I honestly have no idea what I'm doing with this. The idea was just spurred by this image and I had to write it. Jenna's encouragement and willingness to edit helped it along too...gods help us...

Mia sat alone in her office. It was a cold night and her sister was due to arrive any minute. She barely lifted her eyes when she heard the door open, fully expecting it to be Maya coming in.
"I'm almost ready, just have to look over these-" It wasn't until she realized that the person in the corner of her eyes was much too tall and sparkly to be her sister that she stopped. Her head jerked to the side making her hair dance on her back. "Red White!"
"You sound surprised to see me." Chuckled the man in purple. "Now, Miss Fey, I'll take what's mine...the papers."
"I'm sorry, but I can't give you what I don't have." Mia said with a light growl and eyed the cellphone sitting on her desk. Red slammed his white-gloved hands on top of it and leaned in close to her face.
"Miss Fey, you are a poor liar." He declared after a swift look into her face. "Why, I see it right over there..." His eyes slid over to the thinker on her desk. "That must be 'The Thinker' that swallowed those papers."
"How could you know?" Mia asked in mild shock.
"Ho hoh. You are not cogniferous of my background?" He gained a dry smirk. "Gathering information is my business, you see."
"I... I should have been more careful." Mia muttered to herself angrily.
"Ho hoh. My dear Miss Fey. I am so very sorry." His fingers curled around the head of the statue. "But I am afraid I must ask you for one more thing." Mia glared at him, her expression asking the question for her.
"Your eternal silence. Farewell, Miss Fey." He answered grimly and lifted the statue over his head.
However he didn't get the chance to swing downward, as a gunshot rang through the air and his chest began to bleed. If he could, he would have turned around in astonishment, but all he managed to muster was a look of a mild shock before falling to the floor. As he fell down Mia could see the face of her savior. A young woman scantily clad in pink and hearts. Her large chest heaved back and forth as her hands finally slipped to her sides and the gun fell from her nerveless hands to land with a “thunk” on the floor.
"M-ms. Fey?" Her soft brown eyes danced wildly as the reality of her actions settled in. "My name is April May." She put on the sweet sultry smile that made men putty in her hands. "And I think I'm going to need an attorney."

Hey, that pretty much made this one a winner for me. :hotti:

On a serious note, that does remind me of a discussion I once had with some pals - why does April May work with Redd White? If it's because of blackmail, one has to wonder what kind of secrets of hers he's keeping to have her in his palm like that, especially seeing how far she goes in the original game. While she isn't exactly the brightest bulb, she does seem sly enough to at least catch on to when she's been had, so it's not entirely unlikely that she's working with him out of coercion, rather than any real desire to do so. But this is just me rambling.

Do you intend on developing this idea any further?

I might. I have a lot of other things on my plate at the moment. Though you brought up some of the same questions I've had. This was my answer.

Also, the April May in this alternate universe is probably a lot brighter than the one in the canon. Well I'm going to write her that way anyhow. Otherwise she'll annoy me way too much to keep going.
