Why so apologetic? I love making stuff and filling requests! True, sometimes I don't everything done as fast as I'd like it, but it's not like you should be worried about requesting. I do 'advertise a service', in a kind of way, so it would be pretty unreasonable for me to get angry at people for requesting in any case.

I like the banner. Something that troubles me though is that the upper half of the face can't be seen, and also, It troubles me that you put the ISML text twice.

It may be because I'm used for the eyes to be visible, but for me I don't like that as much. It's more traditional or something, I don't know, but I prefer visible eyes xD

If you don't mind, I have a simple request that's a bit different from the ones you usually get.
Do you think you could make a logo for me? I would ideally like to have a logo that reads "The Black Turnabout" for a fancase I'm making with Bad Player. If Turnabout Substitution is any indication, it should be pretty popular, so you can expect to see that logo a lot in the AA fandom once it comes out. Naturally, you'll get credited for it.
Cases don't usually get their own logo, so don't bother trying to make it similar to the AA logo - it should have a personality of its own.
It has to be elegant, dark and ominous at the same time. It also has to correspond to the name of the case in terms of colour scheme, so venturing outside of black, white and grey is probably not a good idea. Basically, light/dark contrasts or something like shadows should be privileged rather than colours. Other than that, you can pretty much trust your instincts as an artist.

I'd like to take this opportunity to say that I LOVED Turnabout Substitution, it was utterly brilliant. Well, you must get that a lot, but it really was really very good. *ahem*
I spent a while on this (mostly trying to pick out the right fonts), but I think this looks good :)

I always go to dA for tutorials, still do, and now I don't think there are many functions in Photoshop that can't be replicated somehow in GIMP, so after you get the hang of things it should be quite simple to use any kinds of PS tutorials.

As for resources, textures, brushes, etc. are freely available on dA and everywhere, and this is a great place for C4Ds. Although, you know, googling stuff works too. If you (or anyone) would like I can upload my collection of brushes somewhere, since I've built it up over about a year and it's pretty darn comprehensive.
You could also go ask Dawn, who hasn't been around here for a while and does more spritework, but made the most wonderful graphics with GIMP. Hopefully she won't mind.

It´sa me again and after thinking a lot for my newest set I came to the conclusion: Why not the most obvious most awesome combination?

That crack is from Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, when Simon punches a mech through the screen and breaks the universe. I thought it was fitting.
