Spoiler: 4-1 Spoilers
After replaying it last night, Zak Gramarye/Shadi Smith has a few lines in the first case near the end when he's yelling at Orly.

Also, not sure if this needs to be brought up, but until Olga announces who she really is, her last name is pronounced "Or-lee." After she reveals who she really is, and how she isn't even Russian, her name is then pronounced as "Oh really."

So you're saying add those extra lines and put them at the beginning of our dub so the beginning makes more sense?

No, I'm saying

Spoiler: 4-1
We need a Zak to do the lines for the first case, and we don't currently have a Zak.

Yeah, I'm gonna go with that. Ahaha. Also, I'll be able to record myself "eeeek"-ing tomorrow. Can I send a sound file in a PM to ya, Mike?

Oh, and I listened to your auditions, Jade! You have an interesting voice for Ema! I always imagine her with this horrendous ditzy Brooklyn accent, but I think I'd get shot in the head for asking you to try it that way. Haw haw. :d So yeah, the only advice I could give you is the same thing everyone else is saying: get excited! You're Intraweb Ema! Woohoo!

OK, I'm recording my lines.

Be aware, though, that I'm much better as evil Kristoph than normal Kristoph.

Yeah Mango, you can send your "eeeeek!" in a PM :P. Although for part two, I am going to do e-mails and everything.

:D

We just need the Judge, and Orly's "eeeek!" and we're ready.

For auditions, all you have to do is record at least one line the character says in the game. Scripts are sent out once you have been confirmed to voice the character. If you don't own the game or are too lazy to play through the case again, I'd do a search on Youtube, like "Apollo Justice Case 2" and you should be able to find at least one set of videos where someone has recorded them self playing through the game.

And as for whether or not you can audition for her, of course!

This looks really interesting. I think I've got just the voice for our good friend Valant. I'll happily take any critisism you have for me.

Your auditions brought up an interesting point:

So we're all on the same page, how is everyone going to pronounce Gramarye?

I usually pronounce it gra-mah-RYE as in rye bread.
You pronounced it as gra-mah-REE.

Which one should we go with?

I looked it up, and that's what I found. (turns out, gramarye is a real word.)

Though personally, I prefer gra-MAR-yeh.

Heh, I've never thought about that. I've always just read it like that. This same things happened with Godot, (Goh-Dot).

According to Dictonary.com I'm doing it in the right way. It's not really my call though. You can create a poll about it and choose the most loved one if you want the popular opinion.

Love the auditions, not a fan of the mic quality (kinda muffled?). Also, I believe you're pronouncing Gramarye correctly. "Gram-ah-ree," though a lot of people say it's pronounced "Gra-mar-ay."

If I were to vote, I'd say "Gra-Mar-Yay" as that's how I read it, and my friends that play Ace Attorney pronounced it like that too. It's a rather oddly spelled name. There's got to be a "Y" sound near the end, and with one e, it should be a "yay" sound. Those are my thoughts.

Oh wow, I didn't realize the "Yes" linked to a sample until now. My bad.

Uh, your phonetic logic is terribly, terribly wrong. Please tell me you don't pronounce it "Pokétech".

And it's "gram-uh-ree". It's an actual word.

That's odd. I can hear it fine. So, is it my enunciation, or the volume that's the problem?

I think you're a bit too close to the mike. Your breathing makes it a bit difficult to understand what you're saying. It's quite nice from what I could hear though.

Choc. I myself liked your Plum quite a lot. Just the right balance of scary and endearing. It might just be putfile messing with the audio, but it couldn't hurt for it to be a trifle louder.

I get really snarky. Sorry if I come off as abrasive.

And yeah, a surprising number of people pronounce it Pokétech, then proceed to claim it stands for "Pokémon Technology." As if the portmanteau hadn't been explained in-game, to their faces, or something.

We're still looking for a Zak, I believe. If that is the case, I can do a placeholder Zak. I call it a placeholder because, while it will be Zak, the voice will have that medium tone heroic-like vibe rather than the medium-low gruff tone he should have.

I turned in "temporary" lines for Zak when I sent in my clips already. Last I remember we just needed lines from our Sean Connery Judge and Orly's "Eeeeeeek!"

I'm aware that I have been gone for the past week, but I'm VERY busy right now. I lost my headphones first of all, so it will be a bit harder to do stuff. I also just got the last voice clip I need, so I can finally start.

It will take a while to come out though <_<. Don't worry, other ones won't take as long :D.
