I still have no interest in the DSi since my DSLite works great... and so does my armored DS, actually. So.. no idea.
Oh yeah, I had forgotten what the game looked like. Yeah, I'm not a big fan of neon bright colors. That's saying something, since I enjoy a good level of contrast.
Yuziki: The matrix comment wasn't meant as a bad thing - just an observation. Usually green on black with the vertical alignment reminds me the matrix-style. ;D
I'm bummed to learn that the brushes came like that... there's a few ways to make character brushes without the pixelation around it. I'll try to do so in the future and see how it goes.

I perform for family every so often. I don't have a lot of friends to perform for. :P
And even though I know my DS won't be back for around a week or so (and I'm going to Disney in a couple of weeks - I hope Nintendo's fast!) I got Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow and another game, Master of Illusion. Supposedly MoI lets your DS do a ton of magic tricks, and it teaches you too. It comes with a marked deck of cards (it feels like a short pack too - when I turn a card over it seems to stick out a little, as reversed cards do in short packs - maybe it's my eyes? I dunno.)
Those two games are like welcome-back presents to my DS, but for me they're two carrots dangling in front of my donkey nose! I can always use my sister's DS though.

There was a letter in a previous issue of Nintendo Power from a person who said that the DSi was the best portable system EVER released. It was a fountain of praise. Oh wow.

Cirqus Voltaire...it's like staring into the sun. People say it's the most beautiful pinball machine out there. I don't agree. The title belongs to ToM, and not because it's my favorite, it's because it's true. Compare for yourself.

To my extremely vague understanding, the DSi is just smaller and has two cameras. It also allows for exclusive content like DSiWare and whatnot... nothing I would be all "OH MY GOD AWESOME" about, but I would have to obviously experience it firsthand before I make such a decision about a product.

Yes! and it leaves you with valuable knowledge! My sister (who I saw it with) and I were watching cash cab and one of the video bonus questions was about clouds. My sister and I knew the answer because it was said in the movie

This is my first time going to Disney since I was 8. Eight years later...finally, we're going again! We're staying for a week. During that time, we're going to Cirque du Soleil, some freaky dinner show, and the parks (of course.) There is one park (it changes nightly, i think but don't know) that's open until like 3 in the morning, and there's like nobody there at the time.
I hope you do get to go to Disney sometime. *pats your back*

Smaller? o__O The Lite is the perfect size for me. The DSi also has SD card and music support, I believe.

I understand the amusing quality of taking pictures of yourself and using them in some DSi games, but meh. If I already have the Lite, I'm not motivated enough to "upgrade."

True. Especially with iPods. Then Apple blames you for breaking them when you send them back. That's why I use the Zen by Creative. Better and cheaper - two things that don't usually work but my year-old Zen is still working, whereas my iPod mini failed after three months. I love supporting the underdog.

100-something = $169.99 US (at the moment.) :3
Do you remember the Game Boy Camera? It was for the original Game Boy, it went in the back and had a built-in rotatable lens. I got it for Christmas one year. It had error messages that scared the bejeezus out of me (i could give you a youtube link, but it hurts ME even to look XD)
Well, that's basically the DSi camera's grandpa. Game Boy Camera was the best! It really was.
Let me put it this way: I love my DS Lite. Nothing wrong with it. So I don't feel obligated to move up to a DSi, but I certainly wouldn't pass one up if it were offered to me. I'm not paying $170 for a few extra features - for me, it's all about the game. I got 22% through Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow in a single day. Good? Bad? I don't care, as long as I'm playing it and am not sidetracked by gimmicks. *is shot*
Will the price drop by September (my birthday?) If not that soon, I'll wait for the price to fall and if things get especially good, I'll ask for it whenever. I'm broke right now.

You know, that movie was just brilliant on every level. I can't decide between Up or Coraline for best 3D movie ever.
I also got to playing Master of Illusion, and it's pretty neat. Some of the tricks had me gasping aloud (and yes, I have an Encyclopedia of Card Tricks so I can actually spoil myself with the secret - I still loved it.) Barbara from Daigasso! Band Brothers runs the game's magic shop and is the game's main menu guide. I personally don't think Barbara fits in the game. She retains the piercings, outfit and all in MoI, still looking more like a rockstar than a magician. But eh, she's only in the menus, and the whole matter is relatively trivial, so it doesn't really matter much. MoI is pretty fun.

I love Coraline!! :) It was so well done... and then I learned that Neil Gaiman wrote the book (never read it), and my friends are big fans of his work. I have to get around to reading some of his other books sometime.

It's a small camera for the Gameboy, and you could print off the photos you take on the Gameboy Printer, a sold sperately accessory. You could also add little Mario themed stamps to the pics you print. It's sorta like Mario themed purikura.

Soon enough, I will ignore requests made if requests are closed. This is for my sanity - I have way too much on my plate to handle a waitlist with ten+ requests a week anymore.
