Why is it numb? D=

Anyways, I was feeling graphicless today, plus I had been wanting to use a quote from the fifth episode of Sola. So, I made a wallpaper!
(Isn't that how everyone reacts? =0)
http://s248.photobucket.com/albums/gg176/bibliomaniac0/?action=view&current=sola_flying_wp_flattened.png Not full size, actually. It should be larger. But...I like it because I got to use my wing brushes! =D

*andnowI'mmamakeanEdgeywallpaper*

In other news, I've started a request thread in the SOS Brigade too! ^^ I completed a request over there. *youshouldchecktheSOSBrigadeoutandnothisisn'tshamelessadvertisingpsshhhh* Anywaaays...

What advertising? =0 I don't see any advertising heeere...

All right ^^ I've made another wallpaper. This time, it's Edgey, of course. I spent the entire day rampaging through dA favoriting Edgey fanarts. This one needed something to honor it.

Fanart from here. http://Popo-Licious.deviantart.com/art/Edgeworth-78458587 <3 Fluffffyyyyyy Edgey...

http://i248.photobucket.com/albums/gg176/bibliomaniac0/youcanonlyfight_edgey_wp_flattened.png
There's a tribute to Masha hidden somewhere-something that doesn't quite fit. See if you can find it.
...And yes, Masha, the wallpaper is indeed flattened =D

I was wondering I really want a graphics tablet :grey: but I don't know how much they are or which ones are good...
so I wanted to ask if you knew? Since earlier in your post you mentioned getting a graphics tablet. And I don't want to pay tons of money for a terrible one or get a cheap - non-working one. So I thought I'd ask you :redd:
Thank you!

@ Harumi-chan: Thanks so much! You're a wonderful graphic artist as well. I look forward to being graphic buddies on the Brigade!

@Angel-chan: Thanks! Well, from what I know, Wacom is a really great line. I think my stepdad has one (for photography) and he really likes it. Vicki said that she likes hers too. The REALLLLLLY expensive ones (namely, the new Cintiq line) are, what, 2000 American dollars? The one that I bought, however, was only around $90 on Amazon. I'm sure it works well, but I can give a more detailed report when I get it, probably tomorrow or possibly Friday.

If I may offer my three cents (I like the number better than two) regarding the tablet business based on personal experience? :]
This is for anyone who has general questions regarding tablets.

Spoiler: Since this is somewhat considered off-topic, I'll spoilerize this.
The Cintiq is expensive for a reason, and is only meant to be for professionals who work extensively in the field with primarily programs like Illustrator and Photoshop. The high price (about 2k) obviously does not pay off if you’re taking on graphic art as a hobby. (I know most of you probably know this, but I know a bunch of people who don’t, so this is just general wisdom.)

The Bamboo and other similar Wacom tablets are perfectly fine for drawing and other graphic art – for example, the Bamboo is fine for what Biblio wants to do. The more expensive the brand, usually the more sensitivity there is with the pen. I don’t recommend buying a tablet over 200$ if you’re not seriously considering pursuing graphics/drawing as a career. You can already do so much and more with the 100$~ tablets.

So, the price for a good tablet (mine was 120$ and it’s still great) is going to be about 100$.

My last blip of advice is that Wacom is THE tablet brand. I’ve heard brief, decent comments about other tablet brands, but honestly, if you search for Wacom tablet reviews there is no doubt that they’re the “to-go-to” company for tablets.

What line of Wacom do you own if that is the one you own? I know friends that have the Intuos line and they like it very much. They say it is like drawing on paper. I'll probably go for the Bamboo Fun as well because I'm not that big of an artists, but I would like more control over the graphics manips I do. Especially when it comes to redrawing lines and such on pictures. I'll have to show you what I'm talking in my topic because I'm not going to hijack Biblio's for something like (or anything becuase I think that would be rude.)

Wait, that sounds way more creepy than I meant it to. >_<;;

Hey, I've been stalking this place for a while. I probably spend more time looking at people's graphics than making any, so it figures. XP
I just thought I'd FINALLY tell you that I like your stuff a lot. Really, you're improving in leaps and bounds.
Anyway, I'm pretty envious of how you can use brushes so well. I recognise some of those, actually. They're lurking in my brushes folder somewhere, waiting until I know how to treat them right. *cough*inotherwordsyouhaveseriouslygoodtaste;P*cough*
Carry on making those trademark squares of yours, and you'll be totally blowing me out into the water by next week. ;D

On a side note: I have an Aiptek Media Tablet 14000U. It works but it's kind of ehhhhh and there's a problem with the pen pressure. :P

Ah, so I did get my graphics tablet! It works wonderfully. (coughcoughtegakiherecoughcough) (coughcoughgototheobjectingcloudsoneandreadthecomments) I really have no complaints whatsoever. ^^ Although I suppose sometimes it does skip. Other than that, it's excellent.

...So I'm a bit irked because Photoshop closed just as I was putting the finishing touches on a wallpaper. >< But here's one I made before for zeh phonepod...I also made a blue version, but. Anyways, Happy Monday. Or something.
