Thank you, SA, for the comment.
Here's the next part, Court I

"Is that all the evidence?" asked the yellow-haired attorney. Godfrey Cyrus Rime. Most Arrogant DA. Not too bad, decided Nabasco. He had collected all the evidence (which was the autopsy report, the victim's shoe and the murder weapon) from the officer.
"Y-y-yessir!" stammered the officer in charge, Rook Kiya, who was the newest detective, and was a bag of nerves. Why Nabasco had chosen him, he didn't know. There were far better detectives who had offered.... And he'd chosen one of the worst. He was good at finding evidence, but a bag of nerves. Nabasco sighed at his own incompetence.
"Your Honour, the evidence clearly shows no way to implicate the defendant." said Godfrey, his grey eyes twinkling slightly.
"Why, I believe you may be right, Mr. Rime." said the Judge, easily flustered by the DA. Nabasco sighed again. Why was he stuck with two rookies? A new Judge, who hadn't pounded his gavel before, and an officer who had no backbone.

"Your Honour, you are being deceived by bravado. The knife clearly bares the defendant's fingerprints. As it's the murder weapon, it's more then likely that he did it. The Victim's shoe has been trodden on by the barefooted defendant. IT all points to him!" explained Nabasco, feeling ever so slightly smug.
"Don't get cocky, Nabasco." came the voice from next to him. Saria was his co-council, but only promised to show him the ropes, not tell him how to win. If she did, he would never be a good prosecutor with her by hsi side.

"And I say that the knife WASN'T the murder weapon. After all, I checked the body myself. The wound has a slight cut to the right. This," said Godfrey, pulling out a knife, with a jut to the right, "is the actual weapon. It bares no prints."

"Not true!" cried Nabasco, his damaged mouth frowning.
"On the contrary. Here is a photo of the body." He showed the court the photo, and there was a slight cut to the right. "Oh, and the shoe? The defendant stood on it by accident at an earlier date."
"You must be right, I find the defendant..."
It was then that the lights went out. A minute later, a minute that felt like an hour of bated breath, and silence, other then the wind, the lights came back on. And the Judge was on the floor, next to his chair. There was pinprick in his arm. He'd been drugged unconsius during the blackout! The bailiff ordered a recess to check the Judges condition.
