Finally, after 2 months of hard labor, I finished the first part of my game... (and by first part of the game, I'm talking about the 1/3 of Turnabout Butz, for the anime freaks ;)) and I don't know if I will continue making it. :acro: I already posted a similar topic in the defendant's room section, which got burried by all the other topics and contained a kinda primitive version of it, but now it's much more improved.

I made it so it looks like the real Phoenix Wright, although it is impossible, so perfection is one of my goal. It all started when I wanted to test the case maker, and then I tested more and more and decided to do a case. So as you have guessed it, this case is totally improvised, which means I didn't planned anything at the beginning. And btw, my english vocabulary sucks, since english is my third language. :larry: .

So it features :
-25 minutes of Courtroom drama.
-You can make objection and present evidence, although its a little bit primitive. (it's really simple)
-Some home-made evidence.
-The same characters personnality.
-And you'll see...

Some hints: Yes, at some part, you can lose at the game and restart all over. I suggest you to review your Court Record closely. Review every evidence.
:zenitora: IMPORTANT NOTICE :zenitora: : Please press the LAST sentence at the LAST cross-examination (with allegro examination music). Do not press anything else, or it will bug. I went kinda lazy at the end so....

And here it is: http://rapidshare.com/files/61485938/Tu ... Butz_1.exe
It's 50 mb, hope you have the patience!

I have the murderer, all the witnesses in my head, the logical explanations, but I don't feel I have the guts to do it again, it's very long and tiring. Well, if I'm really doing one, the next part will include investigation (again with the primitive mechanism) and courtroom drama #2. The game will contain 3 parts, last one is cracking down the murderer. :beef:

And I'm still indecisive about making a team, since there is school and I don't have much time. Well, if I decide to make one, I would need the following folks:
-A Scenarist (makes the case, something that is possible for me to create. It could be a fanfic writer.)
-A sfx/graphic dude (Remix sound and music, edits graphics, all the special effects like gifs etc.)
-And a corrector (like a beta tester, plays the game, makes correction about the sentence etc.)
Well, it would be great if we make a case. It would encourage people to buy the game.

Anyways, that's it. I hope you like it, any comments would be great, negative or positive, they all build the world.

Since the credits roll will be at the end of the 3rd part, I'll make it right here.
-FIRST OF ALL, mother of the game that pwns everything, all credits go to Capcom.
-Then, I would really thank the Court-Record community. They fed me with the case maker, the evidence, the graphics rips, the locations, the gifs etc... without you, this project would have never existed. I took everything from this site, and I recommend it to everyone that is a fan of Phoenix.
-Finally, one dude that no one knows cuz it's a close friend of mine, Jeje who made beta tester.
*edit*-Dammit, I almost forgot on this one! Thanks to the father of case maker, Mechabowser. This dude rocks. You made a good job on this baby, and I hope you'll upgrade it to version 3!

Notice: 1.Sorry for the moon. 2. It's : I didn't kill her, not I didn't killed her.

That is all! The Court is adjourned.*Paf*

Sorry. I can't completely review your demo right now. Everytime I run ANY case made with this thing, it runs SLOW AS HELL. This has never happened to me before. Even my own cases are SLOW. I'm not sure what the problem is, but it's not you or your demo case. It's me, somehow....

But from what I could tell. It was pretty good so far. Although Phoenix's and Payne's zoom faces below the bottom screen should be moved out before you can press the arrow key. not afterwards.

I kind of gave up at your testimony where it said do not hit right button, and I got the bug. I think this should be fixable.

I played through part of the case and I'm willing to be a Beta Tester, grammar and English corrector, etc. I'm also willing to help edit the script as well. Just let me know if you're willing to put a team together!

@Alkia:
Hi, finally I don't think I will really have the guts to do it. I'm really sorry, but to do a whole case, it may take from a full year to half a year, and I can't really do it because of the studies. However, you can create yourself a team and I will of course send you all the codes of my case as a tutorial to follow. If you need further help, I can teach you how to make it with msn messenger. And of course, I'll be very happy to see what you could do. Thanks a lot, I appreciate it!

@N-Mario:
Hi, my my, that's strange, maybe your computer is a P3, cuz if you want to play at full speed, you need a P4. And why I couldn't make the zooming faces move before clicking the button is because I improvised the zooming faces via the scenery options. Anyways, it's kinda complicated, but the case maker is a beta and I found a lot of problems. Here's my list:
-After the first cross-examination, the second and further cross-examination will always press automatically the first statement, although you can avoid this by doing the Hold It manually and by adding a useless statement at first, as I do it with a "...".
-After two cross-examinations, you can't make it return to the start of the testimony, that's why I said do not hit the forward button, hit the previous button.
-After one cross-examination, if we hit the return button, it will return completely to the beginning, and will not return to the last statement.

Anyways, this is a great gadget. I still see great potential and oppurtunity of making a personnal fan-case. It may take some time to adapt with the software, but once you know the ropes of this baby, you can make it run like hell easily. I mostly hope this "test case" will motivate others, and I do hope that someone does a case so I can enjoy it :godot: !! And if anyone needs the code of the case maker, I'll give it as a tutorial, hell I'll do, just PM me.

@Arei:
Hi lol. You're using a Mac, that's nice, but its not designed for games, more for work. Anyways, you don't have to install the case maker, you don't even need the case maker to run this game. Enjoy :gant:

Well, I guess I'm kinda like MechaBowser, giving up in the middle. That's sad, I hoped to do some kind of ZOmg that's ZE CASE of Tugua lasting 2 hours lol. Now, I just can't wait to see if the Real Phoenix Wright fanboy will put effort on this, more than me. And again, sorry for my ununderstandable english.
