Was I ever assigned anything in this project? I don't remember, you guys got everything you need? Just PM me an answer if you don't feel like responding in thread.

To all members the audition for edgeworth was by me and not oneknux just to clarify that also my audition was done on a bad mic so once i get a new one i will be perfect for edgeworth as the other candidates dont quite fit the role thanks again prosX

Here, for all to see:

[spoiler=THE SCRIPT v.1.0][The apartment door opens, and Cindy walks in with a suitcase. She walks to a table and takes the Thinker out of her bag, looks at it and smiles a little, then sets it down. She presses a button on the nearby answering machine.]

Answering Machine: You have 58 new messages.

[Cindy presses the button again with a surprised look on her face.]

Automated Message: Saturday. August. First. Ten. Oh. Five. AM.

Answering Machine (Larry): "Hey, baby, Larry here. Uh, I don't know if you got my other messages, but we really need to get together again sometime, y'know? I mean, what's it been, 2 months-"

[She rolls her eyes and presses another button several times.]

Automated Message: Message deleted.

Automated Message: Saturday. August. First. Ten. Oh. Seven. AM.

Answering Machine (Larry): "Hey, baby, Larry again. I thought that maybe you misplaced my number it's 9-

Automated Message: Message deleted.

[She walks into her bedroom and tosses her suitcase into the corner before sitting down on her bed. With a sigh, she squeezes her eyes shut and rubs her temples as if she has a headache.]

Automated Message: Saturday. August. Third. Eleven. Fifty. Six. AM

Answering Machine (Sahwit): Hm? Oh, sorry. Wrong number!

Automated Message: Saturday. August. Third. Twelve. Thirty. Nine. AM

Answering Machine (Larry): Hey, baby! It's Larry! I thought I might stop by your place, see if everything's alright. I should be there in about twenty minutes. See you there!

[Cindy pushes a button on her answering machine]

Automated Message: All. Messages. Deleted. End of Messages.

[Suddenly, there's a crash. She starts, then cautiously walks out into the living room.]

[Close-up on the Thinker as a shady-looking hand grabs it. The hand swings the Thinker through the air, and... THUD! Cindy falls to the floor. The hand, very shakily, sets the Thinker back on the table.]

??? (aka Sahwit): [out of breath and very freaked out] Oh no... no... no! What... What have I done?! It's all over... I'll rot in prison for the rest of my life! ...No... somebody's got to take the fall for this...

[close-up on his face, but the top part is shadowed, so all you can see is his EBIL grin.]

???: ...And it's not gonna be me.

[He walks to the door and looks out into the hallway, Larry is walking by. He notices ???, looks over his shoulder and waves at him.]

???: I'll pin this murder on him!

[Cue Opening Theme]

[End Opening Theme]

[The sun starts shining, birds start chirping slightly as the sun is zoomed out and pans over to view the entire office as Phoenix walks in.]

Phoenix (A little tired, speaking in a yawn): *Yawns* Morning, Chief!

Mia (On her computer, cup of coffee in hand): Morning, Phoenix. How are you this morning?

Phoenix: Oh, I'm doing okay.

[Phoenix moves to recline on the couch, sighing in relief as he does so.]

Mia (Continuing to type on her computer when the phone rings. Mia takes it): Fey and Co. Law Offices. [pause] Uh-huh. [pause] Uh huh. [pause] Uh huh. Well, you know our rates, ri- [pause] I see. Well I'll ask him.

Mia (putting her hand over the receiver): Phoenix, someone is requesting you to be their attorney. Interested?

Phoenix: (Lazily) Hmm...? What's the case?

Mia: It's a murder case.

Phoenix: (Sarcastically) What idiot would ask exclusively for me?

[Mia takes her hand back off the receiver and puts it back over her ear]

Mia: Sorry, but what was your name...? *Pause* I see. (To Phoenix) He says his name is Larry Butz.

[Phoenix's face slowly becomes more and more shocked, making noises to reflect this. He rushes over to the phone and snatches it from Mia, to her surprise.]

Phoenix: Larry! Don't worry about a thing! I'll represent you in court, you have my word!

[Phoenix hangs up the phone, then grabs his coat and rushes out the door.]

Mia: Phoenix!? What's the matter?!

[Locks the office and runs after Phoenix, who is running at a fast pace.]

{Scene Transition ~ Detention Center}

Phoenix: I'd like to see Mr. Butz please.

Guard: Wait a few minutes...

[Guard leaves to retrieve Larry, who you can hear sobing in the background.]

[At this point, Mia comes in, short of breathe]

Mia: W-will *gasp* you te-ll me *gasp* what's the matter now...?

[Phoenix looks grim as he slowly turns towards the Cheif, a.k.a. Mia]

Phoenix: This man... Larry Butz, is a close friend of mine.

Mia: (sympathetically) So that's why you dashed out...

Phoenix: (Jokingly) You could say he's the reason why I wanted to be a defense attorney...

Mia: (surprised) That's news to me. Why don't you tell me abo-

[Larry entersand starts to break out in a rush of emotions]

Larry: WAAAHHHH! Nick! My Cindy... MY LOVELY CINDY!!! Please Nick help me get outta here! They think I did it... But she was my cupcake! How can they think that!

[Phoenix performs a facepalm]

Phoenix: (soothingly) Calm down Larry... tell me what happened.

Larry: Dude, my girl... MY CINDY! She's d...d...

Phoenix: Dead?

Larry: (Switching over to fearful) Y-yeah! and they think I did it! They put it in this paper too.

[Larry hands Nick the Local Paper, where he reads the front page. Phoenix reads aloud:]

Larry Butz, Age 22, was arrested this morning on the grounds of murdering his girlfriend, Ms. Cindy Stone, in her apartment building.

[Phoenix pauses and looks at Larry who is biting his nails. He then continues.]

A statement by the police investigators reveals that Ms. Stone was killed by being hit with a blunt object. The object in question, however, has no yet been revealed to the public. Mr. Butz's trial has been scheduled for this afternoon.

[Nick stops reading and looks at Mia]

Phoenix: I'm taking Larry as my first client Chief...

Mia: A murder trial right off the bat? That really says alot about you... and Mr. Butz here. Okay then.

[Both leave the DC and walk over to the courthouse]

{Scene Transition ~ Courthouse: Defendant's Lobby}

[spoiler=Script from pros x v1.0]The screen opens up to the view of the city to which music is played as you see lots of happy things such as people playing and people in cars etc, until the music turns dark or fades and it pans towards cindy's house

Cindy: "What?, what's this? another missed call, who from I wonder.
Checks her phone contacts "...Larry" and with a muted sigh she then places it down ready to go out of the apartment. She opens the door and sees a dark shadow in front of her and an expression of fear and shock appears on her face.

Meanwhile larry is walking up the stairs and heads towards her room and see's the door open

Larry: "Cindy are you in there?" he shouts with a little confusion sensing no reply
he then heads closer towards the door while the shadow is still across the corridor

Figure: *gasp*...gasp*...

"Dammit! ...Why me?"

"I can't get caught
Not like this!"

"I-I've gotta find someone
to pin this on"

He then looks round and is distracted by a large haired figure heading towards the same room he came from.

"Someone like... him!"
He begins to regain his breath from a sudden adrenaline rush from the idea of him framing the murder

"I'll make it look like
HE did it!" now his expression growing more and more sinister.

Sure enough larry reaches the apartment and enters hapharzordly

Larry: "Cindy, c'mon babe don't leave me out in the cold.....hey you've got the door open, getting some fresh air? Anyway I have something to tell you babe....I......" he then sees the body of his other on the floor drenched in her own blood.

"Cindy??!......C....Cindy babe???.........CINDY!!!!!!!!!!"

After a moment of shock and awe, police sirens echo in the background and dramatic music begins to play.


*Phoenix Wright anime theme tune begins*

Resuming the movie, the camera is panning across the city again and all is quiet in the early morning.

You see a cat walk towards a spot and lay down to rest.......a few seconds later a bike suddenly rushes past and makes the cat jump out of it's skin

Phoenix: "Sorry, I'm going to be late!"

Sure enough Phoenix is riding on his bike to the courts for his first trial, with a slice of toast in his mouth.

Through a few scenes of comedy regarding phoenix rushing through washing lines and getting undergarments on his head and unintentional bike stunts, he's still on the road not crashing or falling until he reaches the courts.

He finally gets there and parks his broken bike up

"Man I wish I had a proper means of transport" he says to himself with a sigh

Once inside he's looking round at the courts remembering the trial where he was the suspect, although you see vague images of the flashback, he sees young mia looking at him and shouting Wright at him. Sure enough the flashback ends by the current Mia interupting him by shouting Wright!

Phoenix: "Oh hiya chief!" he said still in a daze

Mia: "Phew I'm glad I made it on time" she said wiping a tear of sweat away from her forehead.
"Well I have to say Phoenix I'm impressed, not many people take a murder trial right off the bat like this you know...says a lot about you and your client as well"

Phoenix: "Umm thanks.......er...chief!"

Mia: "Now now Phoenix, I do have a name, It's Mia"

Phoenix: "Oh yes, sorry" he said awkwardly, rubbing his hand down his neck.

Mia: "I havent heard of our client yet, what's their name again?"

Phoenix: "His name's Larry and I kind of owe him a favour anyway"

Mia: "Oh you knew the client before this case?" she said slightly surprised.

Phoenix: "Yes, you see he was one of the reasons why I became a lawyer"

Mia: "News to me!"

Phoenix: "Yeah, I just want to help him, he's my friend, I owe him that much..."

Then the voice actor doing larry can add their own version of the doomsday lines he says next if they wish...
