Been trying out a few tutorials, with varying amounts of success. Still can't get the hang of smudging. Oh well, I think a few came out okay~

I would have to disagree with you in saying you can't get the hang of smudging. You got a hold on contrasts in your use of lighting and colors. And blending is quite nice. That sig in particular, I like. It really shows your insight.

To be honest I learnt most of what I have (which still isn't that much) by following tutorials on dA and so on. I started at the same time I started this thread, over a year ago now, and my graphics really... weren't that great. But I got better! (Hopefully :P)

Although... yes, that would be hard to fit into a sig (do you have a specific size requirement?). It would be easier to make as a wallpaper or banner. But if you need a sig, of course I'll make it for you~

About the render: I dont have an Idea.
Size should be the maximum, which is allowed.
About eventual colors: All kinds of pink and some red and green, fitting for christmas.
