THE SCENT OF DARK COFFEE

I walk by the coffee shop
And remember days goneby
Days happy
Days sad
Days shocked
Days glad
The Scent of Dark Coffee brings me back

I wake from my long sleep
To find that she is gone
Only White is in my mind
My thoughts are shattered;
Wrecked;
Clattered;
The Scent of Dark Coffee brings me back

Coffee is the reprieve
Coffee is the juice of beauty
Coffee is the thread of sanity
The Scent of Dark Coffee brings me back

Wow, that's amazing, how you can make a story and poetry-ify it.

Actually, to be perfectly honest, I believe when I wrote it I was trying very hard to keep Godot from being... well, the subject, but less-than-obvious. I'm not sure it worked.

So you wanted to make Godot less then obvious in that poem? Well the poem mention coffee alot so you messed up on that one!

But seriously, it was a good. For once I don't want to kill myself while reading poems. And it explained Godot very well.
