Hey guys, just here to drop off this incredibly awesome box art. I designed it and provided the raw materials, and then one of the talented folks at NeoGAF (crisdecuba) assembled it. The idea here is simple - the first Gyakuten Saiban that was released in America is inconsistent with the rest of the series. Justice For All and Trials and Tribulations both followed the Japanese design closely, and so does this. Additionally, the logo always bugged me in the first game, because it isn't the same as the other two. This too has been remedied. Behold the result:

And for comparison, here is the Japanese cover:

Best of all, this redesign comes with a super hi-res version as well. This version is big enough to print and actually replace the real cover.

I do hope you all enjoy it. I know I am.

Thumbs up! I like it, kupo!
If I had a printer, I'd replace my PAL boxart with this.

That is awesome! It truly keeps to the style of the Phoenix Wright boxarts... Unlike the one they used for the first AA game... Very professional-looking, as the others have said. Looks like the cover was meant to be that way.
Thank you for reading. I hope you have a wonderful day.
100% pure Joy.
Excellent source of puns.

It does indeed, doesn't it? Thank you for the positive feedback - I've got some followup pictures now! I had the cover printed today and did the replacement. Here's what it looks like when inserted into a real box in real life:

And here it is alongside the rest of my proud collection. You can see how well it fits the series:

Whoa, I'm VERY impressed. I used to style all my cd cases years ago.. it's a pity the PW covers aren't very, well, consistent - position of the logo, suddenly there's a striped background for JFA, etc. Nonetheless, with your redesign, that is a very sweet series. :D

Yep, it was linked in the first post:

Just so you know, after careful examination of the printed cover, I've identified three very minor imperfections. For those who care to know what they are, here are the issues:

1. It seemed just a bit short, so I double checked, and it is indeed a mere 9 pixels short of the standard.
2. Part of the DS side bar is a bit faded. This can't be seen in the photograph, it's only noticeable up close.
3. The spine is of noticeably inferior quality when placed next to the other two games.

All of these things can be fixed fairly easily, and I might talk to cris about getting them fixed later. For now it still looks great, and only a perfectionist like myself can find something to complain about. Enjoy!
