Meh, I just finished my MCA's for math/reading. (That's Minnesota Comprehensive Assessment ;p) Now, I have a whole month before the science ones...

...But then there's the enormous WWII project, the one I wrote that story-thing for. But my teacher extended the due date for that...

Our standard of learning (SOL) tests are coming up. I need to take one for History & Science. I take an English one next year. You don't really have ones for Drama or chorus and you don't take math ones after Algebra II.

Masha: They separate them that much? Oi. Yeah, I was taking standardized tests too- the STAR tests. (Stupid Tests Are Randomohwaitguessthat'snotithuh) Nah, dunno what it stands for. *looks up* Oooh, the Standardized Testing and Reporting test. Awesome. (Ilikeminebetter) We did ours something like this:
Monday: Normal.
Tuesday: English for all grades *except for seniors, who don't have it any of the days.* All periods afterwards are 50 minutes.
Wednesday: Tenth graders have to come in at the normal time to take the two sections of Social Studies tests. Everyone else comes in at 11:10 to have fifty minute periods. We laugh at the tenth graders in our heads.
Thursday: Everyone comes in at normal time to take math tests. Fifty minute periods.
Friday: Eleventh graders come in at normal time to take a Social Studies test. Everyone else is supposed to come in at 9:30. However, my sister is in eleventh grade, so I have to waste two hours in the library. At 9:30, we go off to take Science tests. Biology is extremely easy.
Oh, so there's more to the project? Wow, that is big...kinda like our African tribe reports in seventh, I guess. Doing what again? Telling me about your life? XD Gosh, I don't mind.

Nah, they have math/reading in 2 weeks, but science is in May because we have to go over EVERYTHING we learned in middle school science. Yeah...
And for that AILA project, I have to watch 2 documentaries, write a comparison document about them; read Anne Frank, another WWII book; watch a drama/movie about the Holocaust and write a paper on it; make a "Butterfly" thing, (idk, we're doing it in class later); write another poem on the Holocaust; find a poem about the Holocaust by another author, and write about it; complete another assingment in class about WWII paintings; create your own artwork depicting the Holocaust and write about it; and find another artwork about WWI, and write about it. And do that story thing.

...Yeah.

AND I HAVE A REQUEST.

Since I got a new phone, I want a new WP for it, so...

I'm sorry to bump this when it's this far back, but I figured I'd come back one last time to officially announce my departure. It doesn't seem right to just leave this hanging. At first I wasn't spending time here because I didn't have enough time during the school year. But when I came back to check on things, it seemed like the atmosphere had changed somehow. The large amount of talented graphic artists leaving didn't help anything. So, I'm afraid I have to leave these forums. I just don't really feel comfortable posting here anymore. This thread and Vicki's was what kept me here for a while, but now that Vicki is gone and this thread is suitably buried in the past there's nothing to tie me down anymore. I'm sorry to any friends that I may have made or any promises I didn't keep. If you do have any requests, it would be best to give them now, though I may or may not check on this thread once in a while.
