Edgeworth's Adventure is a serious of ridiculously over the top boss battles set within the Phoenix Wright universe, with Edgeworth being the main character. Each episode took only a few hours to make, so excuse the lack of eye candy for most of them. They're playable games, but as I'm lazy I've just uploaded videos of each one. I assume that since these are just videos, it goes here and not in the fan-game forum.

First up is Edgeworth's Adventure The First, starring Godot. This one has a pretty big PW3 spoiler in it, so I don't recommend watching it if you haven't finished PW3. Obviously this is the first one I made, so it's pretty basic compared to the others. Unlike #2 and #3, it doesn't have an "ending".

Then there's Edgeworth's Adventure The Second, starring Troupe Gramarye. Apollo Justice character spoilers here. This is the only one where you fight two at a time, but the concept made for some interesting ideas. Also, an award-winning ending.

The last one I made in this style was Edgeworth's Adventure The Third, starring Gant. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney spoilers, specifically case 1-5. A bit of lag during the more intense parts, due to fraps not liking my computer. This ending won the nobel prize in literature.

There's also a 3-part series I made called "Edgeworth's Grand Adventures", which is basically the same thing as Edgeworth's Adventure, but with multiple bosses per episode, adventure segments, and a plot revolving around soap smuggling. Episode 1 Part 1/2 is here, and Episode 1 Part 2/2 is here.

Anyways, hopefully you enjoy them.

...........

Tell me the truth. How many drugs were involved in the making of this series?

Anyway, this is superb. Please keep going.

I enjoyed that... thoroughly...especially Gant's evidence explosion...great job!

Just out of curiosity, what program did you use to make this?
Some secret wait to be discovered...some never are...
Some secrets lay in the shadows...and Justice is the Light...

These are awesome and very creative! The final boss should be von Karma or Wright.

Surprisingly none. I mostly worked on these late at night though, so probably a byproduct of a lack of sleep.

Game Maker. Sounds silly, I know, but it uses its own unique coding language. It's like C++, but simplified greatly. I use it because it gives me a lot of flexibility while still being relatively simple to use.

As for everything else said, it's good to know it's being received well. I should have part one of the first episode of Edgeworth's Grand Adventure up in a bit, so keep an eye out for that. They're like the other games, but with ridiculous investigation segments to compliment the bosses/minigames.

First episode of Edgeworth's Grand Adventures uploaded, had to split it into two parts. This episode contains lovely features like totally serious dialogue, minigames disguised as bosses, bosses disguised as bosses, and soap smuggling.

Here's part 1, and here's part 2.

The bosses aren't as complicated as the others due to most of the time spent on the "investigation" portion, but hopefully you enjoy it all the same.

THAT WAS BLOODY GODDAMN BRILLIANT.

And gold stars to you for the Earthbound, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger and what looked like Zelda backgrounds.

That's THE LEGEND OF ZELDA A Link to the Past backgrounds for ya, pal (with a mix of the Clocktower Town theme from Majora's Mask). :gregory:

Well, I'd only played it once in that 25th anniversary DSWare thing, so I couldn't remember which it was :-P

Yep, the backgrounds were from Earthbound, Secret of Mana, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, and Mother 3. Those were pretty much the only... compatible backgrounds I could find, so I mostly just use those.

Anyways, the second episode is up. Here's part 1, and here's part 2. This episode has more "thrilling" mysteries, award-winning dialogue, bosses that almost kill me, and the great escape. Ace Attorney Investigation spoilers, obviously- pretty much every AAI character is in the series, as well as some spoiler animations.

The final episode will probably be uploaded tomorrow, which just consists of the final boss and the ending, so there you have it.

Like I REALLY want to play those games and if I didn't see this I probably tried to make it myself.
So could you put a download or something? It would probably have to be put in a different topic but you could put a link to where you post it. Thanks! :edgey:
