks" Ema. True win right there.

Final score: 8/10

BlackJack
As a longtime fan of yours (I think I was your first subscriber?) it really is good to see just how well you've progressed. However, I think that this time around, you've overshot it somewhat. The video starts off somewhat weak, but gradually builds up to be a fantastic video, over the course of it's 34 skits. Wherein lies the problem.
34 Goddamned Skits.
This is just too many. Your average video has the sense not to exceed 20, but this has 34. All in all, you could comfortably remove several of these skits and your vid would have been all the better for it. The running joke felt a tad lacking (and it also seems like it might have been a tip o' the hat to my own work... :yuusaku: ).

But for all of these criticisms, there is also a very large amount of material to recommend. Highlights in particular include "Robot Expression", "NEEEEEEERD!", "Marty" and "Schoolboy".

Final Score: 8/10

ReturnofthePhoenix
Now, for your first attempt at a full-length Phoenix Wrong video, this is quite good. It trumps a lot of first goes, by being something that most aren't... truly original. But like any first try, it has several problems. For one, it may be unique, nut it is also very random in places. And not the good kind of random, the "what the hell was that supposed to be?" kind of random.

As people have previously said, the Clerks scenes were by far the best, and your use of AAI sprites (you're the first one to use them, BTW!) was very good.

Final Score: 7/10

To summarise:
OK, all in all, RotP clearly lacks experience but clearly has significant room to improve, which i'm sure he will do. Volty's work isn't really my thing, but he's done a very good job of it. And with BlackJack, it was a good video, but perhaps a bit of a letdown after the awesomeness that was Habeus Corpus.

So overall, I vote:

Travolta3335

Sorry to the rest of you. Better luck next time! :sillytrucy:

Okay. Let's get down to beeswax.

1. Thanks for the Judging Lind but I think we already have our Judges (but that other guy quit or sumtin')

2. Sorry, but we will have to continue without Lind.

3. That was the first Phoenix Wrong I made so I don't really care if I win or lose, I'm workin' on Clerks Episode 4 Wrightinated (a.k.a. Randal Graves: Ace Attorney)

Exactly. Lind is going to be a judge as opposed to entering. Because Nadindi can't do it.

Okay, so I'm going to start with the first one I watched, which was blackJack's.

I saw this first, and I was immediately blown away (because my windows moviemaker days sucked. and this was good.) but then half way through it, I thought that some of the scenes were unneeded. My favorite parts were the part in the beginning when Klavier fades in and starts his guitar solo, and Kristoph's waving a lighter, and the godot folger's one. Overall, it was pretty good, but some things were just unneeded.

**** (4 of 5 stars)

The next one was Travolta's

This one, when I watched it, I was like, Holy shit wow. It was good. Really good. I loved how the judge was more of a dipshitted idiot, and how Ema 'went in the van'

oh yeah, the Chrystal meth thing was funny too.

All in all, it was pretty good

***** (5 of 5 stars)

Now for RotP's

Okay, so first off, I noticed that it was WAY shorter than the others, but according to the description, you didn't know. It was good for a first try, but honestly, I think that the only part where I even got a chuckle out, was when Klavier tried to score Kay's phone number.

***1/2 (3 1/2 of 5 stars)

Let's do in order of competitor.

RotP- It was OK. A few smiles, but no laugh out loud moments over all. 3 stars.
Travolta- I loved this. It was really funny, made me laugh and I loved it. 5 stars.
BlackJack- The first scene went on for ever, and it made me laugh a bit. 4 stars.

Sorry BlackJack, Travolta wins again.

Strange, I've never heard of neoon genesis evangelion but I've heard that song beofre...

EDIT: OK, I have my verdict on the first two phoenix wrong's.

CRAZY 4 MAX'S Phoenix Wrong - Machinima
Nice implement of GK in it, now you just spoiled the game for me.
Seriously, put a warning tag or something!
All that aside, I think it lacked what I think a Phoenix Wrong is, that is, quotes from television being "said" by PW characters. I think it lacked the famousness thingy that it really needed. Could've put in something from simpsons or i dunno. But maybe it does make it a little more original. Another thing brought to my attention, though. Why is Zinle mentioned in the credits? I thought you weren't alowed outside help or something...
3.8 stars out of 5.

BLACKJACKS's Phoenix Wrong - Turnabout Championship
A little long and boring at places e.g we will rock you and the Oscar scene.
I can excuse the oscar scene because otherwise it wouldn't be funny but you should really cut some bits out. Otherwise, it looks like a decent well made Phoenix Wrong. Well done. (crap, I feel like a school teacher now).
4.2 out of 5

Haha, no. They're certainly not the best skits, by any measure. What I meant was, they're good scenes, but at the same time they drag on a bit.

And the best scenes are NEEEEEEEEEERD and Schoolboy.
