After I got everything done, I needed a break, and then look what happened.
I guess life is just too much in the way to finish up the comic right now. Luckily, summer's coming up soon, and I still have all my ideas for everything, so no matter how slowly this goes--I will never give up on it. I will continue to update this, although admittedly it is at a lower focal point than before.
So, yeah, I'm concentrating less on it, but it's going to see its end, one way or another. I have this page in front of me--it mocks me everyday--and yet, I don't scan it or upload it. I just wonder if I should continue it--I feel so guilty when I see all the support this project has been given, and yet, I feel so caught-up in real life and other matters online.
Another impediment is that I am now into another fandom, making my visits to this forum sparse. I believe this has something to do with the fact that I have not played anything Ace Attorney-related for a while (that is, nothing new has come for a long time), so... (What surprised me was that at the other fandom community, I found a lot of old C-R members. XD;; )
tl;dr: Comic updates are now at their slowest ever, DOES NOT MEAN THE COMIC IS DEAD, simply taking a...very large break. <__< Whenever this new fandom/real life wears itself out (or when I get a hold of and finish Gyakuten Kenji, whichever of these come first) is when I return.
Once again, I thank everybody here (and even everybody not here, simply for being a part of the community that I love and remember vividly and will for possibly the rest of my life XD; ) for everything they've done for me--I've never had anything "admired" by anyone before, and I've never been, erm, "popular" before, so...I'm really, really grateful for everything and everyone. D': A-And I apologize for being so pathetic about everything, really DDD':
So, um, I suppose I'll see you later...I wish I could give you all a big hug or something, I...I just love everyone here, and I'll miss the community terribly :'C (N-No, I'm not leaving permanently, j-just...for a little while XD;; )

Relax, ~n, and don't put guilt on yourself when it isn't necessary. If, one day in the near future, you suddenly feel struck by inspiration to resume your comics, then do so, and let that inspiration usher in what will come. Sometimes, the best thing for ourselves is a break from our obligations or activities... when you return, completely fresh from it all, you will have that sense of joy that it once had at the beginning.
Not to say that this limits to just art, of course, but as a generality, very often for what we love most.
Don't forget to at least drop by and say hello-- new fandom or no, the internet connects the world, so there are no real goodbyes like this-- that, and courtesy is still important. XD
(This poetic-rant brought to you by late night net-surfing, Mistic of the Persona 3 soundtrack, and some coincidental, unrelated tears shed, an event that, I must admit, is almost as rare to me as an eclipse is. Well, anyways, I must be getting to sleep now! Cya!)

Well, I've been busy with school, various art projects/commissions, and even a collaborative project I'm starting with a friend, but all that time this one comic has been nagging at me like some kind of Ghost of Leftovers' Past. WHYYY DIDN'T YOU FINISH MEEEE, WHYYY DID YOU JUST LEAVE ME LIKE THAAAAAT~
I feel so silly just leaving it with barely a word, especially when this comic represents the community in such a solid way. I srs love you guys, and you've given me so much support, so y'know what? I've been going back and finding all my PMs, and all the plot notes, and just EVERYTHING BECAUSE I AM STARTING THIS THANG UP AGAIN AND KEEPING IT GOING UNTIL IT IS DONE. Oh man, it's almost strange going back and looking at all this stuff. I remember it but the style and everything seems so alien to me now, hahaha)
No, I won't be a regular member of Court-Records anymore (gosh, this place is so much more DESU than I remember. /shudder). I just want to get this comic ~DONE~, ONES AND FOR ALL. Because having the comic be ZOMBIE GOAST is just saddening.
So, what do you say? Let's get an ocean of rust-remover in here, and get it started up again, yes? Ohgosh I hope my style changes don't give you a heart attack
P.S. I will most likely be crossposting in the Mafia forums too, AND all new stuff will be COMPLETELY done in Photoshop, so everything will be super-spiffy looking! (And yeah, I would have liked to have made a grander entrance with an ACTUAL comic page to show, but IF I START TOMORROW I MIGHT BE ABLE TO HAVE A NEW PAGE BY TOMORROW EVENING. ...Unless Hai goes by Valve Time, which is likely)

I know I have no real page to show for today, but at least have this. It's my promise to you that I am, indeed, working on the page. (As a bonus, have a DxK sketchy thang. And a Velo I drew a long time ago.)
Just, seriously. I love and miss you guys and I would be sadfais forever if you all left because it took me so fucking long (although I guess it's kinda what I deserve, lol)

I stand by what I said - this is no longer the appropriate place to post this comic. Nor, in fact, is this the appropriate place to have this argument or anything related to CRM at all. It's a very old argument - almost two years old in fact - and it should be dead and buried by now.

Her reasons are her own, and shouldn't need defending. She was not any more out of line in what she said than your were in your messages; the only major difference was your choice of vulgarity in your words.
If she didn't know about the "changes", then how could you expect her to have spoken any differently? The least you could have done was be more polite instead of playing the martyr.
Honestly, this is why I don't bother with forum politics. Too much QQ, hardly any room to think things out.
EDIT: I take the time to draft this and cut it down as much as I can, and I'm still beat by Ceres, both in who posts first and in how quickly we can get to the point. XD

I was just suggesting you post the comic somewhere where people who still care about mafia can read it. But whatever. I'll make a thread for it at CRM and link all the pages and whatever and junk and stuff. That way, you don't need to do anything but finish the comic :D
