My name is phoenix Wright, I have had many odd cases through my career but this one has to the oddest and complicated one of them all.

“PHOENIX WAKE UP!!!!!”
“????ARGHH????”
“COME WE’VE GOTTA HAVE THIS CASE GET UP”
Phoenix was dragged from his seat to the musty hallway; Maya was pulling with all her might and kicking him at the same time. Maya was phoenix’s partner in investigations and court, she had once left phoenix to carry on her spiritual training but now she had almost finished the trainings, she could call up anybody to talk to from the spiritual world and her dead sister mia, mia was phoenix’s tutor or teacher, unfortunately she was murdered along with Maya being the suspect, but phoenix won the case but only because mias spirit came to help and has helped phoenix many times whether it is a flash in the mind or mia possessing Mayas body.
“Come phoenix get in the car!”
Maya kicked phoenix in and she shoved him aside and sat down. Maya was puffed out from dragging phoenix so she laid her head down and closed her eyes.
“Where to?”
“Detention centre please”
Guessed phoenix. He was hoping this would be a good case, his recent ones were nothing but petty robberies or car-crashes and he only took them because he needed the money! They arrived at the centre and phoenix rummaged through his pockets for money.
“Eh no…”
Thought phoenix.
“I HAVE NO MONEY!”
“Here you go”
Luckily for phoenix Maya had some money which phoenix assumed she had taken from his wallet. They stepped out the taxi and walked in and showed their I.D cards.
“So who are we visiting?”
“Don’t you watch the morning news?”
“Don’t you sleep in the morning?”
They carried on walking until they came to a window with another room on the side of it. A man walked in, of which phoenix assumed that he was in his 60’s. The man wore brown tight trousers, brown suit and a red tie. He sat down and looked at phoenix and Maya. The hair of the man reminded phoenix of Edgeworths, it was the same style. Edgeworths was phoenix’s rival, well he used to be but he resigned, what he is doing now is a mystery to phoenix. The old mans face also was shaped like Edgeworths.
“So I’m guessing you two are my defense lawyers but I can only have one so I pick the girl”
“WAIT”
Blurted out phoenix
“We two are partners and I’m the one that defends you!”
“You sure that girl looks like she’s had experience”
“I’M BEING BEATEN BY A FEY”
Thought phoenix. Maya was grinning ear to ear; her eyes had that sparkle of when she had made a new friend.
“Just…ok what’s your name?”
“Henry edgeworth”
“Ok thenARGHH Edgeworth?”
“Yes why do you know me?”
“We know miles Edgeworth”
Henry went silent.
“WOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!”
Phoenix fell of his chair, Maya screamed!
“MILES MY PROSECEUTING CHAMP YEH I REMEMBER HIM”
Old man Henry seemed to lighten up all of a sudden.
“You do know he reiPHOENIX!!
Maya kicked phoenix and glared at him, he got the message.
“Yeh I went to one of his cases, amazing stuff!”
“YOU BET YOUR PAPER BADGE BOY!”
“Paper?”
“Anyway what have you been accused of?”
Old man Henry surprisingly still was high in spirits when he was asked.
“Oh murder, of two people, apparently I shot them, I tell you ya I knew I shouldn’t have gone to the shop to get that magazine!”
“I bet I know what that magazine is about!”
“Lucky I haven’t got miles on my case eh!”
“Yeh!”
That raised a point, who was the prosecutor going to be?
“So uh who’s the prosecutor?”
“Oh karma something!”
“WHATTTTT!?!?!”
This time Maya fell of his chair and phoenix screamed!
“HE’S OUT!”
“He it’s she!”
….the room fell silent.
“What?”
“It’s a she, I saw her, carrying a whip quite scary actually!”
Then who is it phoenix wondered.
“Anyway you two go you gotta go and help my case so off with you!”
“Uh yes Mr. edgeworth”
“Now there’s something I never thought I would say”
Thought phoenix.
“Come on nick lets go and investigate!”
*oh joy*

PART 2
Wright & co. offices
“SO WHERE ARE WE GOING THEN NICK”
Phoenix clapped his hands onto his ears.
*great she’s getting all excited*
“COME ON NICK DON’T MAKE ME COPPER SAMURAI YOU”
*copper what?”
SMACK!!
Phoenix was hit right in the face by a kick from Maya.
“OMIGOSH I’m so sorry nick please don’t die”

Shopping mall entrance: 3:34

*I am so gonna sue her*
“HEY PALS”
“Dick gumshoe?”
“Not anymore pals guess what I got my job back!”
“Oh good for you, how did you get it back?”
“The police department took me back since I helped find the dirt on gant”
*why does everybody take my credit?”
“HEY”
Phoenix and Maya jumped in fright!
“Aren’t you that murderer?”
“For the last time NO!”
Maya shouting wasn’t exactly a luxury to behold.
“Alright, alright sorry pal, and your Barry dutz aren’t you pal”
“P-H-O-E-N-I-X W-R-I-G-H-T!!!”
“Okay sorry pal jeez I bet you forget my name sometimes”
*We don’t but we should!*
“So what are you guys doing here?”
“Investigating on the murder!”
“Eh why?”
“WE’RE LAWYERS!”
“Oh right yeh, oh yeh you don’t stand a chance pal you’re against karma!”
*I was meaning to ask about that*
“Detective Manfred von karma is in prison remember?”
“YEH I KNOW THAT PAL I AIN’T DUMB”
*is he sure about that*
“It’s his daughter!”
“Daughter?”
Maya looked happy, and her eyes started to sparkle in the friendship way!
“Why are you so happy?”
“Finally a girl prosecutor to get along with, all you boys are nightmare!”
“How do you think we feel with you?”
“WHAT DID YOU SAY!!?!!?!”
*oh boy*
“Sorry pals gotta go, you can have a look around if you want, you got my permission”
Detective gumshoes permission received.
“What are you doing Maya?”
“I’M THE COURT RECORDS DUH!”
*sigh*
Phoenix and Maya walked split up and searched for clues, but they came back with nothing. They then decided to check out the main hall. There was a out line of the body’s and a out line of what appeared to be a shotgun and a pistol.
“Nick I found something”
Phoenix rushed over to see what Maya had found.
“A bullet?”
“Yeh”
“Odd there’s no ballistic markings!”
“balllickick what?”
*sigh*
When a bullet is shot from a gun it leaves markings, specific markings that can only be made from that gun meaning you can tell if a bullet has been shot from a certain gun. It’s quite accurate.
“WOWSEERS”
“Indeed but I don’t think it warrants a wowseers!”
“You need to be more enthusiastic nick!”
They decided to look upstairs, Maya decided the pet store contained too many cute animals to ignore, nick walked around trailing his hand on the ledge until he came across something that felt like soot, he looked closely and examined the ledge, and he noticed there was white powder there.
“Gun powder maybe?”
It was quite irrelevant since the murder took place below but any evidence seemed to help nick. He took a photo and took some of the powder.
“NICK”
“ARGHHH”
“I found the cutest pet and I bought it!”
“Huh what is it”

“A MOUSE!?!?!”
“Yes and?”
“How are they cute?”
“You don’t understand cute when you see it.”
*sigh*
“Any where we’ve missed?”
Maya thought quickly.
“Didn’t old man Henry say he came to get a magazine?”
“Uh yes I think so why?”
“WE MUST CONFIRM IT COPPER SAMURAI STYLE!”
“So what we’re going to stab him in the head?”
Maya off with her head high ignoring phoenix.
They caught a taxi to the detention centre and walked in. They arrived at where old man Henry was but someone was talking to him, they walked in.
“Excuse me I am talking to this man.”
A woman with short blue hair turned round and glared at phoenix.
“Best you wait outside you two”
Said Henry.
Phoenix and Maya waited for what felt like hours until the woman walked out.
“Sorry but whom are you two?”
“I’m phoenix, she’s Maya.”
“And why were you trying to talk to Mr.edgeworth?”
“Because we’re his defense lawyers”
The woman’s eye became fixed on phoenix.
“Phoenix did you say your name was?”
“Yes, phoenix Wright.”
“YOU PUT MY FATHER IN PRISION”
Phoenix jumped back and hit his head on the wall. Dazed he could make out the woman shouting at him and Maya chasing her mouse.
“Just so you know my name is Franziska, just so you can accuse me and send me to prison”
And with that she marched off.
Phoenix got up with his head pounding; it seemed Maya had retrieved her mouse.
“What a biYOU TWO GET IN HERE”
“Old Henry calls”
*I hate my job*

PART 3
Crime and affairs department
7:12
“It’s really busy here!”
“Well with a murder of two people at the same time what do you expect”
“HEY PAL”
*great I think I just soiled myself*
“So pals got any evidence from the mall?”
“No sorry”
*nice try but no!*
“Although detective I got a mouse!”
“Awww cute I got one at home although he keeps on eating my food!”
*that’s a mouse infestation but I’m not going to tell him*
“Oh and pal I got the autopsy report”
“Both shot eh?”
“Yeh pretty odd pal, two people shot at th…..”
Police sirens flashed outside, policemen ran from all directions.
“Dick get over here we found a body!”
“What, see you later pal!”
Phoenix and Maya pushed their backs against the wall in order to stay out the way of the speeding policemen. After awhile it went quiet again.
“Why you still here chief?”
“I am busy on the computer monitor”
*I bet you are*

Wright & co. offices
“So what now nick?”
“I don’t know, we can’t inspect the mall and there’s no point in questioning old man Henry”
Phoenix landed on the couch and switched on the television to watch the news. Maya sat next to him and snatched the remote off him.
“Come on Maya your always hogging the TV!”
“Nick you must understand….”
“….Understand what?”
“IT’S THE NEW WOOD SAMURAI OF OLDE FORESTE!!”
“Olde forcte what?”
“THE ANCESTOR OF THE STEEL SAMURAI!!”
“Oh yeh that”
“WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT”
“Well it caused enough trouble!”
“DON’T UTTER ANYMORE WORDS OR I SHALL PERFORM A COPPER SAMURAI PUNCH”
*the kick was enough*
15 minutes later
“THAT WAS AMAZING”
“Wait why did the samurai eat the squirrel”
“Duh nick to cross the lake of a thousand rocks”
“But why did he have to eat it?”
“JUST PAY ATTENTION NEXT TIME”
“Ok, ok can I watch the news now?”
“Sure gramps!”
“In other news a dead body was found in the local field. None of the victim data has yet been told, and so far there are no suspects nor any witness’s!”
“I suppose that’s what the police ran off to!”
“Hey nick could we go and look”
“Why not it says in this brochure that murder scenes with dead bodies are the rage this season”
“SUPER WOOD PLUS COPPER COMBER PUNCH”
Phoenix flew out of the room into the hallway.
*this girl has no idea how much pain I’m in*

Local field
20:30

“Wow look at that grass”
“What have you never seen it or something?”
“HEY PALS”
“Oh hi detective”
“Is this grass good looking or what eh?”
*what is this the grass appreciation clubs secret hideout*
“So when was the body killed?”
“On the day of the murder at the mall!”
“What?”
“HEY PAL DON’T MAKE ME REPEAT MYSELF!”
“Wouldn’t that mean a connection?”
“Not really pal it’s only 3 murders in one day!”
*sigh*
“May we look around?”
“If you want, I mean for old time sakes!”
*what old times I’m only 25*
“Nick why are we looking around”
“Because there might be a connection with these murders even though I doubt it”
“Wow look dog poo!”
“What?”
“I mean the sign says no dogs and here we have dog poo!”
“Your point being?”
“NICK IT’S OUR DUTY TO FIND OUT WHY THERES DOG POO HERE!!”
“Will you quiet down poo-girl?”
Phoenix searched around for quite some time until he came across something.
“What’s this?”
“A bullet”
“I’ll have to check out the markings later”
“FOUND SOMETHING PAL??”
“Nope sorry”
“Nick I found out about the dog poo!”
“Tell me tomorrow after court, I need rest if I want a chance of winning!”

“Sup nick-boy”
“Hello Mr. edgeworth nervous?”
“Yep, you?”
“Yes”
“WHATTTTTT!!!!?!?!?”
“You can’t be nervous nick old boy or your gonna lose!!”
“Thanks for the confidence”
“Anytime son”
Maya rushed in a flustered state, she looked out of breath and she appeared to have her hand clutched onto something.
“What’s that?”
She caught her breath.
“OFFICIAL WOOD SAMURAI CARDS!!”
*why did I ask*
“Well come on nick-boy lets do this”

Courtroom 10:05
“Blah blah blah blah blah”
BANG
“The court is now in session, is the prosecution ready?”
“Yes”
*Another karma, I never thought I would be facing a karma in court again, not after last time, after I spent hours racking my brains to find the answer, and then prove it. Just to prove the simple answer that Manfred von karma murdered miles Edgeworths father. But would his daughter be just as tough?”
“WRIGHT!?!”
“Uh sorry what?”
“I-S T-H-E D-E-F-E-N-S-E R-E-A-D-Y??”
“Uh yes your honor sorry!”
“Then let us begin, Franziska your opening statement please?”
“Today it will only be fact, not opinion or guess, just fact!”

“I bring detective gumshoe to the stand to explain the situation!”
“Name”
“Uh pal I ain’t a witness!”
“Oh yes sorry explain the situation then!”
TESTIMONY
“What are you doing Maya?”
“Making things more dramatic!”
The murdering happened last week on Tuesday night
Basically Bruce kassady had gone to the mall and he had a gun with him, a pistol to be exact, a man came past Bruce, for some reason Bruce shot him. Then came Henry Edgeworth who had just been shopping in WHSmith OBJECTION! Shouted phoenix
“Are you sure detective?”
“Yeh pal the person behind the counter said so!”
“Detective…HENRY WENT TO A MAGAZINE AND OBJECTION!!!
*Great…*
“Mr. Wright you do realize WHSmith sell magazines?”
*they do man I need to get out more!*
BANG
“Continue detective!”
Seeing Bruce with a gun Henry strangled him…
OBJECTION!!
“Wait a minute detective you say Henry strangled him?”
“Yes”
“Why would he do that?”
“He panicked and tried to stop Bruce!”
“yes but surely Bruce would of tried to shot him”
“Yeh well he must have missed”
“Detective only two bullets were found, inside that man and oh yes that reveals Bruce could not be strangled…THE OTHER BULLET WAS FOUND IN BRUCE!!!!!
“I uh…?”
“Explain that detective?”
“Bah Mr. Wright you really need to control yourself, Mr. edgeworth must of simply tackled Bruce and took the gun from him and shot him!
“Uh sorry pal that isn’t possible!”
“Whu…What?”
“There were no fingerprints on the gun but bruces…”
“He was wearing gloves obviously!”
OBJECTION
“Since it’s the summer I highly doubt that and he would only wear them if he was going to murder and we all know he has no ties with Bruce kassady.”
…The courtroom fell silent; everybody was looking at the judge.
“Well by now I could give a verdict but still the possibility of Mr. Edgeworth wearing gloves is still possible, detective does the video show him wearing gloves?”
“Actually sir we don’t know, the lights were out in the shop except for one and that was not enough for the CCTV to show his hands clearly so we are doing enlargements and have professionals on the case”
“Hmmm…well now I think we should hear from the witness”
“Yes judge I quite agree, I bring my first witness to the stand!”
A middle aged man walked in, he wore a black suit and trousers, and his hair was left be!
“Name and occupation?”
“Edward Tuskin, my job is too sell buildings for companies!”
“Your testimony please?”
*I already have a bad feeling about this!”

“I went to the mall for business reasons.”
HOLD IT
“What business reasons?”
“Well there shutting down and want to sell it so I came to pick up the information on the building.”
“Anyway the boss was on the top floor, so that’s where I went, after 15 minutes I was walking down the stairs when I heard a gunshot! I rushed back upstairs to get a good view, a body was lying on the floor, with a man with a gun in his left hand, then Edgeworth appeared, Edgeworth ran at the man and tackled the gun off him and the next thing I hear is a gunshot and the man with the gun is dead!”
*this guy is very precise, but I see a few contradictions!*
“Wait you say the man held the gun in his left hand?”
“Yes I am sure of it!”
“I find that hard to believe, the gun had the finger prints from a right hand!”
“Hmmmfff”
“Explain this please Mr. Tuskin?”
“Bah!”
Karma shook her head and smiled.
“I think a little bad memory does not matter Mr. Wright, after all it was dark, for all we know Bruce might have been looking away from Mr. Tuskin, making it appear the gun was held in bruces left hand!”
“Well ok, but may I ask you, would you forget a gunshot?”
“Of course not, get on with it Mr. Wright!”
“What I’m meaning to say is, Mr. Tuskin here said a gun was fired 2 times! Frankly I find that impossible!”
Everybody looked at phoenix, karma started to look angry.
“Out with it Wright!”
“May I introduce you to the murder weapon, now it was only shot once, Mr. Tuskin claims the gun was fired twice!”
Karma looked even angrier, Tuskin looked confused.
“I am sure I heard two!”
Spluttered Edward.
“But the gun was only fired once!”
“Well I must admit Mr. Wright; I don’t think the second gunshot came from below…”
“WHAT!”
Bellowed karma. Phoenix was grinning ear to ear, Maya was excited.
“I believe it came from the top floor, may I remind you I viewed it from the middle floor before you throw accusations at me!”
*I love this guy*
BANG
“That is enough, thank you Mr. Tuskin.”
“Well I believe both sides need to do more investigating on this, prosecutor I expect you have another witness?”
“Yes, Mr. Andrew thax!”
“Okay then court adjourned”

Court lobby room
11:15

“Phew thank god for honesty!”
“Do you think he’s telling the truth nick?”
“I’m not sure”
*But that bullet will give us the answers*
