Title: Rock 'N Roll Babysitter
Authors: Mitzy and PhoenixFire
Rating: G
Genre: Humor, I suppose.
Status: Complete
Pairing: Kristoph/Mia, but it's not the main focus...
Summary: A collaborative FanFic by Mitzy and PhoenixFire. Klavier babysits his niece, Maria. (Maria is the girl in my avatar, by the way.)

-----------------

Where'd she go off to now? Klavier looked in every room in the house, looking for his niece, Maria. "Where'd you go, Maria?" he called. Maria was hidden behind curtains in the living room, giggling. She was surprised her uncle had yet to find her. "Tee-hee~." Klavi heard a giggle in the living room. He headed to where he heard the sound. "Mari, is that you?"

Maria couldn't help but giggle more. "Tee-heehee~!" The curtain rustled some. Klavier knew where she was now, but he continued playing along. He playfully looked under pillows, under blankets, even under the couch. "I wonder where she went~." Maria busted out with more giggles, fighting the urge to peek from behind the curtain as it rustled more. "You're getting warmer~."

He stood in front of the moving curtain. "I think she's riiiight...." He pulled open the curtain. "Here!" Maria squealed some. "You found me!" Here she tried to run off, giving a mischievous look toward her uncle. Klavi smiled. He didn't let her run off far before grabbing her and lifting her to his height. "Always on the move, ja?" he laughed. "Yep!" She giggled, kicking her legs some as they dangled, but not enough to actually kick her uncle. She loved him too much to kick him. "Aww~. Say, aren't you getting hungry?"

"Sure am, Uncle Kla-Kla!"

"Want me to make you a sandwich?" the young man asked.

"Just so long as it's not that yucky tuna fish like your friend likes." The little girl grinned.

"Haha! So, is... peanut butter fine?"

"Yep! My favorite!"

Klavier nodded. He got out all the needed supplies, and prepared the sandwich in record time. "Here you go, miss, one peanut butter sandwich on white. It's on the house. Be sure to enjoy it, unlike mein bruder." he said, laughing. "Vati's a stick-in-the-mud anyway. At least, that's what Mommy calls him." Maria giggled, taking time to savor the first bites of the sandwich. Klavier chuckled. "How is your mother nowadays, anyway? I haven't had the chance to talk to her much."

"She's really really busy helping Herr Wright. She said he got....disbarreded." Maria clearly stumbled over the word ‘disbarred’. "Ach, yes, Herr Wright's disbarment." he said, sadly. He knew about it; he was that case's prosecutor, anyway. "Hey, after lunch, you wanna hear some music?" He smiled. "As long as it's not that boring stuff Vati listens to all the time." She bounced some. "His music's all boring. Not at all fun like yours." He smirked. "Well, thanks for the compliment, Mari. I brought my guitar today, just in case." She giggled. "So then you'll play some songs for me?"

"I sure will. Think of it as your own private Gavinners concert, ja?... Minus the Gavinners."

"Teehee~. Who needs them when I gots the lead vocal? 'Specially don't need scary sharky-face."
"Ha, Daryan? Nein, he's a nice guy... I'll go get my guitar, stay right here, okay?"
"Alright." She sat still, her legs dangling off the chair she sat in, still munching away happily on her sandwich. He went out to his motorcycle. He had a guitar case bag on the side. He unhooked the case and took it inside. She bounced in her seat, finishing up the sandwich, her fingers still sticky from the peanut butter. A naughty part of her decided to lick the peanut butter of her fingers--something she'd never do if her father was home.

"I see you've finished up." He took her plate to the sink. He put his case on the table. He unlatched it, and opened it, revealing a shiny acoustic guitar. Her eyes widened at the sight of the guitar. It was all sparkly and pretty. "Eee. Pretty~."

He smiled and took it out. He put the strap around his shoulder. Klavi strummed a few chords. "Ah, it's relaxing, ja?"

"Mhm~. Very relaxing." Here she swayed a little.

"Any requests~?" he asked, strumming quietly.

"Oh! Oh! Your new one. Your new one. That one about...the prosecutation's witness or whatever it is..." Again, she stumbled on a word, this time, "prosecution".

"Ah, yeah! My B- Girlfriend is the Prosecution's Witness. I'll try."

"Something up, Uncle Kla-Kla?" Here she tilted her head some.

"N-no, what do you mean?"

"You act like Vati when I ask him how he got his hand scar."

"...Let's get to the music, hahaha, okay, let's go." He began playing the song, faster than usual. He started singing. She swayed some, clapping her hands. She loved her uncle's voice.

After a minute or two, he finished up the song. "Well, what did you think?" he asked, smiling sweetly.

"It was so sweet. But...uh...you accidentally said 'he' once." She giggles.

"D-did not!" he replied, nervously.

"Yep, you did."

"Got any evidence~? You have to have evidence if you're gonna make a claim like that!" He smirked.

Here she pulls out a tape recorder she had hidden in her pocket the whole time. "I'll play it back, uncle Kla.
: "...W-what?”

"I'll play back that part." Here she moved her finger toward the button.

"Hahahahaha, NEIN." He tried to snatch the tape recorder out of her hand.

"...Aww! You said to have evidence!" Here she put her hands on her hips. "You're a meanie!"

"Ach, fine..." He handed the recorder back to his niece.

When she pushed the button, only snippets of the song played, but not the part where he'd slipped up. "Oh scheisse!"

"Maria! Watch your mouth, ja?" He was relieved about the tape, too. But Kristoph wouldn't be too happy if he heard Maria say that, and he'd probably blame Klavier.

"I heard Vati say it..." Here she looked down.

"Well, that's, er, a bad word. Vati wouldn't be very pleased if he heard you using that kind of language."

"Uh oh~. Vati said a bad word? I'mma tell Mommy on him!"

"Haha! That'd be fun to watch, y’know." He laughed. Klavier then heard a car in the driveway. "I think you're parents are back, Mari."

"Aww man! And things were just getting fun." Maria pouted. Klavier heard the door open. A tall blonde man by the name of Kristoph Gavin walked in to the room, with his wife, Mia Fey, in close second. Mia leaned her head on Kristoph's shoulder slightly. "We should go to dinners there more often. Though...it's kind of sad to see what Phoenix has become."

"Yes, very sad indeed." Kristoph soon arrived in the room where Klavier and Maria were. "Ah, hello, Klavier, Maria. How was your day, you two? Klavier, I trust you took care of your niece?"

"Yes, Kristoph. We had a lot of fun, didn't we, Maria?"

"We had lots of fun!" Maria giggled before looking to Mia. "Mommy, Vati's been using really really bad words." Mia glanced over to Kristoph, then back to Maria. "Like what, sweetie?" Maria giggled. "Scheisse." Klavier couldn't help but chuckle at Maria's antics towards her father. "Ja, bruder, you should watch your mouth." To that, Kristoph replied with a small glasses push. "Yes, I apologize." Mia shook her head. "Kris, I don't care if it's German, you should really watch that kind of language. Though...I seem to recall she learned 'verdammt' from you, Klavier." Maria's giggles suddenly stopped. "...I just asked what it meaned." Klavier scratched the back of his head. "Yeah, I guess she might have learned that from me... Vergib mich?" Mia chuckled softly. "I forgive you. It's not as though she doesn't learn it from her father already. He's a good man, but honestly, sometimes he's got a mouth that would make Phoenix ashamed.

"I know what you mean." he replied, smirking in Kristoph's direction.

Maria looked confused now. "Vati, does Herr Wright say a lot of bad words?"

Kristoph smiled and said, "He has his moments."

"So...what does that one word he said that starts with 'f' mean?" Maria gave a cute, innocent look.

"...You'll find out when you're older." Kristoph replied.

Mia sighed heavily. "Let me guess, Klavier used it too?"

Maria shook her head. "No, Mommy. I was just curious."

Klavier smiled and started to pack up his guitar in the case. Mia looked to Kristoph. "Since he did such a good job, maybe we should pay him for taking time out of his busy schedule. I mean, I know he's your brother and would likely do it for free...but..."

Kristoph smiled. "Perhaps this could be arranged..." He pulled a fancy wallet out of his pants pocket. "Let's see... 10, 20, 30... 50 dollars."

Mia nodded. "That sounds reasonable for a job well done."

Kristoph nodded and handed it to his brother. "Gee, thanks, bruder. Well, I suppose I should be getting out of here, things to do, people to see..."

"You take care, alright?" Mia gave a soft, sympathetic smile. Maria waved her hands wildly. "Bye-bye Uncle Kla-Kla!"

"Will do." he softly replied to Mia. He bent over to Maria's level. "I'll see you soon, ja?"

"Otay, Uncle Klavy!" Here Maria hugged her uncle quickly.

Klavi put an arm around her. He then unwrapped his arm, and stood up. "Later, everyone." He opened the door, and headed towards his bike. He hooked the guitar case on again, and started the bike up. He rode off with a smile on his face.
